If any of the cruisers purchased travel insurance with their cruise that has the clause allowing them to cancel for any reason, they have a high probability of getting their money back. Just an FYI.

Just a little tip, you should always pack one to two outfits in your carry-on bag in case your other bag gets lost or damaged so you can have clothes for the next day or two until they resolve your bag issue
Very true, may I add In addition to the clothes… pack your chargers, electronics, immediate hygiene items & possibly a pair of trunks 😊 for the pool. Basically anything you don’t want to go a day or more without 😅
Anthony, don’t worry about what people say do what you feel to make your own self feel better. Yes it a hurricane coming and you might need all that food. You don’t know how long you gonna have to be at a hotel. You don’t know if the store is gonna run out of food, you did right and stay safe
Exactly! When they announced the date, I was like oh no- Carnival runs this caper each year and rarely cancels but them flights aren’t on Carnival’s schedule. Your best bet is to get travel insurance.

Anthony, just leave the none perishable foods in your truck and take it back home with you. All the refrigerated foods you have give it to a homeless person when you leave the hotel.

You didn't do too bad with the over shopping. One milk, one beef patty box and maybe the cereal are extra, but options are good when you are staying in a hotel. Plus, in the event of an emergency, you have a lil extra. Most of those items you can store in the truck. Love you Anthony. Happy to see you doing good.

I always thought it was not a great decision to do a cruise during hurricane season. They’re inexpensive during this time of year for a reason. Luckily, Milton’s projected path misses Miami; luckily Leslie (in the Atlantic) has slowed.
I went on a birthday crews for my daughter in the month of October and we got caught in the middle of hurricane Sandy and Matthew, and we ended up going back and docking in New York for the rest of the crew's and the water was coming in through the ceiling and on the deck. We had a great captain and alot of praying. We decided next time not to go during hurricane season. Oh, the airport in Orlando have canceled flight's.

Too funny 😂🤣 this year has been a rough hurricane season. It's not like this all the time. Global warming has affected weather everywhere. Typically when we have an active hurricane season, the Northern states have a rough winter. Everyone just stay prepared

Anthony do not open your oatmeal. You can take that on the cruise. You can bring food options on the cruise as long as they are not open so take your oatmeal on there cause you’re gonna need that. It ain’t gonna be a lot of good breakfast options unless you want to eat other food, but you can’t take your oatmeal on the boat.
Don’t worry that’s the last thing Carnival wants to do! If anything the ports will be changed. We are Platinum with Carnival never had a Cruise canceled but ports were changed due to hurricane season! Y’all have a GREAT time!
You are correct it's more powerful than Helena in is going to be more destructive they should get out of Florida altogether the storm is going to be record breaking it ain't worth sticking around with all the debris that is scattered about the wind is gonna pick that stuff up in turn it into lethal projectiles. Praying everyone is smart enough to get out the path of this one.
The food haul is not that bad, because everything thats non parishable can stay in your truck and those beef patties can go in a a baggie and take it with you if you like them. Its not really that bad and those people that always have something negative and judgmental to say can go kick rocks. Praying you stay safe.
Make sure u bring a bunch of outfits. When I went on a cruise last week I was getting dirty and sweatier than I thought lol. Also be careful I caught Covid really bad on the cruise. Have fun and take care of yourself ❤❤❤
