They're gate keeping my fingers!! (Tamagotchi Pix, Day 1) 

As an adult, I’ll buy whatever toys I want, and I got really excited for my Pix to arrive. Still don’t care for the touch controls but I’ll bring the thing with me nearly everywhere I go now and I really don’t care what other people think when they see me playing with it. I am also impatiently awaiting the Tamagotchi Uni to become available. Who says only kids enjoy and want these things?

If you touch the plastic below the buttons and not the buttons themselves, it works better because you're not accidentally tapping the button to the side.

on the Tamagotchi with the blue egg, give it 2-3 care mistakes and it will turn into mimitchi! on the Tamagotchi with the pink egg, give it 0-1 care mistakes and it will turn into lovelitchi!

Just so you know, you can swipe from right to left for the clock (on the main screen) and left to right to see other rooms. :) You can also swipe on the menus to quickly access the other pages, instead of scrolling. Very excited for the series, and welcome back! Also congrats!!

I remember my son being so upset that they didn’t make a lot of Tamagotchi’s that were targeted towards boys, and he was exactly right! Boy should be able to like this toy and not feel strange about it. Lol.

The buttons have kind of a learning curve. I've found that if you press the left one all the way to the left, right all the way to the right, and bottom one all the way down it helps (like half the finger on half the finger off). Also, I hold my finger down for just a second instead of tapping to help it register. The swiping to the side feature is actually really nice for menus bc when u swipe it resets the menu so you can spend less time just tapping to navigate.

Hot tip for us of the big fingies - lil' downward swipes work better than taps / presses.

i think its the fingernail lengh. i found that touchbuttons work best with very short nails because when they get longer u tend to also press down with your nail instead with just your finger. thats my theorie atleast

well i brought a pink one but i want a purple one well if u go on phone (in tamagotchi) and go in keep pressing A till u see a word Sitter its a baby sitter i think they keep your tamagotchi happy hunger or stuff same as your last time playing u use it when u need to go to school or at work

I would love to have a Tamagotchi pix. Unfortunately, due to the shipping fee and importation taxes, it ends up costing about U$D160 for one Tamagotchi, when they should be between U$D40~60.

This comment is so late but the touch sensors aren’t on the buttons, they’re underneath of them. Which is really annoying because it doesn’t say that anywhere really.😭

U actually did better parenting a tamagotchi when I first started. Also, one thing about the nick name option. They mean to enter YOUR NICKNAME not the tamagotchi.
