You are right about allowing people to pull you out of a relationship. My ex exited our relationship to attempt to be with someone else (it didn't go too well). Not long after (2-3 months ) she began to have a series of car troubles consistently. I had help her with 1 of the issues but that's it but hoped that I didn't align myself or interfere with her karma. Then a debt of hers in the thousands was recently added on to her situation out of nowhere. I just knew once we separated her life began to get heavier.

We may not have sex with friends, coworkers, or family members yet still feel drained from being in association and in conjunction with their energy. Regardless of us having sex or not we are constantly exchanging energy with each other, so what can we do to preserve our ashe from people who we feel drained by ?
