When talking debuts one of my first thoughts is always placebo. I’m a massive placebo fan and was there in the 90’s when the album was out, I always preferred their second album but the debut will always have a special place in my heart. (Also, I just saw them a few weeks ago too, for the fifth time, still so good live) My next two choices would be portrait of an American family, such an underrated album with all the samples from cult movies and the more psychedelic vibe and then black sabbath self titled debut. That album is incredible and I can only imagine how hard it hit for those who were around when it was first released.

Thank you so much for making this video!!!! While I can't say i''m an expert on music, I do enjoy exploring all the greats and I'm learning a lot from this, I will be checking out some of these debut albums you've listed such as MM's debut, NIN's debut or Artic Monkey's debut etc. I'm a little disappointed because you haven't spoken about Roger Waters This Is Not A Drill, i thought you'd do a video on that but nevermind. I loved Drill by the way, took some amazing pics and videos! To be fair, I don't think you'd need a whole video to talk about your Drill experience anyway. Of the debut albums youve listed, THE PIPER RULES! lol...I think my 3 favourites from PIPER are Astronomy Domimne, Lucifier Sam, Matilda, but honestly i love all the songs, yes, even Pow R Toc H lol..... I'm actually planning a trip to Cambridge later this year (i'm really just waiting until it's warmer) and I'm going to visit all the Pink Floyd/Syd locations and check out Grantchester Meadows and the Cam river etc, can't wait!!
Thank you so much for watching! I’ll definitely be talking about the Roger Waters tour in a video at some point, it was truly one of the best nights of my life
@@marysmusictaste awesome!!!! yes it was amazing!!! i saw him twice, i was at the London on the 7th and Birmingham! I can tell from your accent that maybe you're from Birmingham? not 100% but i'd say maybe you are.. so I imagine you went to that one.
