I'm sorry to hear about all the surgeries, but I'm very glad to see you back. I was starting to get worried! Always love seeing your SAKs, your descriptions of them, and their history.
Great to see a video from you, thanks for the update! This year, the SAKs that I've probably carried the most have been the Super Tinker and the Pioneer. Cheers, buddy!
Nice to have what are really collectors items in your EDC rotation! But all still perfectly serviceable and functional although they'd be classed as vintage. The 3 I've mostly carried in 2023 are : Swisschamp black; Climber with black plus scales; and the Farmer X. Tend to carry the latter 2 with Knipex Cobra XS pliers.
I am not sure if you have a dedicated video for this but it would be interesting to hear your take on best version of a tool ie who made the best wood saw, nail file or the most unique tool. A tool that has other tools made apart of it you wouldnt think to pair like a swa with can opener. Loom forward to new videos.
I have a few but I have one that was owned by my dad. I'm 54 and he had it when I was little. He past years ago but I still have a couple of watches and his old Swiss army knife. It has the metal loop? As apposed to a key ring fitting. I'll never get rid of it.
Hey Hey Hey now, it's the bionic Peter Grizz 😉Great collection of knives there...carrying 5+ layer Swiss Army kniives is definately a gen x thing. Born at a time when kids stilll coveted 'cool' knives. Carrying them provokes warm memories of a care free childhood and gen Xers are far too old to be worrying about larger SAKs spoiling the lines of their skinny jeans 😄Speedy recovery PG 💚
