Years ago, I was in Cabelas looking for pork rinds back when they started getting hard to find and ask a girl employee and she started leading me to the snacks😂 I do like me some pork skins and especially pork cracklings.
I would just like to thank you Mr. Wheeler for the tips you give for true cold water fishing. Most tips given by other pros are guys that fish in Texas,Florida or California. I am a fellow Hoosier and truly appreciate tips that actually help me catch fish.
I had not fished for years, however I did buy a used bass boat in late spring. The first thing I looked for was Uncle Josh pork. A lot of folks had never heard of them. Glad they are back
The pig and jig!! My old man is an old school 80s and 90s tournament angler and one of the best things he taught me about bass fishing is the pig and jig. Cool to see someone else is still using it too.
Good Stuff! Love Shad Raps and jigs for any water less than 50! Also, slow roll big spinner bait. We used to throw a natural buck tail jig with a purple pork eel. Killer. Keep you the good videos. We appreciate them.
My dad and great uncle have told me many stories about the pork trailers back in the 80s and 90s. me and my dad were out fishing and went in a store on the lake to get gas and found some, we bought them and haven't used them too much yet. Next trip out I will have one on my jig!
@@HanSoloxcs Yeah, but for the most part they were not being real brand oriented. If you don't like that particular brand you can find equivalents from another major brand. I'm honestly not sure how much overlap they have for sponsors. I'm mostly taking what they each said and digging into my options and adjusting what goes with me. I bank fish and basically carry a bag with a deep 3700 and some extra plastics, spool of line for leaders... So I have to regularly adjust what goes and what stays home. Let's face it, for their audiences, did they suggest anything we'd really not already have? Maybe you go look and say, "hmm, I need to restock that plastic, or I don't actually own a suspending bait in the right color." but odds are good most of us had it already and just aren't sure what to be using. Gotta admit, despite the tips I got skunked badly today. Didn't see anything either, which is rare. I'm wondering if something happened in that section of the creek to send the fish elsewhere.
It swims like a real fish in the water. Also it’s heavy enough to launch it pretty farI think it’s worthI tried the white and red one. I ll try the other colors to see if it makes any difference

Lol.. I’ve had those ole pork frogs in bottom boat.. just went today caught nice spot 3.9 on that rig flipping into ole tree lay down on main channel on tellico side.. they work
@Wheeler Fishing set the record straight, would you? Have you ever fished a tournament that did NOT allow pork trailers? I've never fished a tournament, but I've known about pork trailers since I started knowing about anything! Over recent years I remember hearing they were not allowed in "tournaments", but I believe that's an urban Fishing legend:)! So...?And hello from Murfreesboro, TN!
Please do a video on dropshot management in the rod box. I use a cork to cover the hook and then I have trouble keeping up with the cork. Always wants to tangle in the rod sleeves. Also a vid on how to not catch them in practice, especially trebles. Thanks
Spot on my old friend. I probably would have ranked them in a different order but absolutely top 5 for sure. Darrel You and I going to heritage when you were about 15 or 16 catching jerkbait fish. Great memories.
I got lucky on Sunday on a round point with a big tree on it caught 10 smallmouth in the same area was a great day water temps was 56 was catching them on Red Crawfish Crank.
What do you do when it’s been cold but then it gets up in the high 70’s in December I’m going to lake jocassee in sc tomorrow and it’s super deep and super clear and it’s going to be almost 80 what do I throw?
Man I wish wheeler would come out here to California and fish the Delta I would love to see him come out here and try to catch a 10 pound plus and get a 30 pound bag on the Delta just watch them absolutely kill it or try to it’s such a tough fishery But can produce Giants I fish it three days a week and would love to see the best fisherman in the world come out here and see how he does!!!!
I live in northern Nevada. It was 17 degrees last night!. Not sure the water temp. I'll be sure to try out all 5 as i have, 3 of the 5 recommended. Stay tuned!
