My Story of How I Started Sewing For A Living  

This is my dream job. Your Instagram and now RU-vid channel have really inspired me to try sewing historical costumes as a possible job instead of just a personal hobby!

Thank you for telling us your story. I found it very interesting. I think your dresses are beautiful and although I don't make historical costumes, I'm really enjoying seeing how they are made.

School isn't for everyone. Learning a trade can be just as (and sometime more) lucrative than plodding away at a degree that may or may not pay off in the end. I wish they did a better job of communicating that to high schoolers and taught them about entrepreneurship.

Hi Tailorette. i like you.I learnt how sew at a young age. i now sew more for therapy as i live with PTSD(exfirey). its my art therapy. i sew everything from Leotards to Tutu's. lycra to couture tutu's I also work pants and cloths for my wife and daughter. nothing beats well fitted pair of pants or jacked.
