I fought being a witch for years because i grew up in a Christian house and was told it was evil i always interacting with ppl who dabbled in occult stuff i am 39 now and totally embrace who i am this interesting i can’t wait to watch the others
WOW! We are both 39 and I was about to type almost the exact same thing. I have always loved healing posions but never looked deep until now. I realized my mother and her sisters are the truth but they'll deny everthing. The see it negative just wont say the "witch" word. We all know the truth.
I wouldn't be surprised if my motha and grandmother were witches. They had a way of getting things done and understanding things unsaid, some kind of telepathy. My motha could cook ANYTHING and build Anything. I get my product making and cooking from her. I learned the power of words many years ago. It was one of the ways I changed my life. I got some news last night I had to share, my sista told me when she went to visit my grandfather he and my cousins told her that my great aunt, my grandfatha's sista was into " magic". I wasn't surprised one bit!

I come from a line of witches who were shamed for their gifts and refrained from practicing as a result. 💜 I've healed and embrace my gifts! I proudly and openly refer to myself as a witch-not just to eradicate the negative connotation tied to the term but, also, to honor my ancestors.
It’s scary this has happened to the women in my matriarchal side of the family. Either they’re husbands have died, divorced or never marry. None of the husbands were any good ( sadly). I constantly tell my mom to be careful what she says…. I think she’s starting to listen.
I identify with all of this, even the telling my mom to mind her words because they have power. And with her, she always turns it inwards and it manifests into making everything in her life so hard.
It’s amazing that you said this. I think I’m a witch, my fiancé passed away unexpectedly. And every relationship I’ve been in the men cheated. The relationship normally ends but my last relationship the last person passed away

I had no idea I was a witch until a psychic empath told me I was a witch. I have always been interested in magic and such. But it was beautiful to find that out about me. What sucks is I call myself telling a coworker/friend and come to find out she thinks it's demonic. I was so sad to hear her say that she is deeply Christian so naturally she felt that way. Shame she doesn't realize being a witch is a beautiful thing. Wouldn't trade it in all the world.
I’m glad I caught this video I learned my mom was a witch after her passing and she had came to me in nature and in my dreams multiple times but after she passed it almost felt like she passed all of it to me because I didn’t pick up on my gifts and abilities until after she was gone
YES! Literally what happened to me when my grandmother passed. That was when my spiritual awakening happened, it was like the spiritual baton was passed to me through her and I have not been the same since. I now know who I am and have been back in tuned with my gifts.

All I know is that I can walk in a room speak to someone after hearing them speak for about 3 minutes I already know how their situation will turn out. It's really strange. Plus I hate going to parties now that I'm older I can feel intensions, and engeries. It becomes too much.
My late mother was a strong Sybil…beautiful…glorious spirit. She suffered a lot here in the earth prior to her transitioning…b/c she was shunned by her mother & maternal side of the family. My grandma was evil. The energy was so bad that my mother never really went to church & my grandma lived there basically lol. I broke that curse & it took every fiber of my being…to do so
Looking back into my childhood I had no clue it was always surrounding me. I would collect sea shells, "pretty rocks" which turned out to be crystals, I would even draw sigils. My middle name literally means Anointed 😂 Santeria runs in my bloodline on both sides. My father always called my Mother a witch😂😂😂

I found out I was natural born after much denial. My matriarchal line suffered rape and much abuse. I met a proud witch a couple weeks ago. I was proud of her too! She had some of the mysteries and tools of Olokun and Yemoja. I asked how she knew about the items she responded she (Yemoja) gave them to me. She was a queen and she was also divining via tarot and admitted to gifting eleke's. I told her I felt like what she was doing was taboo according to what I've been taught and if she was not against getting initiated she should bc there's no need to reinvent the wheel. A couple weeks later the queen called and said she has a possible Yaya! Good to see you too, you should be pregnants 😁
Yikes! She said a Yaya??? Yaya is a woman in Palo Mayombe which works with the dead, and Mfumbe, not Orishas. There is an aspect of Yemaya in Palo known as Madre Agua/Kalunga, but that system is totally different than pure Orisha practice. Good luck to her. Praying her Ori aligns her to the right situation to connect to Yemoja. Tell her keep it simple for now, and just visit the water with edible offerings and flowers.

I am a natural witch. As a child I loved making potions but I was raised seventh day Adventist and I wasn’t even allowed to dance. But then I speak to trees and I’m so connected to feelings and spirits and the universe just speaks to me and I can heal, specially I think with my food and dance. The very thing that was suppressed. My momma l dreams and I usually interpret. My family would do coffee readings /predictions but they believe is “bad” and practiced it hidden.

Thanks for the video. My mother used to tell my father that he made her sick. When I caution her on what she was saying. She would tell me that I love my father more than I loved her. Refuse to hear me. Over time she developed COPD something that there is no cure. She continued her foolish talk and eventually dies of respiratory failure.

Glad you’re back and I must say This is amazing. I always knew something was different about me and I didn’t connect the dots but I noticed that all the women on my mothers side are either widows, divorced or in miserable marriages. My nieces and some of my cousins have these mediumship abilities and other gifts. But it only got unlocked as soon as I started speaking to them about my abilities. I have premonitions and I have some medium abilities. I’m a gay male btw but I was always the blacksheep in my family before I came out. in fact one of my uncles started a whole smear campaign against me calling me a witch when I was only 8 years old. Also your moon series is what brought me to you. We both share Capricorn moon. And I heard that it’s a karmic tie with the mother. So I inherited that from my mother. She has the gift of visions but doesn’t say much. My father I feel is an enemy and his family were the ones who really ran with the smear campaign against me.

When you mentioned the power of the tongue, I feel that I have cursed myself without even knowing it. I definitely feel that my maternal bloodline has def had spiritual ancestors. My paternal grandmother didn't know much of our lineage, and my maternal grandmother wasn't in our lives. I see this as a form of a generational curse on my bloodline. Many blessings to you all. I am proud to have been born and raised into yoruba and crowned yemaya. When my mom was pregnant with me she said she had a dream that yemaya told her, I was her child. Like you mentioned, my mother has the ability to dream, speak things into exsistence. I embrace my gift to see what is coming. I embrace the energy that my ancestors have left with me. I also think it takes time to embrace the unknown and fortunately for us a simple glass of water can help clarify things. Once I started to understand the messages and I learned how to tap into my gift and allow them to guide my steps
It can be very scary. People who hurt me, even though I do not wish them bad, horrible things happen to them - especially if I hold on to the hurt long. I try hard now to just let the hurt go. Breathe it out, let it go and rather focus on converting that energy.

I remember watching the movie Beloved back when it first came out and there is a scene where Beloved is pregnant and is terrorizing everybody and the church women came out with all there spiritual provisions and prayed and sang and I remember my mother saying those women are very powerful because they understand and know how to use their power to get rid of the spirit/soul which Beloved was, she was actually a ghost. And at the end of them praying Beloved disappeared in thin air and everything around felt lighter like a weight was lifted.

I have that ability! I can bless or curse men who sleep with me. I've actually had men say to me, "I've been having a lot more success in love after being with you! Also I feel more confident." I always let them know that that's because I like them and want them to be successful. That the blessing is theirs to keep... But I've also been with men who treated me wrong and to this day they are still on the struggle bus. I didn't know that I had this ability until I was in my late 20's/ early 30's. I just kept getting a lot of feedback from the people I was sexual with and soon I saw a pattern. I eventually felt comfortable enough to claim it as a power that I have. Though I would like to be able to bless or curse without having to sleep with the person haha. I'm working on it!
