A WOMAN from Texas won’t allow her disability to ruin her dreams of becoming a makeup artist. Ashleigh, 29, was born with a spinal cord injury, leaving her unable to walk after an accident during her birth. Ashleigh told Truly: “I don’t have control over a lot of things - but makeup is something I do have control over.”

I forgive the dr who put me in this chair, just FYI. It’s the fact he denied any wrongdoing during the delivery, lied once I was finally resuscitated and delivered. It took my family roughly 6 months to properly get me diagnosed- C1-C2 incomplete spinal cord injury. I hope that answers many questions xoxo

I’m glad you’re doing well and haven’t let things get in your way. I was hit by a drunk driver when I was 11, dislocated my hips and knees and caused scoliosis. I’ve since forgiven her but it did take me a while. Docs weren’t sure I’d ever get out of my wheelchair but I did. Couldn’t do sports and was told having kids wouldn’t happen either. I have proven them wrong and had 3 kids. I hate when people try to judge others before they get to know them.

Medical negligence is actually a quite valid reason why become a doctor if you Dont have it in you to be careful and essentially care because yanking on a newborns head isn't going to end well and you Dont need to be a doctor to know that I can see why they are angry for her because this could have been avoided and that moment effects her daily and forever that's why it's frustrating that one persons lack of care made this happen to her

@@janedoll3237 Maybe I can offer an alternative to why this girl is saying this. I am a person who has extensive burning on my body by a boiling pot who decided it was a good idea to teach a children's cooking class while high and drunk. I am the daughter of a man who ended up disabled from polio after a doctor failed to look confirm he had the right patient, and vaccinated my uncle twice, and my father zero times and my father later contracted polio. The incident that left me scarred happened 20 years ago, and people STILL ask me "oh did you sue the woman?" It's inappropriate and rude to comment. After over 60 years people ask my father the same. It's invasive and frankly RUDE to comment if someone sued. People are moving on with their lives. It's not your business.
