Hey Paul Thanks again. Like I said, there's always someone for everyone. We were just really lucky that it happened so quickly for us. Oh, but it did take 47 years before we actually met. :-)
Great videos Brad I wish you and Ta a fantastic life together and may the Buddha bless you. I am looking forward to the new year and my return to Thailand and hopefully to stay. Do you have anymore plans for more cooking videos, I really enjoyed the ones you did do.
You and Ta have a great relationship/marrige positive vibes! My dad and lek are married today for 12,5 years and are togheter for over 24 years and living in isaan whit my sister of 19years old she studys at khon khaen university! Myself i will retire next year and move to isaan I cant wait for that moment.i have been traveling to thailand on and of now for over 27year 1990 november was the first time i traveld whit my dad. I wish you both many many beauthiful years togheter and keep the fun vloggs up 👍😊👍
G'Day David We both had a lot of adapting to do, but we were building on the same core values and belief system. Life in a new marriage can be a challenge and adding a new country as well can also bring up many challenges. But we face everything together. Thanks for your comments.
Love how you two tell it in a more realistic way than most. So many other channels don't show this side of a Thai and Farang couple. I discovered your channel just by accident and I have watch over a dozen videos in a row and you have an avid subscriber. And I admire you two, especially as I am about to be in a similar situation as you two. (met my soon to be Thai wife and will be relocating to Thailand.)
Brad, you are really a hero-- a literal knight in shining armor! ...You literally risked your life for Ta and to make your life together! What a singularly BRAVE thing to do!
Thank you. You make me smile. I love to hear that you both are happy with your married life. Married is really hard already, but you both make it work. I am a new subscriber and I love to watch your videos. Keep it coming. God bless!
G'Day Welcome to Our Life Thai Thanks so much for your kind words. Very much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you often. Take care Brad & Ta
Thanks for sharing. I lived full time in Thailand for ten years. In Ban Phe, Rayong. I returned to the USA with my Thai wife three years ago. We just returned from our first visit in three years. It is very tempting to move back to Thailand. My life in Thailand was considerably easier than it is in the U.S. I suggest you really work on learning the Thai language it will make your life in Thailand much fuller.
Welcome to Our Life Thai Thanks for sharing your story. A language course is on my list of things to do once there's some wriggle room in the budget. Take care Brad & Ta
You both are true example of happy couple. I went thru a divorce, even though we had every thing in life... but I am so poor when it comes to true love. I bless you both with my true heart that your love shines and glorifies with every day. I literally had tears of happiness when I saw this video. Do take care of each other because you both have the true wealth of life and that's "LOVE". God bless you both.
Good Day Brad/Sawasdee Krub Khun Ta, I accidentally came across your videos on RU-vid. I am Thai. Spent one year in Canberra in 1971. Left home 50 years ago. Living alone in NYC. I miss home and everything that is Thai. It is such a joy/delight to watch you and Ta going about your daily activities. Your warm/gentle and candid demeanor like a Thai and Ta's beautiful smile and innocent laughter are so refreshing. I felt as though I were home and not alone watching you and Ta exchanging good-natured banter. Your love story is so pure, beautiful, and authentic. Not to make the journey and not to fall deeply in love, you have not lived. But you have lived because you left home and made that great sacrifice by leaving everything behind. You took a leap of faith journeying to Thailand to find Ta, the lovely Thai girl you were madly in love with, and to spend the rest of your life with her. Your life and love story would make a wonderful and heart-warming Hollywood movie. You have thousands and thousands of followers and admirers. Not sure you will have time to read my comment or respond. I wish to write you and Ta more if that is okay. Khob Khun Maak Krub. Hugs, Chai Song/email: chai.song@hotmail.com
This was the most informative video yet how you both met. Eerily identical to how I also met hen married my wife. FYI, after we got married we too purchased our home in the mid 1970's. I was scared to death dropping all that kind of savings and only had less than a thousand dollars left after all was said and done. I was in constant fear of an unexpected big expense (new roof possibly a new heating system) but since we both worked things worked out beautifully. Brad and Ta...keep those videos coming!
Nice second part to your story on how you met. I lived in Taiwan with my girlfriend for 3 months and remember being sick for weeks when I first arrived so I can feel your pain. Great story and vlog, thanks for sharing Brad & Ta.
I love listening to your stories. My wife is a Thai national waiting for the immigration process to come to USA. I visit Thailand every 2 to 3 months. I enjoy your real estate tours a lot as My wife and I will eventually purchase a house or perhaps just build on some land. Take care and keep smiling :)
G'Day Brian Welcome to Our Life Thai Thanks so much for sharing. Always happy to hear of couples working towards a beautiful future. Take care Brad & Ta
I Love this. I feel many of the same things with my girlfriend there in Bkk, sadly I am home in US now, but we are working on plans to be together too. Thanks for this video, it hit home for me.
Hi S Peterson........hope all are working out well for you. Best of luck and all the best mate. Hi Brad, what a great success story my fellow country man. I am Cambodian Australian living in Sydney. It is always good to hear that my fellow aussie mate are doing well overseas. Best of luck to everything you and the wife through out your entire livies together.
Just discovered your video during this quarantine. So much good vibes from both of you. It’s so obvious that you guys are very inlove with each other. Love it.
I like listening to your stories so much! So enjoyable! I can learn a lot about Thai life, because i also have the plan to move there sometimes to life with my thai girlfriend. All your movies makes me love to country more and more! Keep up the good work!
Your life together is what people like to see. Keep making real and honest videos and you will have more and more subscribers. You are beautiful together. Both of you are very special people. Shalom
Wow. What a beautiful story. You are a blessed man. I have watched hundreds of expat Thai videos and no one laughs as much as your wonderful bride. Her never ending smile has made me fall in love with her. I wish you both the best for a lifetime.
G'Day Ronald Welcome to Our Life Thai Now you understand why I left everything behind to move to Thai. :-) Thanks for watching Have a great day Brad & Ta
This is by far my favorite video because it is about the two of you. Thank you for being so transparent with us. You both are kind people. You gave up everything to be with her and she gave everything to take care of you. That my friend is true love. 32 years with my wife, I can say that is I love her more every day, just like you two. 🤗🤗🤗
Recently subscribed, maby will help you guys onto 4000subs.Don't quit the coupons lol.You guys are a cute couple, the wife contributes a bit more to that statement. The matching shirts should be your trademark. 555 wish you guys well, great vlog site.
These videos, part 1 and 2 are exactly what I have been looking for. I have met my Thai woman already and will visit for the first time in December, I can't wait to actually meet her, we are both very excited. Your videos give me hope for a brighter future. Cheers from the United States!
Haha, I got registered with my Thai wife last year end and just started to save money for our marriage. Been through the high and low especially financial problem and here we are still being together. Currently staying in my home country, she is lonely and boring here but we been making through this for a year and will last till the end :)
Hi guys. I'm a Sydney fella with a Thai wife. Met my wife 2015 married 2017 still live in Sydney. We will base ourselves in Ubon Ratchathani. I draw so many parallels with you guys. Keep up the videos.
Hi! Brad & Ta, Thanks for sharing glimpses of your happy life. It's refreshing and enjoyable to view your love and devotion to each other. I've been contemplating for over a month now on whether to try starting up a vlog too. Probably mainly focused on cooking and eating experiences, but also the unique differences in living in Thailand. Any tips for someone starting at zero?
G'Day Brian Don't be scared, don't be shy and don't even think about the people that might be staring at you when you video. Just do it. Your viewers will grow as your experience grows. The most important tip is to have fun, people want to share in something that is fun.
A very frank and open video, thanks for sharing you life with us. I really enjoy this channel and with the varied content can only see it growing. Good luck and best wishes to you both.
Hi guys I started watching your channel last week and I've enjoyed catching up with your videos. I really enjoy the videos I'm also married to a Thai girl but we are living in Ireland right now. We hope to move to Thailand in a few years so watching you has been really good for me. Although we probably will live in Prachinburi & not Bangkok. Keep up the great videos they really make my day. Ade
Really enjoyed hearing about your early days together. Great having contribution from Ta........and that infectious laugh!! Keep up the good work guys.
I enjoyed the video, Brad & Ta! Great love story filled with tough challenges and eventually a good ending. I want to wish you both much future success - you definitely deserve it! :)

Thanks for another fun and informative video Brad...I love watching how you and Ta interact with each other...it's easy to see the love you have for each other..❤️ you said how you and Ta didn't know each other very long before you got married, but you just knew you loved each other...my husband and I met when we were at boot camp ( Canadian military) and we didn't know each other very long before we married because it could be easier to get posted to the same base if we were married....we fell in love the first time we met at the firing range...he offered to clean my rifle, what a guy...❤️ we will be married 41 years this coming December the 4th...wishing you and Ta, many, many, happy years..🤗
Hey Tamara I love your story. That's so cool. A girl normally has to be so careful when a guy offers to clean her rifle. haha Thanks for your best wishes. Always great to hear from you. Take care Brad & Ta
I enjoyed watching these two videos, as the story is similar to mine. My wife is a Chinese Malaysian but now lives in the States with me. We go back every two years and often visit Thailand as well. We have two beautiful children and a good life. Good luck for continued happiness
I'm a 63 years old man who wanted to come to thailand with my wife and looked to learn about Thailand and that was how i "met" you both and fell in love !! you are a speciall couple ' so good hearted and so mature in therr life ' i really love yuo both' watch all your clips and wish you all the best . i know now that TA is a ver spciall lady , smart , good natured and sexy and you are a very good hearted man . wish you meny meny years of happpines!!
Hi Brad hi Ta...another awesome video that cracks this kiwi up lol keep them coming...hoping to visit Thailand early next year for the first time...looking forward to it maybe I'll find my soulmate..lol..hopefully someone like Ta
You two are great for each other. You both want the best for the other person, and that gives give me hope. lol I have talked to a couple of girls. I always am scared when they start asking for money, and I can tell they want to buy expensive brand names. I have decided to wait until I move to Thailand, and take my time. I still have a couple of years to go. Luckily I will have a good pension. Great video!
Great Tom. It is best not to rush into anything. :-) I was just extremely lucky to find a life long partner when I wasn't really looking for that. A woman should never be asking for money unless you are in a relationship. Ta would always refuse any offer of money that I made.
Im indonesian and been marriage with my us husban for 13 years now still strong and only know each other for 4 month and he married me. So God is soo good to bless our Marriage. Your wife looks very good quality wife. Hope you guys come to Bali.
Very interesting video because you spoke about the reality shock of changing cultures, the negatives and positives of adjusting to transport and diet. Great that you two are so happy. Enjoyed your video once again. Cheers
G'Day Stu There are always 2 sides to every coin, I love living in Thailand, but I certainly wouldn't call it the perfect country. The main thing that I love about Thailand is the fact that I live here with my soulmate. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. So happy that you enjoyed the video.
You are such a charming couple. I am planning to go to visit Tailand with my husband, and them I saw your blog. We are spanish, from Barcelona. I like so much your vídeos, specially her sweet laughter. Thank you for sharing . God bless your marriage.
Wow, what an amazing story. Your wife has such a great nature. Quitting your job, selling everything, and moving to a foreign country is such a risk, but I bet you haven't regretted it once. I can see you have found true love. You both look so happy together. I can only hope to find such a woman. Thank you both for sharing your story. It's inspiring to say the least.
G'Day I've been very lucky and I wouldn't recommend what I did as the most sensible course of action. I had and still have, no plan B. Have a great day Brad & Ta
Hi again Brad and Ta. Just watched your how you met Ta video. Very interesting. Surprised you met married and moved in together so quickly. That would normally be a recipe for disaster but it's obvious you're both still very much in love. I think you hit the jackpot there Brad 😊. Enjoying slowly going through all your videos. I've been to Thailand several times and I'm missing it a bit. My financial situation won't allow another trip as yet. So I'm making do with your videos. Which help a lot. Have you thought of doing a sort orientation guide service for farangs when they first arrive in Bangkok/Thailand? As in arranging to meet and greet at the airport. Taking them to their hotel. Then at a later point. Showing them how to get around and where to go in Thailand steering clear of all the newbie pitfalls that so many new farangs fall into? I was lucky and my first visit to Thailand was under an old hands wing. He was able to quickly run me through the basics on my first day and night. The rest of my holiday i was off on my own having a great safe time. There's plenty of guys who want to visit Thailand but are worried by all the bad stories they hear. If there was a meet and greet plus further advice on the phone from a fellow farang. I think many guys would pay for that extra service. Just a thought btw. Oh and i noticed you're Australian. Someone has to be i suppose 😁. I'm English 👍 On my next visit to Thailand. I'd like to touch base with you and Ta and buy you both a drink 🍻 . Cheers mate! Pip ☺
New to your channel and what a wonderful couple you guys are ,i wish you all the success in your new venture together, trust me Brad from a aussie to aussie you will be very happy with your thai wife ,i have been married 10 years to my thai wife and it the best 10 years of my life .
Definitely a hand in glove. 😄 I love hearing your stories, you have very interesting life together and oh you two make me laugh; your a joy to watch. 😉👍💖
Someone else said, "like 2 peas in a pod", maybe Ta won't laugh at that saying quite as much. haha So happy that you enjoy watching. Take care Bard & Ta
You guys are awesome, my name is Gypsy and I'm in Western Australia, my son and I love watching your video's, we are fans, we are coming to Bangkok this year, maybe we can catch up for dinner? keep the video's coming you guys, you are such an awesome couple
Really glad I found your videos! Congratulations to both of you. My (Thai) wife and I live in Australia, but hope to retire to Thailand once the kids are older. Your videos are really informative and helpful! 🙂
Brad & Ta great video nice to hear your story. I have a Filipino girl friend for 3 1/2 years and I feel fortunate also. One thing I noticed about Ta is she's a very warm person lucky you. Take care
I met a wonderful Thai Lady in 2015 (the sister of my neighbour in the UK). The story of myself and Pu is too long for here. We married last year and she came back to the UK with me to help me to dispose of all I own. On March 28th I leave my home in the hands of an estate agent and we fly back to Bangkok - my new home.
Congratulations on your three year anniversary, don't be surprised, if I come to Thailand and get married to a a beautiful kind heartedThai girl. I hope that you guys could be my tour guides in the future.
Funny. Especially the way Ta describes the tongsia ( from memory that’s what the thais call food poisoning ) I think many if not most travellers to Thailand have experienced that at least once . Brad quick question. Do you think your body adjusted to the different bacteria in the food preparation over there or did you choose different street food vendors to eliminate those that made you sick ?
G'Day Paul Nice to hear from you again. I would buy food from many different vendors and if I got sick twice in a row from the same place, I would exclude them from the rotation. Not everyone would maintain the same level of hygiene standards. But now I pretty much eat anywhere (within reason). I think my body has built up enough resistance to the bacteria that's present in Thailand. Even now though, sometimes we'll eat at the same place and both of us have to rush to the toilet within 30 minutes of eating. That can happen from food at KFC or a street vendor. Thanks for your questions.
Just found your channel. Your happiness transcends the computer screen, such a lucky couple. BTW, what is that moaning I keep hearing in the back from time to time? Great video!
Thanks enjoy your videos Meet my wife on Thaicupid amazing wife, family and her friends as well, her friends told her the same about me. But luckily after the 1st visit with her friends n coworkers they realize they were wrong, Thailand the people, culture n country amazing. Happily married love my wife. Houston Tx
Hi Brad & Ta, you have a great channel, thanks very much for taking us along in your adventures....keep up the fantastic work and I'm glad you got mental Brad and started volging.......555 only joking, it gives us a great insight into Thai life......you are so "Jai Dee" ...Take care, Cheers from Sydney
What a beautiful love story. So sweet and unusual that there is a movie script in there. When I married my now ex-wife she couldn't speak a word of English and I couldn't speak a word of Spanish. What was your profession in Australia? Ta looks much younger than she is.
G'Day Darryl Welcome to Our Life Thai Thanks so much for your comments I was in sales and sales planning in Australia. There's only 10 years difference in age between Ta & I, actually the same as it was for my parents. I'm sure that some people think Ta's more like my daughter. 555 Have a great day Brad & Ta
Brad, you are doing well on your video's. Have you thought of doing day tours of bangkok for tourists? Not sure if your situation allows you to work. I am sure people would be interested in you insights about Thailand.
Not sure that I have the time, what with creating RU-vid videos, my housework and keeping Ta happy. My days are pretty full. :-) I couldn't do something like that on a marriage visa anyway. They're actually quite strict on who can and who can't operate a tour business. Thanks for your suggestion.
You guys got married in two months??? I hope you guys truly love each other and if you don't , I hope you guys grow to love each other. Marriage is sacred and should be based on love.
G'Day Welcome to Our Life Thai Ta and I have been married for 3 years already and we still feel like we're in the honeymoon phase. It's like we were destined to be together. Take care Brad & Ta
