I’ve heard that from a few people. I have mentioned this before but didn’t include it in this video, one of the reasons Powertec has standard posts is because they sell one inch weight horn adapters so their machines can be used with standard plates.

Awesome video 👍I really like the seated calf raises on the lever gym, I can get an awesome burn in my calves. I've used squat blocks to make a pendulum, tried that one as well, but I need more weights for the machine - it slid a little and I got worried, so I'm back to standard squats with it. Two things I'm liking right now, is reverse your squat blocks for a super stretch on standing calf raises with the squat bar, and another is using 2 D handles, the upper cable, and the bench set upright and attached , for support, and doing a kind of supported face pull. It's really probably more of a row at that point, just really high

Hey that 7inch bolt for the pulley is a fantastic idea. I also wish powertec had an attachment for a lat pulldown that is leverage based and not cable based. One that could be isolateral but I’m sure the design would have to be reengineered…maybe.

I really appreciate that. Thank you! The Multisystem? It’s a combination of the Multipress (which I love), The Lever Squat (which I like a lot and I would like even more if I could load my spine heavier), and a lever pulldown (which I haven’t used but I’ve heard pretty good things about). I definitely think it’s a quality piece of equipment and I’d be glad to have it.

I'll be trying the reverse bench press. As you say. it feels more like a decline due to the angle of the press! I also have a vertical leg press hack. I have two pieces of board bolted together. The lower piece is longer than the "handle so can take the leg pressing on it. Then the other board sits in-between the handles as extra "grip" and are then strapped around the handles. Hard to explain, but its been very effective!

You made a good point to me that Powertec is a company who produces exercise machines along the lines with Atlantis, Hammer Strength, etc. where as REP, Rogue, Titan are companies which produce mainly weightlifting accessories such as barbells, weight plates, dumbbells, racks etc. so it's near impossible to compare Powertec to such companies as they differ in their production lineups. I never looked at it like that until you pointed it out to me. Good advice for people to know before they make their purchases!!!!

thanks for sharing your top ten HGHR. Your offerings are informative and useful as always! The video has also jogged my memory about the bolt hack for the levergym to keep the arms up higher and out of the way. I only forgot because I have been using the centre bar on the Multisystem lat station for machine facing close grip palms up lat pulldowns for a good while now, as I have not yet suffered a plateau from them. i do however find it tight for clearance on the levergym when preforming lat pulldowns with longer bars, with the lever arms resting in the top position as standard. I also find the lever arms presence tight for leg clearance when they are resting on any lower position during any seated pulldown, so I will find the extended bolt hack option of great value when i come around to needing it. If you would be so kind, can you please tell me the bolt size and length again here so I can copy and paste the information, and also the casing that works for this mod as I do want to get around to sorting out this hack before the day comes where I will appreciate the hack being in place. Once again I hope powertec are making note from these small but big hacks to improve future lines as standard. Cheers mate.

Thanks so much, JP. 7” x 3/8” it is a partial thread bolt so the pulley wheel revolves around it more smoothly. I used jump rope handles as spacers and the two pieces on the end are something I found in my toolbox and unfortunately, I don’t know what they are.

@@HomeGymHacksandReviews To make that statement, you have a sentimental attraction to Powertec, something happened and you have convinced yourself Powertec is the best ever. @@bobbyhunt3009 Powertec’s product lineup is deeper than almost every company there is. For example, Powertec has 3 stand-alone leg machines, the leg press attachment, and a leg extension / leg curl attachment. Rep only has a belt squat attachment which isn’t very good. I guess because I like machine-based training, I choose Powertec over the competitors. I will admit, Rep has the new dumbbells, a deeper bar lineup, and more heavy duty racks, functional trainers, and benches. I appreciate that, BH!
