I am by no means a professional reviewer or even an amateur reviewer! If you want to see a LEGIT review, please check out @vCuda. He makes the best controller reviews imo! I just wanted to share a little guide with you all since this is my new controller and a lot of people have been asking!
I have about a month on the scuf envision pro and I gotta admit it gets better and better each day . Paddles were hard to press but I can finally build edit fast like I used to . Amazing controller
As a keyboard user used to use 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 for changing weapons could i remap these numbers wth the back paddles !? I dont like swapping between my weapons by just using tow buttons like console players
Two fixes.. The triggers not working in game. To fix just cycle through your profiles a few times and then go to the one you want to use and they'll be working again. As for the controller not registering in game simply unplug the controller and plug it back in a few times if running wired. Always works. This way you don't have to worry about iCUE.
I’ve tried everything and cannot get it to stop doing what it wants to. From just randomly firing till clip is empty to not being able to aim down the sights. It worked for two days no issues then boom. I took it back today and drove 50 miles on way to get another one only to be in the exact position. I need help
I'd try uninstalling iCUE (make sure to not save any program data/ full wipe) and reinstalling from a fresh download of the software via SCUF's site. I'd also try using a safety pin to hard reset the controller (do both). I was having an issue with the controller this past week where it wouldn't register trigger or bumper in put at all and the hard reset, deleting all profiles, and resetting hardware mapping to default did the trick. It may be helpful to troubleshoot the controller first and if all else fails fresh install. Also the controller doesn't overclock so make sure if you applied one to remove it and have any hardware control software (Asus Aura Sync, G. Skill Lighting, etc.) off as iCUE doesn't play nice with such software. The online user manual details resetting the controller (also available on the SCUF site as well). If all else fails you can always reach out to their support team for further troubleshooting. Hope everything works out!@@jBiLLiGaN
I had issues with mine after a couple months ..i got it for christmas ...i sent it in for an exchange ..didnt use the exchange but they just updated it 10 days ago to not need icue at all and its god tier now
Great review! Definitely set up your mappings in the "Mapping" section of iCue. The hardware mapping is exactly like you said so you can take it elsewhere but the mappings can save your settings for each profile you set up in iCue. You can then set up each profile for specific games and link the profile to be activated when the game is running so your profiles automatically switch.
My Envision Pro forgets its mappings and the triggers stop working constantly. Hopefully they update the Icue software but I am returning it until it’s fixed.
A tip for scroll wheel reset, instead of using the scroll down bind because its quite inconsistent and youll find yourself stuck inside the edit often, try using a keystroke and set it to something like shift or alt + e or f and then in fortnites keybinds change your edit bind to shift or alt and change your reset bind to e or f, you also need auto confirm reset but its basically instant reset on controller👍
@@thecookman2414 no, icue software is corsair so itll be fine ive used it for a long time and never had an issue. Its the exact same thing as binding the scroll wheel its just faster with this method the envision controller was quite literally built for accessibility and lowering that gap between a keyboards inputs and that of a controller.
I keep seeing low reviews and complaints about this controller. I looked on Amazon and saw many mention that the HW is great, but the SW causes it to suffer. Those that have this controller and like it, does the software get in the way?
Hey Rodey, I am a new viewer to your channel, and I just would like to say, I love your videos and I’ve watched a lot of them so far, your editing is good, your commentary is good, everything in your channel is fantastic! You are a very underrated RU-vidr and I hope you have a great day! 🎉😁
I've got one myself and I can confidently say the icue software is the worst part about it. I literally can't update the controller software right now which is a known bug since january, It's driving me up the wall! I will never buy a scuff again.
daaamn, I was hoping the touchpad was operational.. Nothing like sitting back on the couch and still having easy mouse access at all times or in game hovering
What about us guys that have already taken back the controller after a few days just to replace it and still have same issues. I can’t fix the software to save my life. I really hope Corsair/scuf fixes this issue. Because I love the controller. But they need to separate and make an exclusive app for the controller. I don’t know if I should take it back until they fix it. Would love to here everyones experience thus far
I hate the software soooooo much….. I cannot get this to work consistently. The bugs are annoying… I test PCs every day and I dont want to download icue every single time to test Fortnite…
I hated this controller. Returned it after only 3 hrs of use. Facebuttons are basically "click" buttons with no sense of springyness or feel. The back buttons (paddleless buttons) get pressed so often accidentally that you basically need to Deactivate them to keep from triggering and ruining your gameplay. I went back to Elite Series 2 and feel it's far superior. My 2 cents.
The main issues I’ve had with the controller are out of the box it had stick drift not a lot but still sucks second the controller is maddddd inconsistent because it keeps switching profiles randomly idk it could be because I switched it to the wireless mode and the last issue is the right stick of my controller randomly changes the input curve from battle royale to freaking sports games so this just messes up ur sens badly so u need to open the app and configure these settings but other than that pretty nice
@@riveriguess8986 yeah that’s what I’m doing even though I doubt it I think it’s because I keep switching it from digital tap triggers to normal trigger when I was playing a racing game so I won’t do that no more once I get it fixed
I have been using this for a bit over a month. My kebinds for this: Edit LS Reset upper left paddle Jump lower right paddle (a button) Build mode lower right paddle (left on dpad) Shotgun upper right paddle Sprint left s button (shift on keyboard) Change materiel right s button (k on keyboard) Pickaxe Y Reload X Ping B
it's so weird i bought this thing yesterday everything was alright and now if I use it wired i literally can't edit it's uncontrollable i now tried it wireless and it was alright idk what that is tbh
Getting this for Christmas and I was just wondering if you knew what size Kontrol Freeks would fit the sticks? I have a bunch for the ps5 controller so it would be nice if those fit.
@@Esco300 thanks, i have the scuff reflex and i believe next month is gonna be a year and no stick drift to this day, paddles still working. The only thing is the battery, it last 80% of it now. But I’ve spent approximately 700hrs on that lil bad boy.
@@kelo2462 so instead of looking up the polling rate and response time for yourself after being given the information( literally all you have to do is check and confirm) you instead decide to respond with “nooo you don’t know what you’re talking about😞” A true sign of an intellectual💀 WHY ARE YOU KIDS SO FUCKING DUMB
