Bought my Kioti tractor from Mike a few years ago. I’m in CT, he’s in TN. He’s absolutely right about having a respectable and trusting local dealer. My closest dealer is in MA, but unfortunately, they were less than professional. Thankfully, I’ve had great luck with my Kioti tractor. Mike gave me a very fair price with shipping. It was a great purchasing experience.
I just got a Kioti 4010 about a month ago. It's a beast. My dealer had 84 months for 0% interest! I got a dirt dog grapple & the front 3rd function added to open/close grapple. It all came in same 0% interest
Very helpful to those of us considering one of the fine tractors designed in the ROK. No surprise to see Mike from LSE. What an honest, knowledgeable guy. Wish their dealership was closer to where I live. I’d appreciate doing business with/ a dealership like LSE.
I have 10 acres and needed a 25 hp tractor. I looked at them all. Branson price out the door was far lower in 2019 then the others. Grant it I was paying cash. The weight of it is almost 50% more than Deere or kabuta. And it lifts a ton… literally. I also like that anyone who can change the oil on a car could change just about anything on it. The only other ones I liked were kioti and bobcat but the price was 5k more. 3 years and 100 hrs later and this thing is a beast.
I'm curious about what kind of warranty you received. I've looked at so many I can't remember but I believe it was Kubota that offered a bumper to bumper rather than drive train only.
Can you turn up the fuel pump on your 2515 like you can on the kioti ck2610? After it's out of warranty, the kioti can be the 35hp tractor it was meant to be before the govt got in the way.
I will second what Tim is saying. In middle TN. I have been looking at the TYM 1104 or 754 but there are no TYM or Kioti dealers near me. Only Kubota. My John Deere 4410 compact tractor has been a great tractor for the past 20 years but I need a much bigger tractor now. I can say from experience that one of the most important factors in buying a tractor is a dealer who absolutely & honestly stands behind the warranty and maintenance on the tractor you buy and that dealer needs to be close. One other thing, DO NOT buy a tractor that has plastic fenders, hood, and dash area. My 21 year old John Deere mechanically is running great but the plastic in the grill, hood, and dash island is falling apart and is so brittle that if you just look at it, the plastic will crack, shatter, or crack. The replacement parts are getting very difficult to find and very expensive. Lastly, buy a tractor with a PROVEN diesel engine such as a Yanmar, Deutz, Kubota, John Deere, or Caterpillar.
Do you know that the "new" Bad Boy tractors are actually Branson tractors, or that the "new" Bobcat tractors are Kioti tractors, or that RK tractors are really TYM tractors, or that Case and New Holland are the same and are really LS tractors? These guys NEVER mention that though. Here in Montana there's actually a Kioti dealership across the road from a Bobcat dealer ..... ok, a couple of blocks down the road and across the street. One's orange and the other is white.
I bought the RK37/TYM and found this out too with a good bit of research, and quite a few of them are running the same engine also. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous about this large of a purchase and going with a Korean made tractor when growing up in a rural agricultural area where it was al JD, IH, Case, Massey or Ford NH. After some research on TYM I learned they have been in production of tractors and equipment for over 70 years and their manufacturing and quality is considered to be on par or above Japanese manufacturing. Which I don't think anyone can argue by now that's not good. I looked at Massey's, JD, and NH and the RK/TYM just edged the others out for me on specs, options and overall build quality, and so far it hasn't disappointed.
Mike, please buy out Machester Motors in Augusta Maine and their Topsham Maine location. These two Kioti dealers need your business model and personality. Never in my life have I dealt with such difficult people. They drove me crazy with their lack of knowledge, decision making, interpersonal relationships with their customers, and criminal activity such as trespassing on my property without my knowledge. I clearly had more than my share of failures with my ck3510se which Im sure someone like you would have rectified proffessionally but these people made it unbearable and left perminant marks on me. On a good note....a dealer well north of them has been spot on after I left these jokers. More travel but well worth it.
KIOTI all the way who makes it dadong/Kioti. Who makes the others ummm many people like yanmar engine like Deere and others. I love my KIOTI and have zero regrets....well maybe in the winter would like a cab...but not really.
Had an open station DK35se for over sixteen years and I loved it, no problems whatsoever. I recently traded it in for a dk5320se with cab since most of my use since retirement is clearing snow I hope it treats me as well as the previous tractor.
I absolutely love my 2021 Branson 2505h that has only 267hrs on it at this time, but it has developed a leaky seal near the wheel on the left side of the front axle. My bumper to bumper warranty has expired, so I thought my drive train warranty would cover it, but my dealer says it doesn't. Yet the drive train warranty clearly states that anything "bathed in oil" is covered. I've contacted TYM though their website a few weeks ago, and I've yet to hear back from them. My leak is still there, and it seems as though I'm being abandoned and ghosted by TYM. So I'm not at all happy with TYM at this point! Is a front axle not part of the drive train? I say, hell ya it is!
Love the Branson 4815H, it never wants to quit. Very strong, and very reliable. Such a shame Branson was acquired by TYM, but I am looking forward to seeing what they offer. My only complaint is during the merger Branson dropped the Cummins engine. Aside from that, I’ve done a lot of mowing and hay cutting with the tractor. It takes a lot to bog the thing down using a Kvernland disc mover.
Hello, love the video. I'm getting ready to purchase a tractor and have been checking out different brands. Brandon, kioti, kabota, John deere and just recently learned about LS tractors. I thought the LS tractors were Prentice and a little cheaper. What ones hold I get??
Had nothing but problems out of my Branson. Had a terrible dealer. They promised me the world with a wire fence around it. And couldn’t deliver on any of it. Ended up not answering the phone for me anymore. Won’t but another tractor that’s not jd or kubota….
I have a superb dealer. My 400hr Branson 2510 punches way above its weight class. No problems at all so far. You have had some bad experiences and a Monday morning tractor.
Sad part is like he said with dealership KUBOTA is the worst if you are willing to drive 2 hours to buy a tractor from a GREAT dealership KUBOTA says nope too bad so sad you HAVE to buy it from your local dealership unless you can prove to them why your local dealer is bad.... Monopoly! That's horrible considering in states like NH and ME M tractor has bought up every mom and pop dealerships and kept their franchise but only sell Kubota.
Nice interview. I’ll be in the market for a tractor and agree the service is the #1 concern. Plus I don’t want to be locked into having to buy a manufacturer’s attachments. I want flexibility and options.
You guys talk guys like me into buying a Branson, which I did in 2017, and now I can't find parts for it. The only dealer in driving distance of me is a liar and won't honor the warranty so I certainly won't be giving him anymore business. It;s a shame that I can get parts for a 70 year old tractor but not my 7 year old tractor.
Why is it becoming more and more difficult to find small 20-30hp tractors that are gear based instead of hydrostat. Also why is it difficult to buy one without a loader?
@@surroundedbyjaggoffs because I have a 40hp with a loader. And this tractor will only till, cultivate and make rows. I need it compact as much as possible and don't want to spend a extra 5-6k for something I don't need.
All very interesting to hear what the differences are between those brands. I can add that it seems like TYM is sharing Tech with Deutz Fahr since i have a local dealer that was selling TYM and then Versatile for the Farm Needs and now he is also selling Deutz Fahr so with TYM and then Versatile he is offering tractors from 25-625 horse. I Partly think TYM and deutz are trying to build dealer base to circle the wagons a bit for competition. Since its not a big secret that Kubota is shopping for market share in larger tractors with their own design or using Versatile . And it been floated that Kubota Will Buy out Versatile or go their own way since i have see kubota 6 cylinders in the pipeline capable of 300 horse . Kubota is really the only brand that can muscle in with the Big 3 . But Deutz Fahr Needs little tractors help and Claas Has Deep pockets
Very interesting Randy. Thanks for sharing. Looks like it is for the big boys so I doubt that any compact tractor manufacturers would pay to be tested.
Yeah, you obviously haven't priced a JD lately! How about 25k to 30k more for green! JD will never be worth that kind of money! You can buy a 55hp cab TYM and a 25hp open cab for the price of a 55hp JD!
