It's difficult, I became romantically involved with someone who is associated in this group due to her family. Pretty much, the group ONLY benefits men. Too much misogyny, abuse and weird thing on polygamy. I tried tell her about it, especially listening to Pastor David Lynn, David Wood, Dr. Turek, Apologia Studios or J the Producer but she doesn't listen. She is blind because she is easily influenced. Just because something sounds appealing doesn't make it true (ideology) or right (regarding their racist tactics and abuse towards women). Praying for you. My husband told me on Mother's Day this year he wanted a divorce because I won't be a Hebrew Israelite. It's a very misogynistic group that preys on anyone who is seeking an identity. He left two weeks later and has now changed his name on social media accounts. He has childhood trauma and stopped going to counseling to continue his healing. This is our second separation, the religious abuse, and emotional abuse had to stop. I pray that you have a support system because I do not. No one believes me or understands what I am going through. I am working on myself and focusing on my goals and praying for him from afar. I found myself researching and scouring the web for more information on this group. The more I looked, the more depressing and dismal the situation became. I pray for you as you are going through this. Ladies, the church has different denominations where members hear and believe different doctrinal teachings. The same thing was going on in the days Christ walked this earth. There were different sects, Pharisees, Saducees, Essenes etc. The same thing is going on today among awakened Israelites and I think it's very disingenuous and malicious for the host of this podcast to lump all Israelites in one group and on top of that use the GOCC commercial. Not all Israelites believe the same just like not all Jew-ish people believe the same but I don't see him calling them a sect or binging a Messianic Jew who believe upon Christ on his show to degrade the Orthodox Jew (who reject Christ). I'm a member of GOCC and have been for the past two years, however The Most High called me out of mainstream Christianity 2 years prior. I haven't discarded all the good things I learned for over 12 years in church but what I have learned since leaving has made my walk in Christ even better because I no longer follow The paganistic teachings and practices of mainstream church but the word of GOD as it is written and try my best daily to walk in the attitude and love of Christ which is what GOCC teach. You ladies would do well to check GOCC out for yourself. My daughters are now currently involved in this. They dont believe Jesus is the Son of God, that Salvation is for everybody and that our white brother and sisters will be slaves to us. Also, they're moving to the Philippines because the person whose head claims that God told them to move there because America(Babylon) will fall soon. This has really been hard for me. My oldest has all of my grandbabies (6), and the thought of losing my entire family is so sad. They are actually going to follow the law back in Moses' days. They plan on sacrificing animals to God, carrying out stoning if laws are broken, etc. I pray every day that God delivers them. One of my friends went to their church and she experienced a spirit of control. The Holy Spirit was not in that place and when she wanted to leave, they tried to hold her there. The women even refer to the men as lord. Very cultish and they idolize bloodlines and skin color. They scream on the corners about history lessons, twist scriptures, and don’t mention anything about what to do to be saved other than to keep the commandments and be of the bloodline.

I get approached quite a few times by men who end up being these crazies. I think when they see me, they see someone that matches their idea of a BW and may think Im easily influenced. You can tell when talking to them they are so stucked in. I feels like all these conspiracies they have stem from insecurity and the community they built is a coping mechanism for whatever they are dealing with individually. Glad I finally came across this. These groups have approached my husband numerous times. They finally approached me in a grocery store parking lot & I was shocked bc im mixed. My moms ancestors were mostly from Germany & Switzerland. My Dad was a black Choctaw indian. Im guessing my locs is what gave them the idea I would be attracted to their doctrine. I left religion long ago bc all of them have some forms of lies & misinformation that is being spread. My Dad raised me as a Christian, specifically the Church of Christ. But once he passed & I realized how many scandals were in the church, I began to dig deeper into spirituality. I believe Jesus was an enlightened individual who tried to remind of us of who we truly are. Do I believe he is God? No. But the way he moved shows that he was OF GOD. I believe this world has been taken over by evil forces. Forces that can move through anyone regardless of skin color, bloodline, etc, just like the force of God can move throught anyone! Its all about whats truly in your soul. Jesus wanted us to know that the force which we call God lives in all of us & is more powerful than anything if we use it correctly. I now live my life by trying my best to be a good person despite the bs that is thrown at me. I do right by others as long as they do right by me. I have studied various religious teachings throughout the last 5 years & have came to the conclusion that each one has a bit of truth in it.. If we could just piece them all together, we may be able to find the truth. However racial divides & religious tactics that are used as a division amongst people wont allow this bc everyone wants their religion to be THE ONE. Christianity speaks against of lot of things that I have naturally been able to do all of my life.. that they would label as "witchcraft". Ive had prophetic dreams, I can astral travel, I've had communications with the dead. For a long time I thought that there was something wrong with me, the devil was trying to get me, etc. When in reality, I had no control over these things. I was just spiritually sensitive. By embracing myself & working on my inner spirit, learning how to ground myself & protect my energy, I have been able to heal myself of depression, became more self-aware than I've ever been, have recognized my wrongs & did my best to correct them. Religion did none of this for me. It just made me feel like something was wrong with me. Like I was consistently being punished for things I had absolutely no control over. So thank you for this bc about 5 yrs ago I may have fell into this cult simply bc I was searching for the truth in all of the wrong places & just wanted to feel like I belonged somewhere.

My sister follows IOG. She's part of Pastor Buie's congregation in Chicago. She keeps calling this foolishness that she believes in "the truth" like the Jehovah's Witness say about their religion. I just pray she returns back to God. She's been part of Israel of god for a few years now.

What’s so frustrating is that folks are evangelizing but most folks will not receive the truth as easily as they love to receive a lie. I have shared the gospel with many family members and they reject the gospel but soon as a dude in a ninja suit hollering Peace God and read KJV they run and become Hebrew Israelites. However, it would be insane to say everyone in America who believes they are Hebrew are being “mind-controlled” or persuaded by perfidious and dubious doctrine. At his young age, I believe this was more than likely the case but there are grown people in their 40s in 50s who are not so easily persuaded and have arrived at the conclusion that they are descendants of the Hebrews who were exiled from Jerusalem in 70 ad. Salvation for Israel only is a popular sentiment among the camps, but most Hebrew Israelites that are not in the camps believe salvation is for all. I was with a Hebrew Israelite man and I never felt complete peace. I had been with him for about 8 months, within these 8 months I started to believe some of the delusions he was teaching me. He was angry a-lot and would always blame me for getting him angry saying I need to obey him in everything. I tried to understand it, but I couldn’t believe God wanted me in that? I’m just here to get a second viewpoint.

@@AW-vf2du In my opinion which is based on my belief that God is Perfect and all knowing, the new Testament cannot be acknowledged because if you believe that God is Perfect then you should know God meant what was said in his first message, the old Testament. God already knew the future when he gave us the old Testament so everything that needed to be said was said, there would never be a need for a new Testament. For that reason I believe the new Testament is an attempt by children of the Great Deceiver trying to write their way into God's Grace and share an inheritance that doesn't belong to them. They might be able to undercut and steal from God's children on Earth but that's as far as it goes. This is a very important topic that needs to be discussed. As black Christians, it is especially rough for us as there is not only the cults led by white evangelicals we have to deal with, but cults led by black folks looking for alternatives from the white cults. So many of our people are becoming BHI's and Hoteps (a black conscious community that believes in the old Kemetic/Egyptian gods being the original that all black people worshipped). I don't expect these sins to be overcome by the square focus on these things (indeed only Christ can help us overcome that). What I am speaking on is just truth, and the will to discuss such an often uncomfortable and sensitive topic. So many believe and follow in these particular cults because they simply do not know history. By discussing it, people won't be so easily ensnared by them. A stumbling block is removed. I and some of my colleagues have had success in breaking down those barriers by simply answering the questions that are generally unknown to the masses or go unanswered. The apprehension to Christ for many is simply because they feel isolated from Him without truly understanding that Christ is for all humanity, not just for a single nation/people. Trying to do it any other way is trying to use a broken lamp to light a room. The methods fallen men take to reprimand others regarding moral issues is useless. That's all I'm saying. Not disagreeing that they are real issues of racism that must be addressed. Sin is eradicated when christians are actually living in obedience to God's word. I am an Israelite and i also stopped listening to these 1 west camps, and their ethnicity based doctrine. The gospel of Christ should be magnified above race and color, and all who accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior are sharers and partakers of the promise of Abraham. I am not against observing the law, feasts, and customs culturally, but legalistically that is a problem, because Christ gave us freedom from the law... Big662 I don't feel like Christianity is a cult. I've been in a cult before, born and raised and it's nothing similar to that. So it does not surprise me my brother fell into this type of religion. And he was also into conspiracy theories, so this cult took him fast. And since I was a new christian I wasn't able to fully convey the gospel. So I actually text Cultish about 14 months ago to find out the teachings of this reglion. All I can do is pray and keep trying to show truth and love to him. And the hebrew israelites he is involved with also use the books of mormon. It blew my mind how they entangle all this books together.

Why would Jesus say to make disciples of all nations, which means they will be "saved" but then say all nations would be ruled with a rod of iron and broken into pieces? I'd hate to be saved to just be broken.

Fair question, the truth that you speak of is prophesy fulfilling, the gospel of Christ was still being preached by gentiles mostly, fulfilling another prophecy Christ spoke, many will come & deceive many. The thing is the Hebrew Israelites don’t focus on Jesus Christ though. Every chance they get they push ethnicity. However only the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. In first Corinthians 15 The gospel of Jesus Christ is laid out clearly. Belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of The Messiah is the only way to salvation. However you’re the same as many others I’ve encountered. You’re not focused on the new covenant of Jesus Christ. You lead people to the old covenant on Sinai which wrote the law on tables of stone as opposed to the new which writes the law on the heart by The Spirit. There are many sabbath keepers that are lost because they don’t believe in Jesus Christ. The Father has purposed to gather the scattered of Israel and all nations together by His Son (Isaiah 49:6) but you focus on things that have far lesser glory than the gospel and have no power to save. Jesus said Iam the way, the truth and the life. None come unto The Father but by Me yet you’re over here pushing the sabbath rather than Jesus. The Father said this is My Beloved Son hear Him.
Some of what the Hebrew Israelites teach is true. As an African American I took the ancestry DNA test and it showed that I have Jewish ancestry along with West African and some European.

I just typed in Hebrew Israelites here on RU-vid and I didn't have to listen to anything. The thumbnails said it all! It was mostly titled things like, HI vs Muslim, HI vs Hsam, HI vs Christian, muslim full of Anger, I out screamed a HI!, HI's are racist, etc etc etc. It was all negativity and their faces said it all. Full of anger, pride, self righteousness, etc. None of these people are humble or come with love to debate each other. Both sides were full of demons, I could see it all over them.
