My top 10 favorite 4k movies of all time! Dolby atmos dts x 7.2.4 home theater 

i like to practice aim in a video game. and during the practice i like to usually listen to music. but lately, since i got myself some 65" 4k tv, some soundbar and sub..building up to 5.1.2 system, my music for practice quickly turned into listening about 4K movies on youtube as my melody. i randomly encountered on your video. so i was like lets hear this dude out, started play and alt-tabbed back to my game. during the aim practice i heard your first few movies and i was like ''yea this dude know his movies...'' and you were on your list and i was like ''yea, yea...great movie...great movie...'' and you came to Fury and i was like ''yea i didnt see it, and i have it as next in line for watching''. and yea you're the reason i'm gonna watch this movie tonight. and when you came to the end mentioning matrix...and top of everything, you mentioned hobbit (i am among those people that have love-hate relationship with hobbit, but i love it more than i hate it. i just feel Del Toro could make it better if he was left on the project, but thats a story for another time). and you said ofc, lord of the rings. and i was like, "Thats right ma man! LOTR IS ONE ABOVE ALL." I alt-tabbed out of the game and saw the video and i was amazed by your theater. i hope ill make something like that one day. i just entered the home theater systems. it is laughable compared to yours. but i started it because i really really like movies. subbed for sure.

Great list Chris, I am a big of Gladiator and Fury as well. The story in Gladiator, the acting, the fighting, just an amazing movie start to finish. Fury has to be one of the best war time movies ever, amazing acting, amazing action sequences and the sound is fantastic.

I’ve watched a couple hundred 4K discs and I own a couple hundred more that I haven’t gotten around to watching yet, so there’s probably some great ones I haven’t seen yet, but my go-to’s when showing off the home theatre (purely for picture and sound) are: Pacific Rim The Revenant Gemini Man Mad Max Fury Road The Matrix Reloaded Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grindelwald Moana How To Train Your Dragon 3 Transformers Last Knight Avengers Passengers

Best demo for visuals in my opinion has to be Gemini Man, I know some people don’t like the 60fps but just from a visual standpoint it’s the best there is

The one thing with that Matrix box set, is that you have to go into the sound options and select Dolby Atmos. By default they will go to the standard DTS track (not DTS-X) and it is a huge step up to go to the Atmos track.

Pretty good list but if I could replace one will be Ready Player One with Alita: Battle Angel

Sick list can definitely relate. I've never seen fury but i do already own it on 4k. Definitely going to prioritize it now!

Thanks for the video! I wholeheartedly agree with MOST of your picks! Personally I don't like the newer Mad Max, or the Hulk movies, and I'm afraid I lost interest in the Harry Potter films before they came out in 4k so I won't bother upgrading from my Blu-ray versions... but you chose well for the rest. I would suggest Saving Private Ryan (for the audio), Hacksaw Ridge, Deepwater Horizon, and the John Wick movies as my substitutes for those. I like your pick of Fury and have an amusing anecdote... I had a friend from out of town crashing in my spare room while he was here for work (pre-zombie apocalypse) and we watched Fury when it came out... We were both blown away and thought it was a fantastic film... A couple of weeks later he was back home, and had been telling his wife and kids how great it was... They gathered around their living room and watched on Blu-ray on their television through just stereo speakers... LMAO apparently he's not heard the last of the let down for winding them up just to watch a mediocre movie. 🤣 He was stunned too. He said it was just "ok" without the big sound and HDR. I think that's one where the Atmos is rather important...

My top 2 favorite Atmos tracks are 13 Hours and A Quiet Place. They are extremely underrated. If you don’t have those in your collection, I highly recommend them!

Not too shabby sir! The Incredible Hulk kicks @$$! If you haven’t experienced Mad Max Fury Road, Ready Player One, and the Hobbit collection in 3D you should. The experience is outstanding! Also, I would love it if Ready Player two would be all about the a race competition. So epic😆✌️

Out of your top 10 4K's I have and love the following Gladiator Mad Max fury road (which I picked up for $3) Fury Aquaman Out of the matrix trilogy I only have number 1 (the others were a letdown for me) The Harry potter box set The Hobbit trilogy The lord of the rings trilogy (Which happens to be my favourite trilogy of all time it knocked the original star wars trilogy down to number 2)

Great list. I myself didn't like Gladiator I don't like film grain. Ready Player One also has a bit of film grain but I do enjoy the movie but it is only in my top 10 for audio. You might get more people viewing the whole video if you made it a little shorter and broke up some of your commentary with short clips from the movies. As always thanks for the content. 30 seconds a film with a 2 minute introduction and 15 second movie clip for each movie would have you come in under 8 minutes.
