My Testimony

My turning point was also to the end of high school, I knew I loved God but throughout I had a porn addiction, and as a Christian I began to loose that joy and become depressed. Towards the end of high school, I hit rock bottom and Cried out to God.i met these believers who were so loving and so joyful and I longed for that. From there I began to want to seek Him again and I encountered the love of God and I was delivered from depression and porn.

We all have different testimonies from the crazy definitive moment to a gradual relationship but they all can encourage non believers and believers as well 🙏🏼❤️

Oh sweet Kaci.....I found your channel by searching for Bible study videos here on RU-vid. I commute between Oklahoma and Missouri once a month and have been enjoying your study with me Bible study videos. I’m a fairly new Christian. I was born and raised a Mormon but left the church back in 1990 when I was 20. Was just existing and living the worldly ways. My beautiful mom passed in 2011 but she was saved in 1989 and I know was praying for me. I was in a very bad relationship (I could write a book about that 🤦🏻‍♀️) I had distanced myself from my family for close to 20 years but I know mom prayed and prayed for me and my salvation. On November 16, 2013 (my mother’s birthday is November 16th) I was just missing her so much and was in my walk-in closet crying and holding her Bible. One of my most precious gifts she gave me a few years before she passed. It was her 1st Bible after she was saved watching a Billy Graham crusade on TV. Anyway, my life was in shambles at the time. The company I had worked for (for 25 years) was closing the site in Nevada and that was devastating, and I was in a toxic and dangerous relationship. So on this night of uncertainty and missing my mom SO MUCH I cried out to the Lord and gave my life to Him. I honestly could write a book, no joke, about my life in general and how God has been orchestrating so much!! I left the relationship and God directed me to Oklahoma. I had never been to Oklahoma but had friended an older lady via a pain support group on Facebook. She had just gotten an old iMac given to her that barely worked and didn’t even have a profile pic ...I literally didn’t know what she looked like or what the house I would be moving into looked like (she was single and alone) but knew God was telling me to go. So in March 2014 I packed what I could in a POD, purchased a one way airline ticket and left my old life. I had to do this very quickly but also very sneakily because the person I was leaving was dangerous, but God protected me. In 2016 I reconnected with my best friend from the 7th grade who is also a believer and who was the first one to share the gospel with me way back in 1984. I had tried and tried to find her over the years but never could. Well, she was also trying to find me but couldn’t remember how to spell my last name. In 2016 she was gathering pics for her parents 50th anniversary and came across a school photo I had given to her when we were 14, and I had written my full name on the back of it. She found me on Facebook......and she lives in Oklahoma City!!!! I have plugged into the church she goes to and am growing and deepening my relationship with Jesus. So sorry this is so long!! I could go on but I won’t, lol. Thank you so much sweetie for your faithfulness and time with your channel. I plan to tell my 30 year old daughter about it because I think she would enjoy it too. Oh, and the lady I moved in with I now call mom😊. She’s like a mom and is an amazing person!! I’m praying for her salvation though😞. Her name is Michelle if you would like to pray for her as well. This is such a wonderful story! I also grew up in the church and always knew the way of salvation and pretended to be saved, but it wasnt until 5 years ago at age 33 that I had that encounter with the Lord and became born again. It was such a radical experience! But whether your story is dramatic or not, both get people to the same exact point in their lives. And that's a personal relationship with the Lord! What an amazing life it truly is! I really love your channel! Please keep it up! Even though I am a guy, it so encourages my heart!❤

Women studued the Bible with me made me into a disciple and baptised me and now I'm pretty much doing the same living out Jesus last words his commands before he went to heaven in Mathew 28:19-20 🙂 Before becoming a christian I was catholic.

thanks for sharing 🙂 some key points for me - went to some sunday school when young but not very often, met a christian in our RE class at school who left an impression of peace, in late teens whilst at university a friend invited me to spend a couple of days at a christian college near london and being a peaceful and happy place, then 20 years of nothing. Then sending our daughter to girls brigade, attending wife’s church cousin wedding listening to sermon having not been in Church for years, feeling increasingly lost with the division in world, then invited to attend church a couple by captain of girls brigade in autumn of 2018, and started to read bible in one year by htb (finished end of 2019 as read it wrong at the start reading only the commentaries!), did alpha, which was mostly learning, as well as watching / listening to bible project, prayed, amazed at seemingly impossible answered prayer - multiple times, watching video about Jesus praying in garden of gethsemane, surrendering to Jesus during a group discussion, surprised at sense of freedom, and joy, easter week / reading John spoke to my heart a lot, and baptised on same day as daughter in september 2019. Some difficult times such as feeling like Jesus wasn’t around, and then discovering that never leaves us built up my faith. This year feel more at peace, and find it easier to think of others more than myself, tho trying to keep my eyes and ears fixed on Jesus, as things mess up more when I don’t. I love Jesus with a passion.

Wow. I am just starting the video but thank you for mentioning how for others it's a definitive moment but to some, it is a gradual process! I used to be so insecure when I hear testimonies of other people being changed drastically upon accepting Jesus when I continued to do certain things even after. We really all have different journeys!! Thank God for His patience and endless mercies and love.

I have a similar story as you. I was raised in the church because my parents were dedicated Christians. I always believed in God and Jesus but I was pretty much just going though the motions. It wasn’t until my dad passed away four years ago that I truly 100% gave my life to Jesus. After he died I started going to church with my mom every Sunday so she wouldn’t be alone and it turned out to be Gods way of turning the tragedy of my dads passing into a beautiful story of me becoming born again. The Lord truly works in mysterious ways. I love your channel because I love to see other people sharing the gospel and spreading the good news. 🙏😇 Your story is beautiful. I was young and smoking weed I lost people in life had depressed but stop smoking weed and after losing people in my life and I had to move on but it hard but started thinking about life and spiritual things after losing friends and family starting to think more about life and true about what how life is stort more life than trying happiness in world things ❤

Good evening, Kaci! I loved your testimony. I am currently in a season of wanting a closer relationship with Jesus. I have grown up around religion my whole life. I have an uncle who is priest. He has been blessed by the Lord to have worked with Mother Teresa and still work with her sisters to this day. I have grown up around many illnesses in my life, my own and my dad's. I have a heart condition which has caused me to have 4 Open Heart surgeries. My dad had a chronic lung disease along with many other illnesses. He was sick my entire life, sadly. He lost his long, endless fight in 2018. He always prayed to God to cover him with strength and bravery. He used to go to church all the time when he was up to it. Once his sickness started to take over his temple more, he sadly wasn't up to going to church but I would always find him watching church on television. My dad and I were best friends. We had movie dates every weekend, did everything together. We were each other's strengths. During his last few months and days on this side of heaven, I remember sitting in his hospital room and praying to the Lord with my family. Since my dad has passed, I have wanted to follow his footsteps in his faith. I want a closer relationship with Jesus. I find myself craving it daily. My journey with Jesus began by listening to worship music. I immediately fell in love with Hillsong. This past year, I downloaded the Holy Bible app on my iPhone and I read the passages each morning as I sip on a warm, cozy cup of coffee and my dogs snuggled up next to me on the couch. I find that I have my best days, truly happy and just so grateful on the days that I read my Holy Bible app. On the days that I don't, I notice the difference in my attitude and my day. I honestly believed that Jesus guided me in finding your channel in my faith journey. He has such a purpose for you, Kaci. It is so obvious. You are seriously an angel sent down from Heaven. I am such a believer of earth angels. I also started journaling more. I bought myself a devotional journal. I have kept up with it every day since I received it in the mail. Thank you so much for always sharing your endless love for the Lord and sharing your journey on this earth with us. You are such an inspiration. I have spoken to you on Instagram from time to time. Good job Kaci. Jesus pulled me out of the party scene over a dozen years ago and I have been a testimony junkie ever since. And evangelist. I started my partying in college and kept it up for a long time after. For the past dozen years I have felt like the man in Acts 3:8 "walking, leaping & praising God"!!!!

I also grew up in a Christian home, church, and school and as much as I never really struggled with the “is God real” or “is God good” questions, I definitely struggled with actually building up my own relationship with God independently of teachers and classes. In fact, just this November I stumbled onto some of your videos and they encouraged me so much, I’ve started really studying my Bible every day for the first time since high school which was 6 years ago now! Studying with your videos even pushed me to join a weekly Bible study at another church, which I wouldn’t normally do as an introvert! Thanks for sharing your videos, they really picked me up when I was feeling very low 💕

This was awesome to watch, so excited that you posted! I loved how you said that God strips up us down so He can build us in Him, so true! I went to a university where I didn't know anyone, (which was part of the excitement), and I started going to Mass. There's a longer story, but like you, we fell into the formative years of our lives while in school. So glad you posted this, I was hoping that you would some day :-) I love watching how God works through others, you really are inspiring to watch!

I grew up in a Christian home my Father and my late Grandfather are both pastors. So It was just fitting, no major circumstances surrounding it or major whirlwind of events. Beautifull :) I just love when you speak about the waypoints and how every testimony is so unique, also how it started with your dad, God is just so creative! I can relate to that I thought I have nothing special to tell or an exactly date when my journey with god started but now I'am even more gratefull that he had been with me all along and for this special waypoints and trials when god brought me even deeper into relationship and realy build my faith foundation, even trough times with less money, uncertainty or situations out of my controll, to understand his plan his provision and presence a bit more, little by little. I even got baptized by my brother at a festival it was so special to me (I even prayed for a special event like this and I just knew It was the right time) For me now its just about writing those unique stories of his faithfullness together with God. The best thing is we are all still on the way. And there are so many good storys waiting to be written. When I get to heaven I realy want to have so much adventures and good storys to share and laugh about together with God :) thank you for sharing your story!

God has taught me so much about surrender this year and really stripped me of everything else I was chasing. So much loss but so much gain. I came across this channel by searching for a video to understand the book of Galatians. I listened to your analysis of Chapter 4 and 5. I also have been reflecting on my testimony and how I came to know Jesus. God works through all of these videos. Praise God for His marvelous gift.

Thanks sis i often questioned of my early age of 8 receiving our Lord as my Lord and Saviour also being baptized at the age of 14 or just because it was Baptist that brought me the gospel to so many things in my life. Honestly, for me Jesus is someone I have to always remind myself to come back to and when peopme say born again Christian, I think that I am a born again Christian daily. I know that sounds crazy, but my life has had many ups and downs and so I struggle with the Lord and my faith at times. I also have major depressive disorder and so on a physical/mental health level my body deceives me. I do know Jesus though and am very grateful for Him. He has gifted me in my life and honestly he gifts me every single day. Thank you so much for listening! Sarah

What a beautiful testimony, I am much older than you, but my experience with raised a Catholic, but my father passed away at a young age when I was 13. He had a hated growing up life. We stopped attending church I dk about I think I was 14 because I made my confirmation in the 8th grade.

Here is my testimony so for as long as I can remember from a baby perspective I went to church I grew up in a Christian household we would go to church all the time but I would hear stories about God like the flood and how Jesus came to save us but I never really understood Jesus or God or anything and as a kid I didn’t really have a relationship with God at all in 8th grade I was 13 years old this was 3 years ago I lost my mom to cancer and I was so angry at God because I didn’t get to say goodbye I hated God I did so many unholy things to try and Get away from God I wanted nothing to do with God and then In 2020 at the end I realized I couldn’t keep going the path I was on and I gave myself / life to God and I Got baptized in 2021 and now I’m 16 and I love God have a great day ❤️ I really hope that my testimony helps whoever is reading this to know God loves you ❤️

This was encouraging to hear your testimony and has made me slow down and think about my own story! Sometimes it feels so long ago that it seems unreal and I forget what Hes done. But He is sooo good and done so much!! He has saved me from myself, pulled me out of partying. He has delivered me from suicidal thoughts. He has delivered me from some addiction and is currently stripping others away from me. He has shown me my pride and my desire to be powerful and influential among men. He has taught me to trust him for provision after losing my job. He has given me strength and has been a comforter when I had to move away from family for work. I am undeserving and He has given me grace upon grace! Thankful for Him.

Kaci Nicole listening to your testimony made me think about my own life. I grew up Catholic however went to boarding school where I was introduced to many different religions teaching including different churches. Thoughout primary school we sat on the pat listening to our teacher read the bible and say a prayer. In high school we went to church on Sunday’s. My parents brother sister and I moved from Southern Africa to Australia in 1990. Where in 1993 I met a girl Suzanne, Kaci Nicole my name is Sean I should of said my name at the beginning. As it was we moved out together I feel I have sinned a lot in the eyes of Jesus Christ our Saviour 🙏. We had our first child a year before we got married. My wife at the time wasn’t a church goer so we got married in a registry office. When our children were about 5 and 2 they were baptised. The schools my children went to didn’t teach bible studies to the children a public school. Throughout this time we never went to church. Then my wife left me for another man. I was heartbroken 💔 I then raised the children on my own. They have left home now. I feel I failed them in their teaching of God I have been so lost from Jesus. A few years ago I came across Jeremy Camp his movie his story Love Kennedy and her story. Both beautiful stories. During my 11 years on my own I have looked for Love in others connection but not found it. One night a month or two ago. I felt I needed to go back to Jesus Christ our Saviour for has unconditional Love and forgiveness. I also felt I was the particle son coming back to his father after a time away and having done my own thing. I pray 🙏 that Heavenly Father can forgive me. I am grateful Jesus Christ saw my pain and has put out his hand to give me hope and faith. Thank you 🙏 for reading my story. Trust in others has been a issue for me to so I don’t have many friends. Hey kacy thnks too share ....For me i always grow up and hearing the word of God,,, But when i actually read the bible for my self is waht changed everything for me.....I always grow up hearing of heaven and hell but when i read i understand what God is trying to communicate to mankind... But amma make this short dont worry lol...Okay first off i realize that we are not in the altinate image of God let us say we are like broken so by that being so by default we are borned on the braod road to destruction automatic... We have to find the narrow road when we aknowledge we are really we ineed of the cure for our condition the bible says few will find it....Firstly nobody the bible tells us no not one is righteous...We have all sinned and fall short and it is not of works less no man should boast it is a free gift by grace we are saved through faith.... We can niether save our selves or keep our selves... Even in the old testament it was never the law that saved mankind.... It was Christ that saved every man to bring the creation without spot or blemish unto the father....Its just that they was before the cross and we are after the cross...You realize Christ was the first friuts of them that slept?..... There was a resurrection after Christ rose from the dead?....We like to try to do this too much in our own strenght we will fail i am not asking u i am telling you....Our righteousness are as filthy rags....We have to be borned again of the spirit in order to over come our adictions and dirty habbits... I like how u said paul on the road to damascus was turned around because he exactly points us unto Christ for salvation and remission of our sins... He was about the fathers business he did alot of straightening out... I understand why god chose him paul was so into pleasing god he didnt even seek a wife.... He figured that was a keep back..I i know his reward would be great in heaven,,, But this is getting long so bye we will talk again i am leon by the way take care...
