Awesome picks! Love your posing too. Particularly on Low-Light, Range Vipers, and Scrap-Iron. I split my Top 10 into Top 5 Joes and Top 5 Cobra. Mine is heavily based on nostalgia. Top 5 Joes: Chuckles, General Hawk, Rock N' Roll, Shipwreck, Tripwire. Top 5 Cobra: Valkyries, Crimson Strike Team, Mole Rats, Ripper, Scrap-Iron. No particular order. We got so many awesome Classified figs this year, it's hard to pick 10 let alone 5 from each faction.
It's common to use scopes on heavy machine guns to identify range and dial in accuracy. Especially in long distance support. You don't want to fire over your buddies heads and guess where the round is going to drop. During the Vietnam war a marine scored a sniper kill with a 50cal Browning that he mounted a scope on. So scopes and heavy machine guns are not weird. What is weard is calling yourself tunnel rat, and claiming to be a confined space specialist and carrying a heavy machine gun which will be impossible to turn around with during a fight if suddenly the enemy appears behind you. Which is how sawed off shotguns were born during the Vietnam war. But more commonly were the 1911 colt pistol which was deadly in confined space.
Whoa! I didn’t know that. I have a friend in the military that told me this was a stupid idea they did for his gun so he agreed with me. Now I’m gonna run this info back at him. I like hearing fun facts like this. Thanks for the info.
Classified offers many options for a top 10. Personally the Dreadnok Classified offering becomes closer to complete with a new Thundermachine or Swamp fire for those blokes to torment Joes with. Torch needs fire effects. I’m good with getting other Dreadnoks but the three stooges are enough for me. Them and a vehicle.
My top 3 gi joe figures this year 1.Retro card snake eyes aka silent interlude vers 2.crimson guard, a design ive always loved to see in the hama comics 3. Firefly, great accessories and better than the first release in every way except the face sculpt.
You like the snow serpents and snow job? How hard are you anticipating Blizzard? That character is a memory for me! I played with that when i was a child.
Great list and I have to say you know how to pose your figures dude. So many other reviewers don't pose or rather cant pose their figures and that detracts quite a bit from the appeal of the toys their showcasing. You along with J Hernandez amd D Amazing are the best in posing i think...and to me that shows love for the toys and the Hobby. For me it's all about the presentation and imagination and not simply about how many figures you can shove in a shelf.
Good review, I agree with all of your figure choices!!! Except for agent helix ( Agent Cheese-Lix ) bad A** yes but all in black would a worked for tactical night opps!!! That bright yellow at the top doesn't work not practical for tactical night 🌃 opps!!! Hey everyone I'm over here advertisement is pretty much what that is 😢
Awesome! I’m so excited for Mutt & Junkyard. I know he’s already delivered at my place so I’ll get my hands on him when I come back from vacation next week.
Hey, Xmanny Love the channel man. Keep up the good work. I love your list. Trip is up there for me too. Did you know that you can store the second mine underneath the minesweeper head. Anyway man keep up the content thanks
Great choices. G.I. Joe Classified may be the best domestic line available. I'm tempted to collect them, but I have no attachment to the characters. I just think the figures are cool.
Scopes on machine guns have actually become more common, to better take advantage of their 1000m-1800m range. They’ve even been used by snipers, as far back as Vietnam.
Very solid top10. Small thing about Scrape iron, this isn't the first time we see his face. The modern era(1/18) had a removable visor to show his scared up face. Unless you meant to say his whole head, then you are correct.
Use a hair dryer or heat gun on the right Trubble Bubble canopy port and it's actually easy to get it to close completely. Just heat it for like 10 seconds then insert the peg. It's worked for me on all 4 of my Flight Pods.
It's your list, but I don't include Haslabs in a top ten list for a line it comes from just because it's super anti-climactic. It'll definitely hit my top ten action figures general list though. Other than that admitted nitpick, I love your list.
Good review, I agree with all your figure choices except for agent helix I just don't like the yellow top uniform there looks like 🧀 cheese all black would a worked!!! The yellow wouldn't be practical for a tactical for a night 🌃 opp
is most of this line based off the figure line from the 80s and the cartoon? what were you originally a fan of that made you wanna start colecting these? great vid btw
I've been really getting into this series but I feel like every figure I get has really stiff joints and I'm afraid they'll snap. I can't get mine into any of the poses you get yours into. Any help on how to loosen up joints? I tried hot water but seems like next day they're stiffened up again. Thanks for any help
OG Tunnel Rat was based on Larry Hama, but Classified Tunnel Rat's sculptor said he didn't base this version on Hama. I don't know if there were likeness rights involved or what, but that's what he said on his Instagram.
🤔🤔🤔 interesting. He still looks like Tunnel Rat to me. I was speaking overall about the character mainly when I said that than about the figure. But good to know and thanks for that info.
@@Xmanny87 Yeah, someone asked Fred Aczon (the sculptor) on his Instagram if the figure was based on Hama this time and he said "unfortunately not", so it sounds like he wanted to do it that way, but couldn't, most likely for legal reasons.
I have a top 10 list of why I didn't buy a lot of figures in 2023... 10. Not enough expendable cash 9. See number 10 8. The answer can be found at #9 7. #s 8, 9, and 10 are valid answers 6. You get it at this point
G.I. Joe Vehicles should be at a different category. Is the HISS Tank an action figure? The answer is 'No'. Do a Top 10 Best G.I. Joe Vehicles instead.
