Good list. But I would take out about 20 songs and would add Wrack My Brain (Ringo), Let It Roll (George), Run of the Mill (George), It's What You Value (George), Soft Hearted Hanna (GREAT by George!), Oh, Yoko (John), Oh, My Love (John), Crippled Inside (John), How Do You Sleep (John), Jealous Guy (John), Mrs. Vanderbilt (Paul), Another Day (Paul), Hope of Deliverance (Paul), My Brave Face (Paul)... Those songs could make up 3-4 great Beatles' albums!
My top 1/ Imagine 2/ Merry Xmas/War is over 3/ It don’t come easy 4/Silly love Songs 5/ Coming up 6/ What is life 7/ Goodnight tonight 8/ Wah Wah 9/ No more lonely nights 10/ Back off Boogaloo
Perfectly agree!!!! I dare add other songs by George like Devil's radio or The rising Sun from Brainwashed or Handle with Care from the Traveling Wilburys. His SOLO legacy is really huge comparing il to the room he had in the Beatles.
Yea good list, I also would have included ‘ It don’t come easy by Ringo, Wah Wah by George, and Isolation by John. Far too many great McCartney songs to pick a handful. These are all great
My top 40. Lennon only recorded solo for about 6 years, so my list is heavy on McCartney and Harrison. If Lennon recorded into his 80's, it would have been impossible to pick only 40. Ringo gets just one. I Like Ringo, but he's not in the same league. 1. Isn't it a Pity. (Harrison) 2. God. (Lennon) 3. Imagine. (Lennon) 4. Little Willow. ( McCartney) 5. Mull of Kintyre. (McCartney) 6. 1985. (McCartney) 7. Maybe I'm Amazed. (McCartney) 8. Art of Dying. (Harrison) 9. Grow Old With Me. (Lennon) 10. Happy Xmas. (Lennon) 11. Monkberry Moon Delight. (McCartney) 12. Beautiful Night. (McCartney) 13. Live and Let Die. (McCartney) 14. Working Class Hero. (Lennon) 15. Handle With Care. (Harrison) 16. That is All. (Harrison) 17. When We was Fab. (Harrison) 18. Despite Repeated Warnings. (McCartney) 19. The Light That Has Lighted the World. ( Harrison) 20. Here Today. (McCartney) 21. Instant Karma (Lennon) 22. I Live For You. (Harrison) 23. Somedays. (McCartney) 24. It Don't Come Easy. (Starr) 25. Jenny Wren. (McCartney) 26. This is Love. (Harrison) 27. Jeolous Guy. (Lennon) 28. Wanderlust. (McCartney) 29. Any Road. (Harrison) 30. Crippled Inside. (Lennon) 31. Little Lamb Dragonfly. (McCartney) 32. Beautiful Boy. (Lennon) 33. Letting Go. (McCartney 34. The Day the World Gets Round. (Harrison) 35. Wah Wah. (Harrison) 36. Nobody Loves You When You're Down and Out. (Lennon) 37. Hear Me Lord. (Harrison) 38. I'm Carrying. (McCartney) 39. House of Wax. (McCartney) 40. The End of the End. ( McCartney)
Great list, agreed with most of them. However I would have included Paul McCartney's - Comming Up and Listen to What the Man Said, as well as John lennon's - Whatever gets you through the night.
I'm taking a wild stab here - the uploader is primarily a George fan? Each to their own but IMO there's a lot of excellent MacLen stuff missing from this list and many on it should be far higher up. And even Ringo's one great post-Beatles song should have at least made the top 20. Again just IMO.
What is this? Jealous guy, Imagine, Instant karma, Love, could never be out of a top 10/15. Moreover, Dream 9, Out the blue, Starting over, Mind games, Woman, Give peace a chance, Real love, Grow old with me, She's a friend of Dorothy, etc, should never be further back than "Another day" 🥵 at least you're a big Paul's fan.
Thanks for the pepperoni is not a song relevant friend. All things must pass has songs more relevant like beware of darkness and wah wah. It dont come easy, woman, starting over, no more lonely nights and Jealous guy should be in your list. My opinion.
