You can do all of this with a barbell and a rack.. why would you need this? Even with a pair of adjustable dumbbells and a bench you'd be saving a ton of money.
@@LegalizeTheNuclearBomb what would u do for lat pull downs with just a rack, honest question btw id like to know since im in the market? also what if you train solo at home, i cannot go to the gym where i live so its all home stuff for me.
Plastic body had a small chip when ru-vid.comUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS I opened from box- would have sent back but it works well- using for warming up before exercising from full knee replacement- also use several times during day to keep movement easy. Sturdy, easy to use, easy to assemble (instructions didn’t match but easy to put together). Getting the same movement as the warm up bike at PT. Would suggest to order before surgery so you have it home ready to use when you can!!! Doesn’t take up a lot of space-not heavy so easy to move- not using for arms but I think it would work just as well
The pec fly attachement can also be used to pump up your side delts, i put it on the ab bench attachement lift the bench up and there you go. really happy.
I have had the Workbench Multi system now for about 7 years now and still love it as much especially as you can train in complete safety when you have no spotters. My only gripe is that the lifetime warranty only applies to the frame which is going to last a lifetime anyway. The cover over the padding is only covered for a year and is easily worn by a belt rubbing against it. Overall I would still have to recommend it.
I've got one of these .If you stand on the seat facing the lat machine ,you can grab a hold of the lat machine handles and use the lat machine as a dipping machine ..I use a wooden block atop of the seat making it easier to position yourself over the handles to get you started ,then step back down on the seat when the handles are at arms length..Just in case anyone missed it..
I’ve had this machine in the past and whilst it is a great peace of gettin’-bigger-machine i have to say the weights actually feel lighter than their freeweight counterparts. In much of the movements the weight is closer to the machine than your body, giving a mechanical advantage. I ended up selling it to be replaced by a full rack and pulleystation.
Mostly the flat bench allows attachment and more angles. If it has half moon under flat bench it is newer model that allow attachments instead of one at the curl/lat station
Watching Lee train is like watching an eagle in flight... Something they were instinctively born to do. It calms me immensely watching an eagle fly, as it does seeing Lee train.
This machine is very versatile and was way ahead of its time.Never seen such a equipment with complete package. Also Lee priest performing exercises on this machine made it more watchable. They should sell and advertise this machine in India as well.
Lee I just ran across this video.I've learned a lot from watching your video. I have this system. I've had it for about 10 years now. I'm getting back into exercising and I didn't know that I can do all those exercises. I don't know if you are still monitoring your RU-vid page or not, but thanks for the video.
Just bought one of these this past Christmas. Also got the leg press, dip accessory, leg extensions/leg curl accessory, pec flye accessory and preacher curl accessory. All came included. Black Friday deal of $1900. Then got a military discount on top of that (15% off) plus free shipping. Been using it for 3 months now and it is amazing. Newest version has isolateral bench arms. Bought 400 lbs of free weights off of Craigslist for $100.
I think this is so much better than freeway it gets right to the point the only way that it helps you is that a keeps the pressure on your muscle that you're working on so something else don't get in the way or you don't get out of balance there is nothing wrong with that you do nothing but build muscle from point to point I get tired of people saying that these do not work they work
Lee Priest is the human version of a Mech in Japanese anime. Especially with some of Sam's equipment , it looks almost cybernetic when Lee puts on a couple plates
HOW MUCH ????? also, I"m in the US... is there a US dealer ??? sorry Lee, I don't feel like spending an extra $2,000 for shipping from Australia.... Thank You Lee for showing us what we can do with PowerTec !!!!!
This was an excellent video actually! As a long time trainer, it's honestly better than nearly every training video I've watched and critiqued. And I take it, it was not even ment to be. But, for those who may not know, this guy is an industry pro. One of body buildings house hold names. P.S. All these comments about roids and stuff, exude jealousy lol.
I`ve recently ordered a leverage home gym and this video has given me ideas for so many other exercises I would never have thought of. I particularly like the chain on the bar for one arm tri exercises so I`m gonna have to work out how to do that.
I have one of these and it really isolates the muscles you're working. BUT....it really deceives you cause I ended my workout benching 430lbs and I end my bench on free weights and it was way lower than 430lbs. I was embarrassed.
I did some trading a few years ago and ended up with a Bowflex and in my opinion that thing was a waste of time there's not enough resistance if you like to train heavy I guess it's ok for women and older people just wanting to stay fit
I use 1970s universal Centurian.works amazing. 400 $...had a power tech 1800 junk...but Mr Priest is a great bodybuilder from the70 s have followed him a long time
I have Powertec Multi system and attachments as you can see on my profile pic. I bought it because i was tired of paying monthly membership. Working out at home means, you work out and get it done. If you go to a gym theres a good chance you'd waste time talking to acquiantances.
7 years of sometimes sharing machines with possible idiots who can't even count their sets right and moan like they're getting constant fractures, in some cases having to pay for gas or public transportation to get there, face the elements and get a good rumble roaring when some idiot gets stuck in the toilet for more than an hour. No thanks, I'd rather have a lifetime multi-machine.
Sebastian Toma Its not the frame that is unstable, it is the Ab Crunch handle. It attaches to the frame with a bushing, so there has to be some movement so that it moves freely. Plus I find with bushing systems they give a slight "free weight" feel in that there is a little bit of movement to activate stabilising muscles. Here is a video on the specific exercise - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c0YUC9OElfo.html

Nah try a 4 page manual with absolutely agonizing exploded diagrams that will have you wanting to punch whoever decided that it was a good idea to include such little information
Always like Lee Priest but how long has he been using oil in his arms for??his arms got the signature signs, look soft, dont move whatsoever,no veins, his arms looked much harder back when he had I'm assuming mostly real MASSIVE arms!!
robert James this isn’t Lee’s channel , of course he won’t answer you specifically . Also , this machine is made for anyone in a normal height range . As long as you aren’t 7+ feet you should be good .
Not sure about the tricep press downs powertec didn't think out the box for that one, Lee's tin tin fringe was almost swiped off a few times around 5:21 ..... A very important exercise and powertec fuked up with safety on that one lol ........ 2/3 more plated added for mass and it's a broken nose all thanks to powertec :(
