Ruyi deserved a Palace full of children and to grow old to see her grandchildren and possible great grandchildren, but instead, she was treated horribly by the majority of the harem as well as the Emperor. She should have just climbed the walls and hid in the mountains or crossed the sea. She probably would have been better off than the life she lived at the Palace.

这孩子是挺可怜的。如果他一直养在如懿那边，也不应该成那样了。可惜他被送到纯妃那儿的时候没人管他。只能靠自己。看着别的孩子有人替他们样样都最好的，他却得到差的。又没人教导。当然只能看着最有实力的人做榜样了（就是渣隆）。

From what I saw in other clips, 1st Prince was taken care of by Noble Consort Chun after Ruyi was framed & sent to the Cold Palace & stayed with her, i think until his death

eventually, this prince tried to use the death of the empress to become crowned prince, was found out and was shunned by the emperor and sent out of the palace, he became ill and died, but not before apologizing to Ryui for being calculated. his original birth mother was poisoned and died in childbirth with his younger sister(who also died). Orphaned (from mom) he was mistreated by the empress who was jealous of him being the eldest and not her biological son. Even after being sent to Noble consort Chun he was still treated as a stepchild and missed Ryui.

@@diratalib387 the original birth mother was Imperial Noble Consort Zhemin. She gave birth to the first prince when the Emperor Qianlong was still a prince. Sadly she died along with her daughter after giving birth. She died when Qianlong was still a prince.
