My Summer Car - Episode 7 - It's Alive! 

So I finished my first ever build, followed squirrel along every step of the way. Really enjoyed it. Took about 4 hours.. Only error I made was not buying enough Oil, so i took a drive to the shop only to FLIP the van on the way home! Holy crap I survived though, thought OK ill grab my shopping bag and walk back 15 minutes. I died from dehydration as I walked through the front door. Permadeath ON. 10/10 cant wait to do it again.

8:45 You missed the bolt that connects the brake master cylinder to the brake pedal! You're going to have a brake fluid leak or your brakes won't work.

just remember when you go to get it registered grab the warning triangle off the back off the tractor and put it in your boot

Btw the front left is in Mat black instead of shiny black

Not to be mean but I really wish you haven't noticed the brake master cylinder XD mainly because I really want to see what would have happened

It’s been 4years and I’ve finally decided to get the game and I want to say a big thank you for getting me to to play the game and your epic videos to build the car

By the way your front left fender was accidentally painted matte black and it stands out. Just in case you didn't know. :)

I shot coffee through my nose when you went underneath to adjust the alignment and the first thing you said was "There is nut underneath the car" LMAO!!!!!!!!

Compliments to the mechanic you have done a good job there sir. as for the name the first thing that came in to my head was "Panda" no insult to Fiat lol. loving this build Paul i am hooked.

Out of all the tutorials on how to build the car i actually made the car work 100% on this tutorial i spent months trying to build this car over and over on the other tutorials and this one worked 100% and thank you Squirrel for the help i appreciate it. :]

I like how when he tries to push the car outside of the garage he struggles when the Ebrake isn't on.

Please grab the orange triangle thingy off of the poop truck and take it to get registered and get your plates!

Now of to the bodyshop to fix the bootlid damage, rear bumper damage and damage near the front left headlight. Plus maybe some other damage you got when you pushed it into the pit.

I say we name the car Bill.

You should call it Buck, because Uncle Buck's car goes bang every time he turns the engine off.

You should get a percentage of sales of the game. I'd seen it many times and passed it by. Watched your first vid in the series and bought it right away. Great vids, man.

Your front left fender is the wrong color and you dented your car pushing it around. Front left and rear left.

When you take a whiz when you start drizzling at the end press and hold the P key and the stream will get stronger and you'll be through it a lot sooner then dripping wee all over your property line lol

the name of the car should reflect it's incomparable singularity in as much that it is indeed a small city runabout the offspring of a squirell and a flat pack of dodgy sausages, Two suggestions are 'The Bogwhoppet' and the other is 'The vermicious canid' Equally singular and unexpected. lmao Feed it some noisy dog at the first opportunity. Great series.

Remember to put the warning triangle from the tractor in the car when you go for inspection.

Those tires don't look bald, they look worn. :) Those tires still have visable tread, bald tires are smooth. Beyond bald they wear through so you can see the belts. And if you keep driving on those, eventually air will start to leak out around the belts. THEN it's time for new tires. ;)

You damaged the back driver trunk and light when it fell into the pit. The bug spray is still in the closet under the food. I would personally name the car Pandy Punk...because of the coloring.

Did you know when you use the ladle in the sauna. The hitmarker is actually on the ladle it self, not the cursor in the middle.

I'm surprised a British bloke like you said, "counterclockwise" instead of "anti-clockwise" when adjusting the alignment nut.

I got this game because of your vids and when I first got my engine running I literally backed it up 14 times

Yay! 4th restart, 4th failure always fuel leaking, put the fuel in, but gauge is still at zero.

Got my Satsuma assembled and running (to a certain extent, at least, not yet tuned). Then I crashed in the mechanic's courtesy car and discovered the hard way that I apparently had permadeath enabled. *faceplant* Back to the drawing board....

I might expect an update may add the ability for the sauna to light on fire if left on while you sleep/go away

That's a very good point. The only way I play the game is if there is a off button for the Flippin annoying animals and bugs.

You can just eyeball the toe, I got it perfect in one try. Line up the front wheels until they're parallel to the rear, easy peasy.

You should try a VW Harlekin colour scheme at some point... ie using a different colour for each of the base bodyshell and every single panel. And maybe the wheels. (OK, VW just used four different colours, red-yellow-green-blue, and so doubled up left vs right, but there's no reason you need limit yourself that way) Also that's a pretty nasty brown colour :D Shame you can't respray the hubcaps, that'd have been an obvious first port of call if I was doing this IRL. I seem to remember spraying up a set of steels in order to get a nice contrast with some OEM half-caps at one point, but it was a coin toss between that and spraying the caps the opposite way.

I find it interesting that the developer has 'hood' and 'boot' as opposed to 'bonnet and boot' or 'hood and trunk'. Good looking ride you got there👍 Almost looks like an older Datsun

It appears to me that he'd forgotten to connect the brake pedal to the brake master cylinder. That is assuming he needs to do that, since it was required for the clutch master cylinder :P
