We had a customer at my shop who's BMW starved for oil from a clogged pickup tube. We were running it at about 2500 RPM in Park when it locked up. It instantly stopped spinning with a squeak I could feel in my teeth like nails on a chalkboard. Craziest sound I've ever heard
