Sir, you are one of the great ones too. Speaking truth in Pakistan is a hell of a difficult job!

Dr. Abdul Salam is the true son of the soil and we are proud of his contribution in science and technology.

He wanted this institution built in Pakistan for helping his nation regardless ethnicity but Pakistan authorities refused to do so only because of his faith and later on it was built in ltaly today thousands of scientists has been graduating from this institution and serving in the whole world If it was built in Pakistan we will able to produce more Abdul Salam.

We are so proud of Dr. Abdus Salam and his achievements. He deserves complete respect and no biases should be promoted by any Pakistani. He must be respected for the amazing mind he was blessed with. That was a blessing from Allah swt. We must all respect that.

Highly commended. I had the opportunity to meet him in Rabwah on 27 Dec 1983 alongwith his brother Engr Abdud Sami, who was my senior colleague in NESPAK.A short storyn book "pehla ahmadi...... Sciencedan" authored by me was presented to him. On return to Italy, he sent me some papers of his thesis and the book "Ideals and Realities. We exchanged a few letters as well. Recently, he has been included in ten top muslim scientists in MWL Journal vol 50 10 Ocf 2021.This is a great honour for him. I love him too. Engr Mahmud Mujib Asghar Rtd GM NESPAK

Saddest part of that after Dr. Abdul slam got Nobel pice prize Pakistan 🇵🇰 did not give him state visit but India 🇮🇳 gave him instead Pakistani only stuck in religious circle and lost great brain.

Prof.Salam once visited Calcutta University, I was not fortuneate enough to visit him. Still I repent. But many of my friends were fortunate to see him.

I have noticed that erudite and highly educated regardless of the fact whether they are Indian or Pakistani talk alike and preach love between the two nations. On the other hand there are people from both sides-religious frantic, jingoist and only marginally literate who do thier best to create hatred in the subcontinent. In India these people also hate Muslims and their hatred for Pakistan is nothing but the manifestation of this detestation amplified many a time. What I feel is it is fundamentally between Hindu and Muslim rather than India and Pakistan. I am Hindu and whenever I show any support for our Muslim countrymen most Hindus turn against me. My point is if only we could remember that God has made us just human being and not Hindu and Muslim or Indian and Pakistani for that matter our mutual loathing will dissolve. It is a fact that Hindus are more liberal barring bhagwa and modi bhakt than Muslims because Hinduism is rather a loose traditional practice than a straight jacket religion like islam. The only condition being a Hindu is to have been born as Hindu and that's the end of it. So we can discuss anything however against our religion openly. But Muslims are different. They will never deny the existence of Allah while we can easily walk away with our proclamation that Ramayan and Mahabharat no better than alif laila. Sadly, the conservativeness and religious fanaticism of Muslims affected Hindus more than liberalism of Hinduism influenced Muslims. We Hindus started acting like devout Muslims but in the process we become sanctimonious. Some vested interests have exploited this situation and we all have ended up here. If we leave our prejudices and ponder the present scenario in a holistic and honest way I am sure we can dissipate this menacing and vitiated atmosphere between the two countries and more importantly between the two communities.

What is the speed of Jannat? This is a wonderful science, mathematics and calculations. This should be taught to everyone.

Pakistan's soil is not fit for the science and technology we correlate every thing with the religion .Religion has no relationship with science our scientist always tried to extract the science from the Qurran . Quran is not the book of science it should be cleared in our minds that's still not clear .Dr Salam has to face the personal grudge of those people how dont know the ABC of science like Ansar Abbasi he sang the widow song on the TV at the primetime the reason was the dept of the Physics was given his name this is the personal grudge and level of enimity from science and technology and from his personality only the basis of religion. Very irony of our society we beat the drum of AQ khan whose character and capabilities were exposed with the message of time and time proved what he was but on the other the the most eminent and world recognized scientist whose services admit the whole world we drag the religion very very unfortunate buy not unexpected in a society whose literacy rate is hardly ten percent and awareness to sciences us much much low

he visited bhubneswar indian institute of physics in india in 80 he gave a lecture.

He was the diamond in coal .

We should remember the services of both doctors AQK and AS. Our youth should be taught about them and the high level of motivation/excellence they had in their respective fields.

Respected Dr Sahib, You know much better than me, for survival of anything multiple variables are involved, similarly, for social survival, Tolerance is one of the key element. I remember, I saw an interview of Dr. Abdus Salam conducted by Dr. HoodBhai at least 30 years ago.

I had the opportunity to conduct his visit to Brunei Darussalm in 1988. I was then Third Secretary in Pakistan High Commission. He had immense love for Pakistani. He wanted to build a an Itlay type institution in Lahore too but no body helped him financially. In the same connection he had come to Brunei but the Sultan there, the richest person in the world then, also did not show any interest in it. After meeting Sultan his comment was " Muslims have no interest in Science" He returned from Brunei disappointed.

Hoodbhoy is himself a controversial person. The less said the better.

Albert Einstein’s brain worked even faster should we start finding his love for Pakistan. This is no excuse to stick to him, even if he is the only Pakistani to receive noble price, once he renounced Pakistan for whatever reason he may have had right and wrong.
