Amen! The greatest thing is to be right with God , I agree with you brother. And like you said, everyone needs to get prepared, because you can feel something in the air is coming
I bought a couple P17 the other day new. they have 3 mags each. and they are 2 bills each, They hold 16 rounds each and 1 in the chamber. extra mags are 14,95.
If that's all you're getting out of your AR Trade it off and get another 1I have a colt. M4. It will shoot consistently 200 250 yd But you're right about the SKS With stripper clips That would be my go to as well
So with the sks the tapco 20 round mags i think work better but my thoughts were to have it loaded with 20 rounds and top it off with stripper clips dont think about it as a way to change out mags faster just have a faster first 20
I keep what I will use for hunting and such, but no need in me hoarding just to have it taken from if someone breaks in. They would be disappointed with my stash. LOL
my hunting rifles are 308 then 7mm rem magnum then 30-06 and then i have a 303 british then a few months ago i got a 556 and my wife also runs a 308 deer gun so we keep at least 200 rounds for each of them but im working on getting alot more of the 556 and we both carry a 9mm hand gun so we keep buying a few boxes of the 9mm each month 1 box for target shooting and the other box is put up in case we need it still stacking up the 12ga ammo i just started the prepper stuff 3 years ago but have 45 years of hunting time put in and so far as 22lr goes have a few thousand rounds of that put up for rabbit hunting and it takes the same mussel and eye hand control to shoot the 7mm mag or the 30-06 as the 22 does so i also reload my own ammo so when i do shoot my hunting ammo i save the brass to reload them same for 12ga shot shells but with the shotgun shells i just reload the slugs and number 1 buck shot bird shot has gone up to much just as easy to buy that stuff
in an SHTF scenario id stay with a semi auto .22 , if by chance i need a large caliber a .22 can get it . btw , what's in your yard gnome (wink) ,, following me back in the hills would be a fools errand .. THUNDER ROLLS
I wished I'd have consolidated better with my guns and ammo. For example, I have an AR-15 and a .308 hunting rifle, but I wished I'd have picked-up an AR-10 because it's .308 as well. The better one can match caliber to guns bought the better in my opinion:)
