I was an Adventist, If it's not a cult let's call it a high demand religion instead. Christ did not make atonement when he shed his blood upon the cross. Let this fact be fixed forever in the mind.” This quote and derivatives of it appear in earlier literature, but I chose this one from 1898 on purpose. This is the year I have often been given as the date when the “Desire of the Ages” which is cited as the move from historical Adventists anti-trinitarian to Trinitarian theology in 1898. The Adventist Jesus does not grant forgiveness of sins until sometime after 1844 when according to Adventist theology Jesus moved from the Holy Place to the Most Holy Place to begin his work of the Investigative Judgment. The Jesus of the Bible grants forgiveness immediately upon repentance of sins. In Acts 16:30-33 the jailer is granted salvation upon his confession in Jesus. The jailer does not need to wait until sometime after 1844 for salvation, it occurred immediately upon his confession as stated in the Bible. The same is with the thief on the cross who was granted immediate salvation and admission to heaven by Jesus (Luke 23:43) and who also did not need to wait until undergoing the 1844 Investigative Judgement. Adventist Jesus judges’ names in the book of life and either accepts them, rejects them or blots out their names (Great Controversy (1888). P. 483), but the true Jesus grants forgiveness of sins immediately and absent an Investigative Judgment process. The Adventist Investigative Judgment Jesus is a different Jesus (II Corinthians 11:3-4). The existence of this Adventist Jesus is just one reason Adventists are not Christian; Adventists have a different Jesus. It is for this that I warn Adventists who are in danger of hearing these dreadful words because they are false converts with the wrong Jesus: Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Actually I believe Ellen denied the atonement of Christ at the cross. She created a transfer system that has satan as the sin atonement. It is a complex system that she created, but it hinges on Leviticus 4:27-35 where the Bible has zero sins being transferred to the Sanctuary on behalf of the penitent sinner. Ellen's Daily interpretation on the other hand has blood transferring the sins to the Sanctuary and thereby the record. Despite Hebrews 8:12-13 and John 3:15-18

The day Jesus rose from the grave is called "the first day of the week." The Bible says in Exodus 20:10 "...the seventh day is the Sabbath of Jehovah your God." So the seventh day commonly called Saturday is the Sabbath.

We are sanctified at the moment of salvation. I recommend meditating on Hebrews 10:14 and 1 Corinthians 6:11 in the King James and pray for the Holy Spirit to give understanding.

@@HolySpiritHeal Sanctification is the process of a lifetime, while Jesus's righteousness stands in our place on our behalf it doesn't give us the right to think we are so saved we can never sin again. Paul himself said " So, what, do we make void the law through grace? God forbid, we establish the law. " Since you have to be a sinner to have God's grace then you are never sinless, completed sanctification would make you sinless and completely righteous with no need for Christ or his grace. I suggest you go back to the scriptures, young man, and rethink SDA theology, it took me 10 YEARS to learn it while trying to debunk it, not just three months. Thank God I am one now and have been for the last 18 years.

Amen. I left the SDA church for years. But at the start of the pandemic the Holy Spirit led me to some RU-vid videos that was quoting the Bible along with the Spirit Of Prophecy and it was talking about the pandemic. Sister Whites writings I use to talk down but never bothered to study for myself until that moment and wow was I wrong to run from the church. Ellen White lifts up God and points us to the Bible as our authority. Praise the Lord for leading me back to the fold of the remnant!

I have been an Adventist almost since I was born and I am almost 40. There are certain erroneous doctrines but it is not something like what many people think when they see this type of video. People think of some kind of strange sect. To be honest, Ellen White is rarely mentioned in the services.

Daniel and his friends absolutely did keep the Jewish law, which was given to the Hebrews at Sinai. Their adherence to the Old Covenant law at that time is not a prescriptive order for Christians today. Regarding 1 Thessalonians 4:13, the Bible does refer to death as sleep, but if taken in context with the rest of Scripture, this can also be a figurative expression. Don't forget that Paul calls being absent in the body being present with the Lord. In the very verse you cited, it says God will "bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him", indicating they are with him already. I'm glad you don't worship Ellen White. That would definitely be a problem! I never did either, but I did read her writings and believe them. I would encourage you to take an honest look and see if she passes the biblical tests of a prophet. When I did, I found she contradicted the Bible, prophesied events that did not happen, both plagiarized her work and lied about it. That's not someone I can trust to teach me more about God. You seem to know your proof text references well. Keep a weekly Sabbath if that is how you feel led by God. Just don't let it become your idol, or a reason to feel better or more holy than the rest of Christianity. Then it becomes more of a stumbling block than a blessing. Thanks be to God that I'm part of the remnant, 1Cor.15:1-4; Eph.2:8,9 and that alone for salvation. All of the social tares will end up at the Great White Throne judgment of Matt.7:21, pleading their case before the Lord and cast into the Lake of Fire. How do you even know Saturday is Saturday? Jesus says in the end days times will be changed. He also says 364 days are in a year. You have no idea what day it is because you don't look up for the time, you look down.

In many languages Saturday is Sabado, Sabato, so Saturday is the seven day.

Exodus 20:1 "And God spake all these words, saying" "words" here are correctly translated from Hebrew "dâbâr". Exodus 34:28 "And He wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments" Here the word "commandments" is incorrect as the Hebrew word means (words) from "dâbâr" again. SC-BDB Keeping God's Commandments is an admiral ambition but there are more than 10 and what was called "The Ten Commandments" where actually Covenant words/sayings to a select people group. God did list some Commands inside them and a lot outside of the Tables of Stone, Jesus gave us New Covenant Hebrews 8:13 and New Commandments, like John 15:12 and Matthew 28:18-20 I recommend get some software/book to help with discovering just what the original words are and what they really mean. SC-BDB is quite good for Hebrew. Don't use (Strongs) as it only tells you what words the KJ translated from and to. It is unfortunate that most Bibles still use "10 commandments" as KJ did, but reading the text shows Covenant wording inside. We should be wanting to be under "The New Covenant" and not locking ourselves into the Sinai/Horeb Covenant Exodus 31:15-17 especially verse 16 implies that to me.

I knew I was a sinner and had true remorse for the things I had buried for years. Well the very next day the veil was lifted. I felt light spiritually. The sky was so beautiful and I noticed ALL of Gods creation like never before and I also suddenly noticed evil like never before. I saw witchcraft in my kids cartoons out of nowhere and then I remember getting in the car and hearing the lyrics of songs for the first time and immediately knowing it was evil. The lord also took away this anxiety and fear I had been dealing with for 12 years. No more meds or panic episodes for me ever!! Thank you Jesus. May your name be praised forever and ever amen! It is nothing we can do to receive Gods mercy… it’s His grace alone. Not by works so no one can boast.

Then you haven't studied SDA theology at all because that's how we see the law of God. The law acts as a mirror to point out sin in the life so you go to Christ for cleansing, just because we teach God's law should be kept doesn't mean by works, it means by loving God Matthew 23:36-40 " with all your heart, mind, life, and strength " and loving thy neighbor as thyself " completes the law through and by love.
