Nice video!! I just got a phantom 3 drone as well. mine came with one extra battery, two extra set of blades, a ipad clip and phone clip, upgraded metal holder the you attach the phone or ipad holder too, lanyard, charger and nice case like yours. very happy with my drone as well. still trying to get use to it but i have had fun with so far.

Great videos! I purchased practically everything you listed here and I couldn't be happier. Installed the inspire 1 tablet holder following your instruction and it went without a hitch. I also installed the argtek kit and that went extremely well. Carry case fits everything perfectly especially after upgrading the controller. Please keep up the good work!!! Do you know if you can use the inspire 1 controller or the phantom 4 controller with the phantom 3?

Thanks for the content. I found a parallel battery charger on Amazon, since I found it rather inconvenient that most out there are serial, and takes just as long to charge all at once. I'm hoping it will charge up to 4 batteries in the same amount of time as charging one. I searched high and low for an adequate gimbal guard too, but don't like the fact that the view is potentially obstructed looking straight down.

Then Venom Professional 3 Charger, simultaneous 4 battery charger is incredible. Charge at same time each battery separate, so you can drop them in as you use them. Also has 2 usb's so you can charge tablet and controller. Will "hold " "maintain" batts in it. I have 5 batteries and when I want to fly long periods, I plug the Venom into my car 120v and just drop them in as I use them. Also I couldn't agree more, don't think you'll save $$ on aftermarket batts. Very hard to determine the junk ones. Great vid thanks, Think I'll update my antennas also.

Excellent video - you put a lot into it, and it shows. You have one new sub. I'm hanging on a new drone purchase decision (aren't we all?), with the P3 at the top and still considering the UpAir One V3. Your carefully-crafted video pushed (inspired) me more in the P3 direction. I really have only one hesitation: The UpAir comes with a glorious 7" screen, and the P3 requires a smart phone or tablet. I have an Acer Iconia 10" but it's big and expensive. Amazon has some $50 Android tabs at 7", and if one works on the controller, I'm decided on the P3. How and where do I find out how this setup works? The built-in UpAir screen is clear, but wi-fi? I understand 5.8GHz enough, but wi-fi and drones has always meant limited range to me, like 'selfie' drones you control from your phone. ARGTek looks amazing, so if I can get a cheap tab to work, I'm off to the races. My Hubsan H501s can be modded out to 2400m or 1.5 miles, so I'm hoping for similar range. Any tips on how or where to look for what I need?Thanks very much. You are an asset to humanity.

+marjamada DJI has a list of compatible devices on their website. You have to be careful, a lot of the older and cheaper stuff doesn't work with their app unfortunately.

I am getting a phantom at the end of the school year and i just had a few questions 1. How is the deterioration of the batteries because if it is like a phone battery I would get another one maybe.2. How would the case you have be in an airport because I have looked up a case the best called the Nanuk case and it is the best of the best because I know that if my phantom breaks I am done and not getting another one.P.S. JTO2GO what do you do about 'informing' the local airports and/or heliports before your flights? Also, if you have your new mavic, you said you would be up for more risky uses of the P3S, you should get into litchi and give some reviews about that program. Thanks for your videos, they have helped me a lot!!

+Yorke Jander I just avoid the areas where the airports are so far. But maybe I'll give it a shot and see how it goes and make a video about it. And yes, litchi stuff is on my list. I have a huge list of stuff I want to do that I just haven't had time for yet. Each video takes at least 10-12hours of editing so one a week is about all I can handle most of the time.. Maybe I'll get faster at it eventually or have more time to put in.

Is there a good replacement for the Inspire Part 45 mount, I cannot find it available anyplace? And in your list of equipment -- your Webcam link is back to the microphone link, and it is no longer available. So updating all these great equipment upgrades and additios to the Phantom 3 standard, especially for beginners would be really helpful.

Your mic makes this a channel I will continue to check. Also, your complete list of links is helpful. You should get a kickback from Amazon, you're one of the few that are worth a damn. My only gripe is I'd rather see the stuff and not your mug. Nothing personal, you could be a super model and I'd still feel the same. I'll let the logos slide cause that sort of branding helps me remember you, unlike your head. lol. Anyway, you asked for it. Still, easily one of the best Phantom related videos I've seen to date.

+roccot31 Peoria Area. I've flown as low as 5 degrees f. Everyone seems worried about the battery temperatures. But as long as you keep them indoors until you go to fly they don't get very cold at all and just the load of flying it keeps them warm. In my opinion anyway.

I like the idea of the part 45 tablet holder but in taking a look at the link you provided, it requires a screw mount in addition to the screw attaching on the lanyard mount. My standard controller does not have that top screw mount. Did you have to drill a hole or make other modifications?

+Tcho2100 they're expensive for sure. I flew an inspire that had carbon fiber props and what it does is make he drone MUCH more responsive because they barely flex like plastic propellers. But that comes with a downside of being more brittle. I never bought them because I feel like I feel safer with the plastics flexibility

Question. My P3S arrives this week along with my tablet mount and argtek antenna mod. Do you know of a backpack that will fit the P3S as well as the modded controller?

+Christopher Lee they advertise up to 4x range. The furthest I've ever gotten is just under 9,000ft, but I usually get like 3,500 - 5,500 on average.

Just under the video is the description, mouse over and click on the SHOW MORE the link is there. If I remember rite the seller offers 2 phone number stickers and 2 FAA number stickers or all 4 FAA numbers. Be sure too put JTO2GO in the promo code box too get the large FAA number sticker free. After almost loosing my drone last week I may order another set with phone numbers just incase.

The Phantom line was discontinued ...some still around here and there. Too bad good drone it's a DJI is plugging the Mavic !

Great videos Sir... I just got my P3 Std. three days ago and LOVE it... (you might have seen they were on sale on DJI during Xmas for $399)... I'm on a tight budget here so have been flying with my Dinosauras-Galaxious Phone (S3) = DJI Go works VERY Slow and Live Camera latency is so bad that I can't use it for flying (other than seeing, yup I'm pointed at the sunset 3-4-5 seconds after the fact) :( Anyway... I was shocked to see how inexpensive the Galaxy Tab A you recommended is but don't see if you actually used/tested the Tab A??? Question being, how good/bad is Live Camera latency??? Thanx is advance for your time and input...

+kcadby it's not as good as some of the more powerful devices out there but it is definitely usable and the lag is minimal. I'm probably going to start using it more if nothing else for the convince of being able to record the screen easier.

+kcadby the lag on it is about 1/4 of a second for the video feed in my experience.

+JT Wowza that was Fast!!! I know all about You Get What You Pay For but was hoping latency would be "acceptable" and for the price I would say a 1/4-sec. is OK, and thanks to You (again) I already went to Play Store and saw that AZ Screen record needs Android 5.0 which is a lite-year ahead of my 4.2... So between that, Quad Core Processor and 90% only using the Tab A for the Drone (won't load it up with Apps) it should be good :)

Thought I'd reach out to you since I'm not getting any help anywhere else but do you have a video showing how to use the follow me mode. I can't seem to locate it and use it. Also, I couldn't find any videos or information to put mu Phantom 3 Standard in Sport mode to make it fly a little faster. Thank you in advance.

I swear dude, you are the absolute freaking BEST!!!! You reply so quickly and Lord knows I appreciate that. Anywho, This is exactly what I was looking for and I did watch this tutorial however his menu options are different from mine. It doesn't give me the same options but I'm thinking it's the signal. I'll try again in the morning to see if that helps. If not I'm going to throw the controller and the drone at the effing wall (not really) Hahahahahaha. Thank you again.

+Levon Byrd Well thanks man, Yea the interface has changed slightly since then but I think the principal is still the same. I'll try it out tomorrow and get back to you. If you think it's signal try it out when you're pretty close and see if it works.

JTO2GO The fact that you update and haven't had any issues is part of the reason I asked about your firmware. Possibly add your info to all your P3S videos and then let us know if and when you upgrade to newer versions and if you ever have issues. Just an idea. Thanks
