I knew on the last bug video this was some content I’d really enjoy seeing! Love the normal videos but the off-road stuff is my favorite! Hope to see you at the 2024 mint 400!
Happy to say my daily driver f150 is back on the road. The 93 f150 finally has a transmission that shifts again. The old aod crapped out. Didn’t like life anymore.
I agree with many others. KEEP that thing! Fix the interior holes, strengthen interior cage/put some padding also. Ensure steering components are Waaaay stronger. Paint the body, fix the rear CV axel angles, add some King Suspension, and top it off with some LED Lights, BAM! Lifetime of Fun!
Definitely keep it Craig. It's awesome toy can make it sooooooo much better. Play with it for the season. Then do a build series with it but don't take a whole yr to finish it. Something fast, a few little thing. You got a great base with this one very solid 👌 👍
Cool that it didn't go into limp mode while you were out there, or did it? Gotta say too, that slowmo of Franklin's truck going over the whoops was sweet, seems very well set up 👌
Yeah. Keep that. It's way cool. Maybe put a proper cage in it and cover up some of the holes, paint it like the town car. Perhaps a little rewiring and proper switches.😂😂 I have a little soft spot for the Baja bugs.
I love this bug! I always wanted one but winter in Canada sucks lol. I also spotted a black Mazdaspeed 3 parked at your shop! I have a Freektuned 2010 and love it! If you need a new project I`d even drive it down and we could do a collab video!
just fix up and repair the stuff that *WILL* break and upgrade a few things here and there[like the gauge clusters and instrument panel]. overall it aint setup as terrible as it looks. you know what they say, dont judge a book by its cover. sure the roll cage is a bit boogered but i think its that way for a reason. it makes just enough power to be fast as it sits
This thing sounds epic. I'd love to see it with a single twin-scroll turbo using the equal length exhaust (and a dose pipe on the intake with no BOV for stututu sounds) pushing about 650 wheel.
do they make automatics that would work in this setup? seems like it'd be a serious challenge to manage the gas, clutch, and finding the gear in a sketchy trans while your feet are bouncing around on the whoops
dude try not to reverse the bug on to the trailer because those 002 and 091 bus transmissions are known to have a super weak reverse gear. its the size of a coke bottle top.
I live out here in Salton city just stay from the shore line you'll sink but you need to improve a few things but it does kick ass the rear shock mounts need addressed
Watching the slow mo of the suspension on the bug and the truck is awesome. Plus very jealous of the warm weather you guys have. It's 12 degs this morning where I'm from.
I have a 71 beetle that I’m trying to get something like that out of. I’d like to see a close up of what was done to the frame head to get that front suspension on
