Hi I’m Liezl! I like to make and share simple, healthy recipes that actually taste good. You won’t find anything too complicated or time-consuming here! I previously lost more than 40 lbs by changing the way that I eat (I've shared some of my weight-loss journey on my channel). One of the things that helped me lose weight was meal prepping because then I didn't have to count any calories. I still meal prep almost every week to make it easier to keep eating healthy, because I find that when I eat healthier foods, I feel better physically and mentally. All my recipes are dairy-free, wheat-free, and mostly gluten-free - just FYI in case you have food allergies like me.

I came back to this video and the e-book and made everything to the recipes, following along. I forgot how much I liked this week, especially. Tastes great, feel satisfied, no cravings, saved $$, and I lost 2 lbs because I had time to exercise. That's a 6x win!! Thank you, Leizl. You have helped me a lot and I am sure many others, too. ❤
I hope you are OK. You seem a bit sad and down somehow, hope you rest well and have some time to recover. You made me loved meal prep and losing weight. Your recipes are not complicated yet so much more to my taste than those with like 20 different ingredients that can easily be overwhelming. I’d never only eat the whites😮The yolks are so nutritious, especially as many of us are low in vitamin D, and the flavour is so good! And coconut sugar is still sugar. It’s no better than cane sugar for weight loss, sadly. Love edamame beans - I have a frozen mix of those plus peas and broad beans.

If you’re actually trying to lose weight replace the peanut butter for PB2 (powdered version) it has half the calories, higher in protein and you can have more. Also swap the brown sugar for honey for obvious reasons.

Do you freeze the chicken? I thought you could only keep cooked chicken in the fridge for two days? Have I been doing this all wrong? Recipes look fab! X

Made the honey chicken with rice for dinner (I served broccoli as a side) and my 13 year old daughter said "Five stars, I'd eat here again!" Thank for the recipe idea!
Little tip for when your potatoes have a little bit longer to go but your other pans are big and need space use the floor of the oven as another shelf for anything that is practically done because obviously your losing the all round air flow from the bottom but there is enough to cook things that’s nearly done. That way your other items can take up full space on the upper shelves. 😊
Stop using rice in meal preps, mold is formed on rice 24h after cooking it, even if you put it in the fridge. I advise you to cook your rice on the same day, takes 20 mins.
