I have this smoothie everytime I've finished working out. 2/3 cups of almond milk 1/2 cup of Greek yoghurt Heaped tbsp vanilla protein powder 1 banana Teaspoon of cinnamon These ingredients are exactly enough to fill up my glass. It tastes like a banana milkshake and the cinnamon gives it that extra kick in flavour. You could make it without the protein powder, I just like to because it gives me that extra boost after working out.
@@yajairabazan1474 It doesn't speed up weight loss or anything. There is no such thing as a magic food. The only way to lose weight is by being in a caloric deficit. Smoothies are healthy for you though and protein helps turns your fat into muscle so you eventually will look lean instead of skinny fat. You technically can eat whatever you want as long as you are within your calories but you would feel like crap eventually and body composition would be a bit off. The main takeaway is to eat less than you burn to lose weight and to eat enough protein to build up your muscle.

my weight loss routine: i lost ten pounds in five days no joke 1. Every morning have a cup of apple cider vinegar do morning routine then have lemon water 2. Have rose tea steep 6 mins and peppermint tea an hour before lunch steep 2-5 minutes late afternoon ADD NO SUGAR 3. Take melatonin an hour before bed then take a hot bath 4. Cold shower every morning 5. Keep your water cold and drink a whole gallon everyday 6. No juice no soda 7. Use smoothies for meal replacements 8. Cut off eating 3 hours before bed 9. 30 minutes to an hour fun cardio while laughing so dance for me but just have a good time while being active!

Just to interject a correction on the apple cider vinegar, no to one cup, you need to only have 1 - 2 tsp of acv, into a cup of water. One cup of acv would almost make you throw up.
These smoothies look so good! One trick I found to keep a cold 'smoothie' consistency is by freezing the diced fruit an hour or more in advance. When you blend it, it is cold enough to where you may not need ice cubes :)

Thank you so much for these recipes! I’ve been making these smoothies for breakfast for the past week and I’m not sick of it because they are delicious and keeps me full for quite some time. I’ve lost 2kg in the past week (along with healthy meals for lunch and dinner of course) and I feel great! I’ve been trying so many diets for so long and usually these diets blocks out carbs totally. However, the key to losing healthy weight is through a balanced diet that includes all the food groups.
I tried the banana yogurt smoothie and gosh, I have no words to say other than it's delicious! I'm definitely going to make this again, except next time I'm going to add less peanut butter, but it's my fault that I put too much peanut butter in it. Don't add a lot of peanut butter in it because it will take over the flavor of the smoothie, luckily I didn't add THAT much, just a little bit too much peanut butter. Okay I'm probably gonna make this one a lot so I "might" stay updated.

I just throw 150g Jogurt and any fruits I can find in the mixer and that's it. The Jogurt balances the sweetness and I think it's good for your tummy. Best combination so far: strawberries and nectarine with the usual jogurt. So delicious...

I made the blueberry smoothie but I used coconut milk in place of water. And added 2 tbs hemp seeds for 7.5 grams of added protein and omega 3 & omega 6. And used vanilla flavored almond butter instead of almond plain. Also added 1 tsp of maca root powder and 1 tbs of moringa and spirulina blend. It’s very rich and creamy. Taste great. I love that you don’t use milk in your ingredients and have optional ingredients... my boyfriend has a lot of allergies but he can have these!! It’s hard sometimes to find new things for him :)
I love the banana vogurt smoothie so much! I have it often. A suggestion if you don’t wanna add yogurt I sometimes add almond milk instead it tastes really good too😊
These are definitely some of the better smoothies I've seen -- I like how you are not afraid of good fats and that you sort of kind of break down the nutritional content of your recipes. I add chia seeds to mine as well as some sort of leafy green (spinach, kale, or chard) and a handful of frozen celery instead of ice. The extra calories and fibre mean that my breakfast smoothies get me to lunch as much as five hours later. Starting the day with such a complete and nourishing meal sets the tone for the rest of my food choices that day. I've been doing a smoothie for breakfast every morning for just over a month. Not seeing any results on the outside, but I have way more energy and just generally feel better overall.

saarah khan you can buy frozen berries which aren't fresh and you can keep in your fridge. It's really easy, mixes easily, costs way less since it isn't fresh but it's still healthy and acts as ice cubs as well.

Also, I always add greens to my smoothies. I try to get greens in at every meal. Do you think that would work with these smoothies?
Yes you can add greens! Will work best in the blueberry smoothie, or the banana yogurt smoothie. The size of the smoothie/ and whether it be a breakfast or snack, would depend on your personal calorie needs + if you are trying to lose weight or not :)
If you're trying to lose weight a 300 calories smoothie is probably ideal. Personally I like to eat lower calorie breakfasts so I can save my calories for something later in the day.
I make smoothies for breakfast most of the time or for dinner when I'm not feeling like eating. I put in the following Frozen berries ( raspberries, blueberries, strawberries) 1 banana 1 scoop of whey powder 1 cup almond milk 1/2 cup baby spinach 1/2 cup kale 2 tbs Greek yoghurt Sometimes I add in peanut butter if it's the only meal I've eaten .. I also mix it up depending on ingredients we've had shortages here so I've been using bananas and grapes and berries when I can and Greek yoghurt, water and spinach. Can I ask what did you eat for lunch and dinner .. I'm limited in what I can eat, as I'm fussy and lots of textures aren't nice. I eat carrots, celery, snow peas, capsicum, tomatoes as my vegetables and enjoy berries, bananas, mangoes and stone fruit and basically just eat chicken as my meat .. I'm struggling with weightloss and it's getting me down.

I tried the banana yogurt and I loved it! Usually I don't like peanut butter but the cinnamon made it less strong and the banana balanced everything out perfectly Overall I love the results 👍
i have one i like to make on cheat days: 2 cut up cucumbers 2 leaves of kale 2 leaves of spinach water over the 3 ingredients honey 4 tbsp of strawberry jam little bit of sparkling water blend and enjoy 😊

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no smoothie will make you lose weight. Carbohydrates, sugar, the fructose in the fruits WILL spike your insulin. If INSULIN is present in your body, you WILL NOT BURN FAT. It is a key storage hormone to pass/store nutrients into your cells. Carbs will extremely spike insulin, compared to protein and fat (which will lead to insulin resistance if your staple food source is carbs). The ONLY WAY to lose fat is to have a carbohydrate deficit, higher fats, and moderate protein, (ketogenic diet) and of course exercise. I wish I could explain more, but instead of being ignorant on nutrition, look up Dr Berg and his videos on the Keto diet
I made this on 12-11-21 and it came out in an chocolate fluffy pudding for 1 serving. I noticed the Chocolate right off the bat, it was smooth, had my sister try it and she liked it too! I was hoping for a larger serving. But I like this can't wait to make the other 2 smoothies?
You can throw in just about any other fruit and you'll get a similar effect. My mum hates bananas so when I make a smoothie for her I throw in a mango or just use a bit more yoghurt to make it all blend easier.
