You know I’m retrospect some of those videos probably had material not safe for children but Inko didn’t care and let him watch it. That MIGHT explain some things.
I ONLY thought of it that way. LITERALLY BACKGROUNDS ON FIRE. All might didn't stop the disaster, he's just rescuing survivors. I always thought it was creepy
@@rodrigoandorinha9259izuku doesn’t glorify the suffering and the profit of heroes though, he genuinely feels that heroes are meant to save people and be the hope for them.
Deku: play the video mum! Deku mom: do u realuze that thousands of people died in this video. Its like watching 911 footage. Deku mom: the way u enjoy this its. Its just not right.. *plays video* Random guy: I CANT FEEL MY LEGS!!! MY SONS BLEEDING OUT!!! HE IS CARRYING BODIES!!! deku: *being happy cutely* All might: everything will be alright.. Deku: AHAHAHAHA!!! Deku mom: my son needs help...
Ya know, while this shows Deku in a very interesting light, my take away from it comes from a Child's Dream to the Harsh Reality. Deku idolized All Might as a child to emulate him, only really focused on what his Hero was doing despite all the turmoil. Years later, Deku is much older on his journey to be a Hero, and has seen first hand destruction, injured or dead civilians, ptsd kicking in for folks, on something akin to a war. That being a Hero in the face of such turmoil is one of the biggest challenges he'll have to face. A video showed his Hero taking it in stride. Coming face to face with it, it broke a lot of Heroes.
I actually broke out laughing on this one, the fact that Deku's mum says all those people died and how Deku is messed up for liking it is such a departure from the original. Yet it's so true at the same time, and now it makes me think the original is messed up for not addressing those injured people before 🤣
