What an great vlog and what lovely scenery you showed of the swedish landscape down there in östergland. Yes Norrköping is one of those hidden gems. It is an lovely town. Not that i have seen much of it. Have had reasons to visit it when i have to take the train there, on my way to Nyköping. It was fun to hear about that lady who thought you could park your truck on the grass to unload the solar panels😃🚚

Hey Cassie, I am new to your channel and came across it by chance. I have to say that I have watched a few of your vlogs now inc the darker times you have been through but lets leave them in the past. I wish you a very happy new new year and truly all the best for 2023. This vlog was superb to watch and the country-side of Sweden is stunning to say the least - makes me want to visit. The roads for the most part seem very good and not so busy - certainly not compared to the UK where our roads can be very bad due to lack of maintenance. Nice to see you have similar issues with gps as we do lol - I have a very new job as a grocery delivery driver for one of our supermarkets (Tesco) - came back out of retirement for it and the gps sat nav is nothing but fun fun fun. Every evening is an adventure is how I look at it and do not get stressed about it - only bread and beans after all. Loving your style and content, your voice is very warm and calming - also loving your ink. Word of advise from an old duffer who has more time behind than in front - this life we have is a one shot deal, it is not a test run for anything else and the best we can hope for is to be remembered for a short period of time after we are gone - so do what makes you happy & healthy & steer clear of toxic people and enviroments. Really enjoyed the trip to Gotland.

It's a pleasure to read about your adventures as a truck driver. You take every load with you, no matter the sie of it. I was amazed to see, that your 'load' was very small in relation to your truck. In my country, we are used to extreme heat, the temperature can reach 50, we advise Europeans to drink plenty of water and wear loose clothing

Most of the cab over the engine trucks (semi's) or cabovers are long gone in the United States and Canada. I only see one maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. It's been 30 or 40 years since cabovers were used in great numbers. There isn't a limit on length on semi truck cabs & engines, just on the trailers which are usually maxed out at 53 feet in length. That length may be going up soon.

Hi Cassie 😊 thanks for taking us along whith you, beautiful countryside, and yes you were right the roads did get a little narrow, it didn't make any sense sending your truck whith such a small load on those roads, not very economic I would think. Hey Cassie, very nice vibe in your videos, thanks for taking us along! In my earlier career I also drove heavy trucks, but almost always only in the city centre in one of our largest cities in Sweden, delivering beverages to shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the extremely technical driving in the crowded, very narrow streets, but I also always longed to ”stretch my legs” on longer journeys. It wasn’t to be then but I still have my driving license of course (renewed it yesterday, as it happens), so you never know :)

Hi Cassie. I've always been of the opinion that it's better to be a little scared than scared. It's okay to expect difficulties, because there's always a big relief at the end. With all the urban loading and unloading on the ramps, a bit of rural light transport can be a nice diversion. The landscape is truly beautiful. I think there are places like that everywhere, just think of Western movies. In Hungary we call it a farm. Unfortunately, there are hardly any cottages anymore, because the elderly have turned them into apartments, it's easier to maintain. I think the RV bus was rented the driver had a size perception problem with it. There is a problem with your videos, I can only comment on in comments. I could definitely have a good chat with you, the journey would go faster and the time would be shorter. Seeing the road, there must be a lot of big machinery on it, and in winter it must be snow-ploughed. It has also happened to others that they have turned into an intersection before they should have. Wow, lucky the truck could handle that. It's not your company's fault, it's the customer's fault, they paid for the transport, they could have ordered a helicopter. When I used to drive a lorry, I had to detour with three small boxes of sweets and wait until morning at a petrol station, which closed in the evening with a 22-tonne tractor-trailer. I thought you were going to stop for a dip, but I guess you didn't have a bathing suit. Now you'll remember to bring a swimsuit in the summer, because you never know when you'll be driving by a beautiful lake and there's time the splash. It was a really good trip and I just hope you don't mind all my writing, but what can I do if I want to comment on everything!Feel free to tell me and I'll make it short. Lovely Drive Cassie, much prettier than most of the drives I get in England 😂 although I sometimes get deliveries that take me through the country side. I visited Sweden in 2018 and I’m desperate to come back! Such a beautiful country, I was there in March with snow on the ground and walking round the frozen lake in Sigtuna was awesome and stopped at Tant Bruns Kaffestuga for lunch. Managed to find a flying instructor at Norrkoping airport to go up flying for an hour, even more beautiful from the air! Keep smiling, keep trucking and take care 👌🏻
