Actually during winter in finland its not that dark due to the snow making everything look lighter.

The gauge on the dashboard of the truck you were looking at is air pressure in the air tank of the truck. Every time it dropped back you could hear the chuff of the pressure relief valve releasing air, otherwise the tank would just turn into a bomb and explode...

I encountered that sewer job problem , what I did is to redo the whole poop sucking process , remove the hose from the sewer and then reinsert/drop the hose into the sewer again and that actually worked , it is a bug on the truck I guess

I remember getting my first computer in 2003. It was a pentium 4 computer with 256MB RAM and 40GB hard drive. It was a beast for the time and was so good that the first upgrade which I did for the processor and RAM was in 2011-12. I was only 6 at the time and used to play Road Rash and Le Mans 24 hours. My maternal uncle was the one who had personally assembled it. Even though I don't have the hardware of 2003 but the CPU unit is still there. It kind of gives a nice modern-retro look. (A 2003 unit with i7 processor and 32 GB RAM, GTX 2080) still a beast!

Squirrel, whenever you try to suck out the sewage, you have to turn on the hydraulic pump first, then grab the hose but only let the tip of the hose touch the poop and then it will suck it in. That's how I got it to work.

My first was an IBM PC JUNIOR. ~1984. It had a blue screen that had a few options. Word Processor, Flight Simulator. YES it had a little 2 bit plane that you could fly around over a green map! You could only type two pages and then you had to save to a 5 1/4 inch floppy. All my college buddies were constantly banging on my door to use it for term papers as most people had typewriters. It had a dot matrix printer and took about 2 minutes to spit out a page BUT FOR it's time it was absolute heaven!!

Perhaps you could escort Pig Man to the Dance Hall, where he could strut his stuff to that rocking band, and have a dance with that other guy's pig-wife.

6439th! Ahem... anyway... re: the power bill and the merry spinning of the meter, have you turned the sauna heater off? I can't hear it buzzing from the shower room, but nor do I remember it ever being turned off and the timer didn't ever seem to run out in the earlier videos. If it's still going, you've probably got the equivalent of a two bar electric fire running continually in a back room you never use for anything any more. On the other hand, the accelerated time might just be making the relatively minor load of fridge, battery charger, and one or two lights (...and the radio?) look worse than it actually is, because you're actually using an hour's worth of power, game-time, in a few minutes of real time, so it needs to spin pretty fast to make up the difference. Maybe worth looking at your RL meter to see what each spin is worth (something like 6 watt-hours I think?), timing its spin rate in-game and seeing if you can determine the simulated energy use from that, and how much turning various things on and off affect it. For example my own not very efficient, probably fairly 90s-spec fridge-freezer uses, on average, the equivalent of about 100w continuous. If game time is, say, 10x real time, that alone could look like the equivalent of a 1-bar fire when you look at the meter. And of course you could try -unplugging the phone- .... ahem... if that actually works then someone needs to have a word with the dev because it's rather a break from reality. Also obligatory pointing-out that you didn't take a proper look at the couch in pigman's cabin, I would have expected you now get the option to sleep on it, and other comments here seem to confirm that. Check it out before going to the trouble of dragging a couch (or the old back seats out of your car?) all the way over there ;-) Oh, and, was it the Extra stream you won the watch in? I can't remember. Perhaps something else to quickly check, in case you already have it... As per a comment I probably made on _that_ series, the computer is probably a bit low spec because you haven't spent that much money on it. One mark in the game seems roughly equivalent to 10p, and ~£660 is about _one third_ of what my family paid for a full fat CDROM-equipped, Windows-running, 8mb 486-DX2/66 in late 1994. Six months later, the money you paid probably would actually have got you a 486 something-33 (maybe it's a DX, but it could well be an otherwise rare SX33...) with no Windows, 4mb RAM, pitiful hard drive, and a 5.25 floppy where the CDROM should be. Essentially the ... Russian? (cyrillic text on the advert!) mail-order seller of that machine is shucking off their otherwise worthless surplus stock to naive Finns who don't know any better :-D ... but, hey, it comes with a built-in (...4800 baud?!) modem, so that's something at least. Though actually it still wouldn't have been that bad, just not exactly top end (if you had deep enough pockets, DX4/100s and P90s were what you looked to for top gaming, rendering or number crunching performance). Computer rooms and library of my school were at that point, and for a couple years after, still full of 386 SX16s and 486 DX25s with 3.5" floppy drives only (and tiny HDDs meaning that a lot of stuff had to load, achingly slowly, off an internal-only network server), though a few of them had caddy-loading external SCSI CDROMs added on, along with a precious few internal CD equipped 486 DX33s and a couple of DX2/66s. Plus the oddball PS/2s in the careers room (386 DX25s I think?). All with various memory complements from 2 to 8mb, though 4 was most common as that was enough to run Encarta, MS Office and/or Works, Corelpaint and Serif Pageplus (which was somehow, 20+ years ago, still more powerful and flexible than my copy of MS Publisher 2013)... almost all at standard VGA rez (a couple hitting the magic 800x600) and either 16 or 256 colours. And we thought we were so sophisticated...

Paul, i am pretty sure, that the muffler requires 2 bolts to be tightened, not one. You keep tighten up only one that's why it keeps breaking off.

That problem where the truck won't suck the waste happens to me all the time. The only way to fix it is do what you did - reinsert the pipe and turn it on again. It seems to be a new bug that hasn't been fixed yet.

Thats the air pressure of the truck brakes, you can see what it drops when you hear that "csssss" sound of releasing air,and when you put parking brake on

The first foot of the pipe tip has to touch the bottom of the sewage well to trigger the suction. I've had this happen, where the hose gets bent or tangled near the bottom, but not quite at the bottom (or wherever the trigger point is exactly). But basically, just jiggle the hose around, and it should work, as with most things in life.

What happened with the hose is a common glitch I encounter. It's just an issue where the game doesn't read that your hose is in the shit because it's all the way at the bottom. Just turn on the hydraulic pump before putting the hose in and it should prevent the glitch from happening

The bug with the truck was the pipe. The end of the pipe wasn’t hitting the trigger point in the well properly, so it needed to be taken out and put back in 😆

The pressure gauge is for brake air pressure. I have no idea what the symbol is actually supposed to be, (I always thought it kind of looks like a trumpet) but it looks like that on a lot of trucks and trains.

I recently started playing this, not on experimental, and I encountered the hose issue several times. I think the problem is that the end of the hose is folded back on itself. The end is particularly troublesome because it seems to need to be on the very bottom of the well, and it doesn’t have any weight pulling it straight. Folded up, it sits comfortably on top of the next joint and up against the wall. I haven’t had a problem since taking care to insert the hose cleanly. Edit: Looking at your footage more carefully, it did seem to straighten out after the insertion. Hmm. You wouldn’t be able to put the truck in gear while operating the pump if you were still using the H-shifter. It’s weird because that isn’t how a clutch and transmission work at all. Instead of being non-synchronous, it’s become even more of a fantasy box. It’s strange that nights are pitch black in this game. It should never get very dark at that latitude and time of year. There’s also no moon. Then again, this is the game that puts the sun directly overhead in Finland. Don’t tell me you don’t see the point of the ditch while the answer is literally pouring out of the heavens. Although you evidently can’t expect realism.
