I’ve spent years in sexual and idolatry sins and I feel so dirty and disgusting now that I surrendered to the Lord. My boyfriend and I are re-waiting until marriage but I still feel so dirty… I have hope that the Father one day will clean me so amazingly like He did with you. Thanks for sharing your testimony.

If you have believed the gospel and turned from your old ways, you are already washed clean! He has already given you a new heart and clothed you with the righteousness of Jesus. You don’t need to wait for that to happen! I recommend studying the gospel to help you understand and believe that it applies to you! 🤍 my husband always recommends “A Gospel Primer” by Milton Vincent to help you preach the gospel’s truth to yourself and find comfort in it. It’s a very short book but full of truth. It’s also helpful to find a mentor or counselor who can help you work through your feelings of shame!

be confident in your own identity. Sexual manipulation is awful and so is emotional abuse. My father was a good man hard working and very generous, Except that he was very strict and controlling. Bad things happen to everyone whether you believe in God or not.
