I've been watching more of the smaller makeup collection videos and honestly I love them so much more than the bigger ones. It's practical. I see people with all this makeup and all I can think is how its going to expire or go to waste. My makeup collection is small and I'm okay with that. Less is more! Hope to see more videos from you!
It’s important to keep in mind that having a big makeup collection is kinda part of the job of someone with a beauty channel. They receive new makeup in PR constantly, they buy makeup products just to review them, not because they actually want them, and they have to show a huge variety of makeup looks using different products. People would get bored of someone using the same 3 eyeshadow palettes in every video, for example. Many beauty vloggers have admitted that they wouldn’t have nearly as much makeup if they had a different job. It’s not practical and they don’t usually use a great part of their makeup collection. But it’s part of being a beauty guru.
same here I think that the smaller ones are better than the bigger ones because it actually shows the good makeup rather than the ton of terrible products they wasted their money on and didn't work and the videos are so long too 100% agree we Stan you QUEEN!
I love this so much because this is a reasonable amount of makeup for someone your age to have... I’m seeing 12 year olds with like $1000 worth of makeup and they don’t even wear any.. I love this so much and keep doing what your doing!❤️

It’s really nice to see people with a normal amount of makeup my makeup collection only takes up a small little bookshelf and that’s because it’s really spread out and there’s a lot of decor

I used to have almost 50 palettes and i decluttered 70% of my makeup. My makeup collection now is like twice the size of yours and I love all that is left. BUT i have 25 lipsticks tho coz i love lippies haha!
This actually inspired me to declutter my makeup into a collection that fits into one of those acrylic containers while watching this. It’s so nice and feels so much easier to know what I have

Wish I had a smaller collection… I got sucked into the indie world of makeup, and my collection exploded in the last few years. I took a break from most of my social media to help stop my shopping addiction. I get overwhelmed by my collection, and tend to use the same things over and over.
I also prefer a small makeup collection because I’m able to make progress on my products and get good use out of all of them instead of forgetting about some and never using them

Use that real techniques 402 brush to apply your foundation, i know its a setting brush but it works wonders!! It makes your foundation look much natural and long lasting
This is almost the size of my collection too. I love minimal makeup because unless you do RU-vid as your primary job there’s no need to have hordes of makeup you will never ever use and like 40 eye palettes you will never finish in a million years . I have 6 peach blushes I feel I will never finish and I have like 6 more on my wishlist lol, I get overwhelmed with lots of makeup because I feel I’ll never finish it. Skincare I have more of cause it’s more important and generally go through quicker.

I have one concealer, powder , one small pallete with blush , bronzer and hilight , two mascarras and just lots of lip stuff , i have like three brushes and 5 sponges ! I just need something small and this is perfect!
Personally, i’m only 14 and own only around 10-15 makeup products and to me it’s 100% fine! I prefer smaller makeup collections because they are simple and the videos arent too long. However, in your actual/person life, it’s also not too much or too little makeup! I always see people, who dont even need to wear makeup, own millions of one specific thing, that i just wonder, ‘where is this going in your face?’ or ‘this is gonna expire before you even get to use it’. I have one of each thing, and i dont need more. Like you said in the beggining of the video, i always use up my products before i buy any more, or i buy them just a little before it runs out so i don’t have to waste my time later on. Especially because this is coming from my mothers money too, so i dont want to be buying an unnecessary amount of products for once face. And oh, i also have skl, so i can’t wear so much. I only wear concealer,eyebrows, highlighter and lipgloss to school because of the restrictions (i live in the UK). But the 2 eyeshadow palletes, foundation, eyeliners etc i own is to mess around with different looks (since i’m an arsty person lol) and when i go out with family/friends. Who else appreciates small collections more? I like them bc the tubers actually like their makeup and appreciate it more. It’s like a toxic vs good relationships on RU-vid...you always get interested in the toxic relationship but always will appreciate a good one (small makeup collections). Lol does that make sense or am I crazy 😝 😂 ❤️

Love this I used to have a huggeeeee makeup collection (a few thousand dollars worth) and realized how unreasonable that was how I wasn’t gonna use up anything before it expired I’ve since moved to a much smaller collection I still have a few palettes and stuff but it is very small compared to my old collection.
Omg I am so jealous of your makeup collection. I myself have a decent amount of makeup already, but there are so many products that I still want plus I wanna be able to grow my collection to.
