My hair gets super frizzy and loses all its curl if I let it dry during the day. If I go to sleep with wet hair, its not frizzy at all and is super curly. I dont know what else to do😅

I personally just can’t do the sleeping with wet hair I feel like my hair will stink when I wake up 🤣 and it’s definitely going to be knotted up. I surely hope you find what’s best for you queen 🫶🏻. What works for others may not work for you and that’s totally okay!

Just remember people, the type of hair you have depends on the end results. Not everyone's hair is going to look like this. I have type 88c hair. The curl pattern is so tight, my scalp stays sore all the time 😢

It’s possible that’s not your type bc your scalp not supposed to hurt. Sounds like your hair is damaged and dry. I can relate. I overcame this by DIY deep conditioning twice a week + Aztec clay for several months to hydrate and moisture train. My curls started to pop , hair became manageable AND sore scalp disappeared

I learned that it really takes time and dedication to keep your hair like you said. Being lazy to do your hair will cause your hair to be difficult to manage. Making sure that it won’t tangle up the next morning can really make you avoid the stress for fixing it later. Noticed that at one point my hair was really soft only dirty and I have type 4 hair. It was not in knots anymore (or a lot) and I could just go through with my fingers with ease. Really happy to see that result

It helps a bit to constantly shake out your hair while drying and if worse comes to worse, diffuse your hair and gently stretch your hair while you do so.

Try doing the wash and go like the ladies above said and make sure it's dry and then stretch it with twists, banding, or braids letting the hair stay in its natural clumps

You give me hope not to give up on my hair jounrey and shave my hair all off again. I get so impatient when growing my hair back out that sometimes I just want to shave it all off bc I feel like its not growing fast enough but patience is key and I'm learning to have a lot of it at this time. God I miss having long hair so much. Like short hair might look good but longer hair feels just right, at least for me

Definitely low porosity, It looks like her takes and holds product well, because day 5 still looked like day 1. My hair is high porosity and drinks product 😂 and then the next day looks like I didn’t even use any product 😂 when my hair isn’t frizzy & retains moisture I have curl definition😩

Be Very Careful because your pores stay open for a while with wet hair. You can feel as though you’ve dried your hair completely but your SCALP is no where near COMPLETELY DRY!😊

So question still perfecting my styling. But what is the purpose behind using a mousse on top of another styler? That’s not in a hostile way but in a, I’m genuinely ignorant and do not know what the benefit would be. For example if I used a leave in and a curl custard with some hold is the mousse on top gonna make it better?

Please, if you are open to suggestions, sit under a dryer or diffuse. Air drying is sooooo damaging of a process. It plays the long game. Your hair will experience weathering over time and you're going to wonder what is happening to your hair and why is your hair thinning out.

Air drying does not damage your hair. It is safe to do. Using a diffuser will damage your hair over time vs air drying. I dont know who told you that one sis❤

Wash and (do ten thousand additional steps, DO NOT TOUCH IT OR IT WILL FRIZZ and I should have just did a twist out last night) Go. This is why I initially shaved my head again and letting it grow out. My arms were on fire daily
