That assessment of Matt LaFleur got me right in the gut. In a good way. The second he faces a team that won't back down, he and the team curl into a ball a cry. It's happened constantly during his tenure as HC. This season is a proving year for him as much as it is for Jordan Love. Well said Wyatt.
As a Lions fan, that's basically how it looked both times they played last year. Saw it from him and from Rodgers. They just kinda quit and the game wasn't over yet. They were definitely good enough to win both those games.
@@MrRockmusicjunkie not just you guys, it happened against Washington, both NY teams, the Vikings in week one, Tennessee, it probably would've happened against Tampa, but their offense wasn't very good. But yeah that's pretty much GB in a nutshell these past two years, but especially last year. When teams look past the image of "Almighty Rodgers and his band of merry men" and just play them straight up, more often than not, the Packers aren't prepared to deal with it. They just get in a feedle position and cry.
Imo, he is one of the greatest defensive minds football has ever seen. In his 16 seasons, he's never not had a top 10 defense, and most of the time, it's top 5. The hate is strictly bc people think that the only reason he got the ring is from Cowher's team, but Tomlin still had to coach them through the 2 seasons before it. He's carrying the Steelers tradition to stay within Pittsburgh by hiring Canada, even though we really need a better OC.

As an Eagles fan, I’m happy to see Sirianni get a lot of respect. Everyone always disses anything relating to either him or Hurts because of the talent the roster has, but people forget that he made that offense what it is, and he’s the reason Hurts developed into a star QB. The 25-13 record (including playoffs) helps his case also
I feel like a lot of people forget to look at how the NFL has changed when looking at Belichick for the sake of narratives. They tended to mostly run a short pass style offense with a few deep balls sprinkled in, and now that's not exactly how teams run, they've zeroed in on it.

I love MCDC. There were for sure a couple losses last year (Minnesota and Buffalo come to mind) where I had to scratch my head and wonder what he was thinking, but also some wins (Minnesota and @GB) where you just had to give the guy credit.
@@wyattzworld contract extensions don’t really mean anything. Kliff Kingsbury was extended last year by the Cardinals and they fired him when the season was over. If The Bills get embarrassed in the postseason again this year then Sean McDermott is probably getting fired.

As a Falcons fan, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Aurther Smith does with our squad in this upcoming season as well. I have a feeling it will be the Panthers and Falcons battling for the NFC South. May the best team win.
@carterragle5355 Same here. The NFC South team I definitely despise the most is the Saints. Bucs fans used to be somewhat decent people as well, but after getting Tom Brady, they've kind of slid down there with the Saints a bit. Hopefully, now that Brady is gone and Todd Bowles is running the team, it will humble them back to what they were before.
Tua got concussed half way through the packers game and def would have won if we never was hurt based off his performance in the first half and both bills losses were from awful defense (from josh Boyer) and the playoff loss was also without tua and a healthy tua would have beat the pats easily as he wouldn’t have thrown the pick 6 so you can’t really blame mike that much for those losses tbh tua is to blame for the niners and chargers loss
You say the dolphins lost the last 7 games and knocked out round one yet you didn’t mention that even when Tua was back he probably wasn’t recovered from THREE CONCUSSIONS and with a backup almost beat the Bills. How is Tomlin #3? 3 playoff wins 12 years, none in the last 6 years, missing them entirely 3 of those 6. The Steelers gave up 28 points in the first QUARTER of the wild card round to the CLEVELAND BROWNS, who’s head coach was out with covid. The only reason he’s never had a losing record is because the AFC North was a circus for most of his career.
as a dolphins fan, I think the best word to describe Mcdaniels is inconsistent. he isn't terrible or good by any means, but he definitely has some flashes, no matter good or bad.
Really surprised at the Mike Mcdaniels take. Not the placement. I actually agree with that, mostly. Not a huge fan of the dolphins but I’m excited to see how they do next year because of him. He’s new so it makes sense he’d be lower. He took an existing offensive play calling structure (shanahan) and made it his own with the speed aspect. Then battled adversity all year and STILL brought the team to the playoffs. Nearly beating the Bills with a backup QB. All of those 6 out of 7 games lost were very close games aside the 9ers game. But to be fair, that’s the 9ers. Plus, Butt punt.
I really dont understand why Zac Taylor is so underrated. Everything you said about Sirianni you can say about Zac. He did the same thing and he did it almost twice maybe a couple plays away from 2 straight superbowls, whilst having one of the worst o lines in the league. And he did it in CINCINNATI. You know John harbaugh only chooses not to go over time because his roster be destroyed to where he can’t chance another player getting hurt. That’s why he is smart to go for it. I think it’s crazy he’s not atleast in your top 10.
pete should be above shawn, pete has never been under.450 unlike the horrible season for the rams and yes we also have had season with major keys injury's they just seemed like they gave up on offense.
