Join me in the second of four different videos where I'll be sharing my collection of theme park memorabilia and merchandise. Across these videos I'll be showing you various different items I've collected over the years from theme park signage to maps and leaflets.
In this video I focus on my extensive collection of theme park signage that I've acquired from various different theme parks over the years. I also share a closer look at some of the larger items in my collection including a roller coaster restraint, Dungeon stocks and the iconic Alton Towers bookworm!

Bubbleworks was the greatest ride ever known to grace this beautiful world. Spent many times going round and round on that dizzying water ride of amazingness. Those were the greatest days!

My weakness was always key chains... for several reasons. They are small and easy to carry, usually not that expensive and they don't normally break. I had hundreds of them.... sadly I did not move my collection to Germany.... but I had friends that traveled the world, so I had a lot of unusual ones.... like from the penguin tour in Antarctica..... and one that I did bring to Germany, came from the QE II from one her last sailings. You have a WONDERFUL collection.... thank you for sharing it with us!

Such an awesome collection Shawn, you should feel proud of it. I love the Wickerman sign and the monorail sign, I'd love to have things like that in my theme park collection, unfortunately it's mainly just mugs, magnets and resins in mine. I have a game room in my house and got a lot of signage and standees on the walls, all donated from my local game store, it's amazing what people throw away! It's a true saying, one man's rubbish is another man's treasure.

The story Bookland bookworm was my favorite attraction at alton towers I was sad to see it was gone but I was happy to see it is safe and sound with a nice person and a great youtuber keep up the good work

I absolutely completely understand your addiction for collecting signage. Although I don't have much theme park merchandise (I know, it's a shock and a horror!), I have several official London Underground pieces of signage, and also a 'Achtung Minen!' sign from World War Two! It's so cool to own signage that was used and is official. Lovely to see your collection. You're going to need a warehouse one day! ;)

I’ve been Alton towers once when I was about 5 and don’t remember any of it but I can say this is one unique collection.shame i can’t go Alton because it’s 4 hours away from me so I just go Thorpe once a year

On the price signage for Alton Towers,what is Towers 2 Tomorrow and Towers 2 Anyday ?

Before Towers did the season passes, they sold these tickets so you could return the next day for a discounted price, or another day for slightly more...

All of it was cool but I really liked the bookworm and the stocks. Also, I had to look up Galaxy Dove because it reminded me of Dove branding in the US. Apparently they call it Galaxy in the UK but it's just Dove here. Those ice cream bars are good.

I definitely remember the Bubble Works man from the ride, and I feel like I do recognise the knight's helmet from Excalibur- do you know whereabouts on the ride it came from? I'd guess it's from the end of the ride after you left the dragon's cave, as I remember there was a display of various pieces of armour along the walls, all of them had pun names for the knights (The one I specifically remember was for Sir Lunchalot, which was an oversized breastplate)- if it was from there, do you know which knight it was for? But anyway, I was quite upset when each of those rides closed down, so it's really nice to know that someone is taking good care of those parts of the ride and preserving some of their history. :D

Chorley, Lancashire. Not too far from PB actually. To this day it’s a great shame no one bought Knightmare and fixed it up, even if it wasn’t necessarily a UK park that acquired it

They’d just make new ones if they needed them, such as the AT entrance signs for example
