There's one time I prized 4 Capsakids. Not very useful when your only attacker is Scovillain EX (that was before we could have ogerpons as potential secondary attackers). Still managed to get a Bibarel to attack a weak one-prizer... and I got one of my prizes that wasn't a capsakid. The game did not want me to win that match.
\_o_/ YO LDF Last stream: "Why's nobody talking about Cinderace? I dunno, I guess nobody's cracked it." LDF Now: "I just finished wrecking everyone on the ladder with Cinderace." Bro is the chosen one
Looks like it could be just as good as Charizard, since it can't be walled by Cornerstone Mask, has free retreat, is searchable via Feather Ball, AND can snipe the Bench... I agree with this deck choice of using the Charizard base construction, and then fitting in Cinderace instead of Charizard and then swapping out cards to more fit Cinder... You laughed earlier in the video about potential adding a Charizard line in this deck, but I was thinking you could do the Charizard/Dusknoir deck but with Cinderace...cause with the Sniping of Cinder + Dusknoir you can snipe 280 on to a bench...we can snipe opponent's Pidgeot exs! Which has been running around in more decks now, with Terapagos included I think Cinderace/Dusknoir could be a solid threat to look out for
@@soobs933 honestly it's kind of a different deck entirely, and I think you'd just start the decklist over from the ground up with the Zard/Noir build in mind... So 3/1/3 of the Cinderace line, 2/2 Pidgey/Pidgeot (you can try to fit 1 Pidgeotto to counter TM - DEVO) AND A 1/1/1 line Dusknoir, you could try a 2/1/1 but, there is NO Space left And then the modern staples (including the Zard staples) of Fezendipiti, Rotom V, Lumineon V, Radiant Zard and Manaphy...you could even have space for a 1/1 Bibarel line if you want... Then it's the 4 Arven which searches any item (like Feather Ball, or whatever you need) and the equip like Sparkling Crystal or Band...3 Iono, 2 Boss 1 Research, you could also try to run 1 Briar and 1 Turo Then instead of the 6 Fire Energies, I actually like the energy line of the Decklist in this video, granted it's more energies so less room for trainers...but try to make space for Rods, cause you can cycle the Dusknoir line and really anything you need back into the deck
One thing I noticed that I don't think you were quite aware of, is that the same Cinderace can just keep firing Garnet Volley's over and over, without retreating or discarding energy. And you can swap back and forth between Flare Strike and Garnet Volley, instead of going to the bench to reset your flare strike. Only if you don't have the energy requirement for Garnet Volley is this not an option, but I believe you did have it in the few situations where this idea came up.
One tech setup I’ve found useful for this deck spread. 1/1 line of Glimmora Ex with the 40hp ascension Glimmet. Dark/fighting energy swapped. Allows for a nice surprise -5 board wipe against under depths decks and give a weakness into Terapagos, Miraidon, Fez, Galvantula and plenty of other prevalent cards in format.
Out of all the decks that have been featured on here the yvetal/fross/munki deck has been my fav. Im on a 14 win streak with it in ranked . Just got all the cards in the mail today to build the deck to play locally around here . Im using neutralization zone , radiant alakazam ,and blood moon for endgame come backs . I just save the devos for the end . Throw out the neutralization zone and hit em with a roxanne . Hit a devo and then nestball a blood moon in and countercatcher into a 2 prizer. Been shredding people . Deck does have some bad match ups against other other single prize decks though . But with how many evolution builds are out right now its been doing great. Zard ,chein, dragapault ,regi, cinderace . Been clapping all of em . Iron hands is scary though😅
I've been playing with its another version immediately since its release, it's good (unless you brick). I think Kieran is essential in this deck, in case you don't have another Cinderace in play, to hit with 280 2 times in a row or deal 310 dmg. I've also been playing Hydrapple, absolutely love it! Can't wait for your video with it!
I'm studying all of the Cinderace decks I can, is there any way you can tell me about your list and share your list? I'm going to Louisville and if I have good reason to, I'd love to play Cinderace
@@LittleDarkFury Kieran brought me victory a few times when I had only 1 Cinderace in play and I could use Flare Strike twice, so I'm definitely keeping him 😉
@@LittleDarkFury it really depends I'm guessing, but given Cinderace's main attribute is damage, resetting it or dealing 310 (340 with defiance) might be a good play
This is what i like about cinderace stellar, has the great damage for an ex and able to snipe the bench with its massive 180 damage. Though, i might going a hard time fighting against other decks aside from the infamous zard
18:00 yeah... That's about my luck. I prize SO MANY of my needed Pokemon. Think the worst prize lock I've had was playing a Garde deck, I prized BOTH the Garde, Drifloon and Scream Tail. I had no way to attack really. My main damage ended up being Munki whenever a pokemon didn't get one tapped.
Would you ever play a munkidori and another dark energy in this list? I liked the idea from the gouging fire list and you already want dark energy for the cinderace snipe. My biggest concern would be bench space
Neo Upper Energy > Crystal for this deck. The Crystal only works doe Cinderace while the Neo Upper Energy can, in a desperation, go on Pidgeot ex. Also, you're already running Dark energy, Mukidori can help in the Dragapult ex (and Regidrgago VSTAR) match.
Nah nep upper isnt as good as crystal since an arven can literally turn into an attack with cinderace plus u already have double turbo in the deck for pidgeot
@@LittleDarkFury I don’t think bench space will be a problem since your board will mostly be 2-3 Cinderace Line, 1 Support Pokémon, 1 Pidgeot, not to mention Pokémon getting KO’d and Area Zero in opponent’s decks. Second, the first attack is the main attack, the second attack is situational, leaving dark energies for Munki. I think a 1of is a good inclusion.
I'm pretty sure the first game you played was the same match up I was testing against last night with Cinderace Ex and I ended up doing the same thing lol.
LETS GOOOO!!!! Love this Cinderace card. Do you think having a Vessel in deck is worth it? I was thinking it could help retreat Pokemon like Rotom/Lumineon or help get the dark/fighting energy in a pinch for Cinderace.
in the Zard mach, when you used arven to get crystal and rare candy, why didn't you use crispin instead? Because then you could have quick searched for rare candy, and saved your ace spec for later.
Will you please make a ryhperior deck? the ones from stellar crown are actually really strong i feel like. not having too worry about your opponents bossing around your bench or any other supporter cards that effect your pokemon! Also his attack for 180 and discard and energy is really obtainable with turbo energy. Just another fun 1 prize deck too run
Also, would Turo be a better choice than Penny you having a sparkling crystal if you ever had to just pull up the cinder race for some reason you could potentially still keep that sparkling crystal and use it again
Hey LDF, your content got me into Pokémon tcg but I’ve still yet to find a deck that I find fun to play, and I love the new garganacl ex but cant seem to find a decent decklist 😢 so ill be waiting for the garganacl vid boss 💪
Or use point system insread. I once prized all 4 Litwicks in my Chandelure deck and was out of attackers, so I just scooped. Yesterday I prized all 3 Academy at Night, which are essential for Slowking deck - also scooped. Also prized all Charizards once.
Had a tournament yesterday and the dude I was up against prized every one of his Regis. So I basically just fought ogre Pon he scooped and it felt bad for a match
Love ya LDF but the way you pronounce Garganacl > gargancel makes me feel some way. It's a hard c sounding like k. It's a mash up of gargantuan and NaCl; sounds like Gargan Nakl. Follows the same cadence as Bionicle.
You can also use that one double ace Spec energy instead of sparkling crystal, because Cinderace meets all the requirements, and it would be funny to just be able to use both attacks at full power. Editing here: 3 prized bunny is crazy.
@arthuralexandermatveychuk974 well thats the tradeoff right? Speed and ease but a bit more vulnerable. Personally I prefer being able to find it easier for plays I wanna do.
@@CloudSyndrome89 I see no speed and no ease, no more than upper neo. You still need to manually attach 2 energies with crystal. So you either have to Arven one turn then Crispin another, or use Pidgeot, or just find neo with Pidgeot. It's absolutely the same.
Why Sparkling Crystal when Neo Upper exists? Yes there’s Arven, but you can Arven for TM Evo instead. It’s not like you’re playing Hearthflame Ogerpon ex and Armarouge for the energy acceleration, or any other Tera to be honest.
Crystal is just a better version of Neo. Its extremely easy to find and also allows you to attach a energy for turn. Its common for this deck and Dragapult to turn 1 attach a energy, turn two attach Crystal (Dragapult can attack immediately), then attach a second energy for the attack. Where as with Neo you are hoping to top deck Neo or waiting to get quick search.
So in a deck playing Pidgeot, you’d rather have a 1-energy ace spec that works for only 1 Pokémon, over a 2 energy that works for every ex you have? Because of consistency, in a deck with Pidgeot?
I don't really like how his attack is worded. I would have thought I can't use the first attack at all in the next turn, but if you can use it after you retreat and put it back in the front, that should be worded differently.
Yeah that’s the most obtuse rule in the whole TCG. If you move any pokemon to the bench you remove effects on your pokemon unless stated otherwise. The “you can’t attack” is an effect so it goes away when you move to the bench. It makes sense when you apply all the rules but very little sense if you’re just reading
@@Skyace13 Ooh! That makes...a little bit more sense. I wish that kind of stuff would be explained in the online version, because I had no idea about it.
I was bullying everyone with hydrapple until i ran into a cinderace player. I guess everyones gonna be playing the rabbit now🥲 Also looks like you finally got the new etb on the stack
