Dutch Blitz!!! No freaking way!!! It's probably one of the first card games we learned as kids growing up. I even made a large size out of construction paper and usually have 2-3 people per team when we play with them. I also agree on usually given a game more than one playthrough before really deciding on if it's good or not.
I will have to check out The Art Project. It intrigued me but I didn't do too much research on it. 80. Dixit 79. Tokaido 78. Mechs vs. Minions 77. Castles of Mad King Ludwig 76. The Age of Atlantis 75. Codenames 74. King of Tokyo 73. Micro Cosmos 72. Steampunk Rally 71. Food Chain Magnate
Chakra is a new one to me so now I looking forward to checking it out! I have the base Roll Player and have the expansions on my list to buy but now I feel like I need that awesome box too!! 🤪🤗 thanks for sharing!
Sweet baby pup! You have made me curious about Chakra. I like a large array to. I feel like my list is all of the genre map too :) Here's my 80-71: 80- ISO (probably the MOST brain-burn-y spacial puzzle game that I've ever played.) 79- Arboretum 78- That's Not a Hat 77- Raptor 76- Scrabble 75- Paris: La Cité de la Lumière 74- The White Castle 73- Dinosaur Island: Rawr 'n Write 72- Beacon Patrol 71- Sushi Roll
I have never played Roll Player, but I have played Roll Player Adventures and it is awesome! I recently completed the campaign (solo, playing 2 characters) and started it again. Lots of fun and I like how your decisions impact what happens later in the campaign. It's not like "Oh, I kill this guy here and never have to face the consequences!" :)
This Time I learned something: Dutch Blitz is in Germany known as Ligretto. Azul is a good game to introduce new player to boardgame. But you are right: Depending on players and their skill: It can be frustrating. Azul Summer Pavilion removes this way a little bit, because you mostly have a 2nd or 3rd way if other players takes the tiles you want. But it is on the next difficulty level. And the Queens garden is the hardest azul. I like it, but it is tough. I'll give the solo mode you mentioned a try.
Shamans seem really interesting and I’ve literally never heard of it. Nice one. Here’s my 80-71. I know one will be seen as blasphemy for you: 71 Three Sisters 72 Sobek: 2 Players 73 Lotus 74 New York Zoo 75 The Red Cathedral 76 Point City 77 Kōhaku 78 Santa Monica 79 Stone Age 80 Air, Land, and Sea: Critters at War
I'm a big fan of Inside Job so when you mentioned a hidden traitor trick taking game my mind immediately thought of it. To find out there is one I haven't played in Shamans makes me curious to look into it further.
I want to try A.R.T. Project soooo badly! Interested to hear your thoughts on the solo mode for it. Also, Caverna seems like the Uwe game for me to try. I’ve never played anything by him. Master Chocolatier is so pretty and so fun! Another great list, Jenna!
Great list again. So many good games. And I was able to add for of them to my waaaay too long wishlist. I should really do my top 100 list so I can add new to me games more easily. My favorite one from this list was Dale of Merchants, I guess. I really love cute animals in my games and this seems like something I would very much be interested in.
@@TheBoardGameGarden What do you like most about the game? I like the witch theme and backed the game and have played it once or twice. I liked it but didn't love it. Help!
I love the production value of this series. I have a question, can I ask what program you use for the titles ? I like the transparent backgrounds with the white lettering. Thank you for your time and be well.
Thank you so much! That means a lot! 😊 I use Final Cut Pro for editing and I get a lot of my titles from Pixel Film Studios! Here is the link! store.pixelfilmstudios.com/
Caverna--I got this game in a used game bundle and it looks intimidating! I'm a solo player, solo learner, and I'd love to learn Caverna Solo! Can you do a solo playthrough??? My game even came with Broken Meeple organizer. I just can't bring myself to sell it before I learn it. I have not played any of the creator's other games.
I should do a solo livestream for Caverna! I've been really wanting to play it again! I'll add it to the list for sure! Nice! We got a Folded Space insert for it! Helps set up so much! 👍🏻
I'm sorry, your list is clearly invalid. Every entry should have just been Penny. She's a dog and not actually a board game? Doesn't matter. Oh my goodness, that opening!!! So sweet!!!!!!
