That my friend is the best cook kit I have ever seen. I have been doing bushcraft survival for 30 years and this is one of the best kits I have ever seen way to go. Great kit
I was just about to write something similar. I’ve lived and worked outdoors for 40 years and I have never seen such a perfect cook kit. Kudos to you my friend.
@@genkiferal7178 There’s no such thing as perfect, so you just have to choose what aspect you prioritize, whether it be quality, utility, weight/portability, or budget. Just the name “Stanley” means it’s not for people looking for a budget build.
Finally a useful cook kit video rather than storing the entire lunchbox just to be able to make a cup of coffee. Love the demonstration. This is truly useful
Love your packing Tetris, but seeing you put that spout on the kettle was a game changer! I use the same coffee setup, and pouring water over the grounds can be tricky. I love it!
That my friend is not only the mutt's nuts, but also the cat's flaps. Well thought out, flexible, adaptable, everything in its place and a place for everything. EXcellent.
What a beautiful, creative mind you have. You solved many spacial/geometry problems, visualized solutions, and accomplished complicated tasks with the highest level of efficiency possible. Amazing and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your brilliance with us. 🥰😃😎
I am from South Africa. We have the largest preper grupe is the world. Google SBB Suidlanders and Suidlanders. Wel have a huge market for this kit. Please can i buy one from you and demo it to Suidlanders.
Thank you so much for this. Rarely do I leave comments on videos, but as a single camper with limited storage space (1 bedroom apartment), this perfectly solves my needs for a camp kitchen while being compact and manageable for one person.
Sweet set up! I laughed when i saw you do the same trick i do... the fried spam greases the pan for the egg. Mine are cooked in a cast iron pan with an English muffin though. And you love coffee... Hello friend I've never met. Thanks and have a great day!
I’m so obsessed with this set up that I bought the Stanley lunch box the same day I watched this video. And half of the other things using your links, of course. 😊
@@jerrykovis5417 so far I have the Lunchbox, the Stanley cook set, the knife, the kettle, the tin, the spice jars, close to $200. The sandwich maker is $70 on eBay. Still debating if I really need it. I want it though.
@@prescillagcon Sandwich maker = grill = egg fry pan. Or anything else you'd like to make, like scrambled egg. What's not to love? This entire setup is so amazing. However, I've got my doubts I'd ever get it all back together again, after cleanup lol. And woe unto anyone who loses anything from it.
Wow, oh wow! I was so impressed with your kit. Especially the kettle- my very first impression was ‘Yes- finally someone gives the kettle form (ie; not a pot) its rightful place’…. But then when you put the pour over spout on your kettle- Wow- next level status right there. Kudos- you are a Master!
Very nice. Never thought of using the sandwich maker as a skillet. Going to now, heh. I tend to cook over wood fires, not using the gas stoves, but the concept is the same. My kit is basically the same items in my pack, plus my cast iron skillet. To me, that is an essential. I think yours would be a perfect kit to store in a car trunk for emergencies, as well as for your woodland outings. Definitely going to be spreading this video around to my survival and camping friends.
not gonna lie, thought this was kinda kitschy... but i was wrong. this is brilliant. and i'm not a coffee drinker, so that opens up some space for other things. thanks for sharing.
Amazed! Normally, I give a thumbs up for good effort on camp cooking videos, but this one shows such practicality and genius, I immediately subscribed. Then, I used links in the info box to start shopping for gear, making sure @slowbeat would get credit for anything I buy. This is not normal for me! I especially want that lunchbox and kettle pouring spout, to start with.
That’s very nice to hear! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! As for the kettle spout, it sometimes drips from the edge. We are still looking for a better solution and will keep you posted when we find one!
The whole video was amazing. Especially with explanations of each piece of equipment and how they can be used. (For those of us who aren't familiar - like probably just me). 😊😊
So easy to view without any talking over it. Impressive kit. Stove inside the box, tho, can accumulate gas which can cause a fireball and the loss of eyebrows! The little stool it's on is too unstable, too. Other then that, great vid!
It's the magnets for me. Of course, Stanley lunch box is METAL. Interior spaces like the kettle could also be used as a way to store stuff, but overall, it's a solid setup.
It is only useful for car camping. Too heavy for trekking and way to heavy for in the mountains. But as you didn't specify the use i assume that it is meant for car camping. I only have a heavier kit when out with the whole family. But than it is devided over several packs. Usually the heaviest things, Czech surplus mess kit with content, in mine.
Obtained everything you showed, added a bottle/can opener and a military P38 can opener via magnets to the lid replaced the chopsticks with a set of thin titanium utensils. (Spoon, fork and knife). Perfection….thank you for the video!🤗
Everyone is in English... I was worried that spam would fall out, but this stacking is amazing! Looks delicious. I'll try to do that too😊 By the way, I'm Japanese.
