Absolutely love your collection. I'm a casual collector of tamagotchi myself and love to see other people's collections. I find it crazy how I can put them down for months at a time, pick one up and start playing one day, and all the sudden I find myself with an influx of new Tamas being delivered to my house lol 😆

Hi, love your collection ♡ a fellow collector here! I want to give some more backstory to the screw in the back on the western versions as opposed to the button back on the asian versions. The screw is mandatory in the west as there have been cases of kids/pets swallowing batteries and dying because of it. It's very important to keep your batteries far away from your babies/furbabies.

Not me tearing up over how cute that professor frog shell is T^T definitely the most unique one I've seen and I'm sad there aren't more frog-themed tamas! Love your collection 💚

I'm so glad you have made a part two and three, I watched your first collection video a while back and it gave me a lot of inspiration for my own collection. My first ever Tamagotchi was a Sakura Connection V4, and I loved it so much and carried it everywhere on a lanyard! I sadly don't have my original anymore, but I bought a Sakura Entama a few years back for the nostalgia of the shell design! I started seriously collecting Tamagotchis in 2020, but haven't bought many in 2021 or this year in 2022 due to scalpers. I'm about to make a decision on whether to purchase the Tamagotchi Smart and some SmaCards first before purchasing a Tamagotchi Pix/Pix Party. I'm still mulling it over as I would like to experience both devices, but both are expensive to buy in Australia as I'm sure you are aware as a fellow Aussie! I watched your video about the Tamagotchi Smart, and it definitely swayed me more to get one myself, but if you also have a Tamagotchi Pix, I would love to see a review video made by you comparing the two devices!

Love your collection, Sometimes the fading issue is due to the screws being loose holding down the chip and can be fixed sometimes when you readjust them I fixed one English conception v2 this way. Also if it’s a button problem with the vintage ones often it’s dirt on the chip n all you need is to rub some isopro alcohol with a que tip and it’s all good again 😊

I love these so much! I collect them too and currently have 2 running, a tamagotchi pix because I just got it for Christmas from a relative, and a gen 1 only because I’m so nostalgic for them!

I have a mini collection bc I'm broke and I have like 6 other collections😅 its nice to see people stick with one thing and have a bunch at the end of it. Ah I actually rlly loved the 4U + and the other 4U mixed with green and pink faceplates bc it reminds me so much of Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer, super cute!!!

i had the blue/green Tamagotchi with red/pink buttons i think still have it, it's a green one plus the Tamagotchi angel, i have loads of clones too, they were so popular back in the day in school in the uk

I think the 4U and 4U+ tamas are pretty underrated and I've really, really enjoyed playing with mine! I do think it's 100% worth having access to the 4U app so you can get extra characters, games, etc, because otherwise, I see why people weren't happy with it. Honestly, I'm even more impressed going back to them after playing with the Smart for so long. My favorite devices are the P's and mix, to give a frame of reference. (PS, would love to see how you store/display your collection!!)

just got a tamagotchi gen 1 for xmas! i watched your videos that night and then i bought a gen 2 and ordered a tamagotchi pix!! i’m so excited and i’m saving up for (and trying to justify ahah) buying a tamagotchi on!! love your videos 💓💓

I also have a Santagotch, but mine is the green one, which is my favorite. I got it 2004 at a Goodwill (thrift store) for $25 USD. I start it up 2 weeks before Christmas, which is also my birthday (Dec.11). The Santa is so expensive now. I don't know why mine was in Goodwill, but I saw it there and bought it immediately. The white one is pretty too. I don't care for the red,one. I only play it at Christmas. It was brand new in the box. It's one of the few tamas I have that I didn't throw away the packaging. (Jan Griffiths).

I'm thinking about buying my first tamagotchi (probably Tamagotchi Pix nature), but it's very expensive for them to be shipped to Czech Republic where I live, so I'm not really sure what to do 🙈 Your video is lovely and they're adorable! I just received my first Deka (o-uchi) Tamagotchi in the mail today and got to see your collection! I'm having a great time building my own collection as well :) Do you have the Mesutchi/Osutchi ones? I am raising one of my own and have the blue counterpart to my pink one. They're precious! I also have 2 4Us and one of them did have plenty of corrosion in the battery area. Tip for cleaning, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) works great with qtips and soft brushes like a very soft toothbrush, or even makeup brushes for hard to reach/delicate areas. If you can get 99% IPA it is much better for cleaning, but 70% will work also. I've also just gotten my hands on a blue Tama P's as well as the designer toy that goes with it, but waiting for the mail for them to show up. I'm SUPER excited to start collecting the P's charms!

I think the screw might be a UK law because of the batteries? So maybe Bandai didn’t want to make a uk one separate to the rest of the English versions x

The screw thing is not about Bandai it’s a law for toys 🧸 it’s the same in my country batteries are dangerous for children they can eat it Toys are very regulated in some countries because of dangerous part that can be swallowed by children so Bandai us and others will never get rid of their screw system 😅😅😅
