Nice list! Olive swirl and spiced apple would definitely be among my favourites. I also really liked ghost, cosy up, three kings, dusted truffle and serendipity. Enjoying bliss, ghost, and cosy up in pens at the moment.

I've got Ghost in a 1.1 stub nib - I intend to do a comparison with Earl Grey at some stage, and maybe Ash from the 2021 calendar

Two quick things: This was a very helpful video to see all the 25 swatches the way you presented them. Thank you! Also, I found the Pick Me Up to smell more like Tobacco and/or Leather than Coffee. I tried to make it out as coffee, but it didn't quite get there for me.

Thanks. I do find the smell of Pick Me Up to be very sweet. I'll be honest I've not really smelled tobacco so can't compare it to that. I have noticed a lot of people comparing it to tobacco.

My top five would be different. Love the Blue Black the most, followed by that very dark green (can't remember the names). This is a great overview of all the inks, Garry. I am also interested in your fo us of the Monteverde Ritma which is one of my favorites from 2022.

The Ritma FI is currently scheduled for 14 Feb. I've got that many pens to do FI on - most are now filmed, its just finding the best date to release them.

I didn't get an Inkvent Calendar, but it seems as if you and several other reviewers had some of the same favorites. Spiced Apple gets mentioned a lot, along with Olive Swirl and Yule Log. Based only on the online images, I think Deck the Halls is my favorite. Nice recap!

Thanks. I enjoy the inkvent calendars - a nice way to play with ink. I may do my own later in the year - ask my wife to order 30 samples for me but not tell me what she has ordered.

Hi Garry, thank you for this video, nice to see what's your favourites ! My ranking for this -my first- Inkvent Calendar would be : 1. Memory lane (#12) 2. One more sleep (#24) 3. Dusted truffle (#10) 4. Solar storm (#3) 5. Pick me up (#15) Honorable mentions anyway : - Yule log (#2) -- I would have put it in place of Dusted truffle, but I already own a similar ink (without the shimmer) that I prefer - Spiced Apple (#5) -- I really loved this one the moment I saw this ink, but in the end, there are a few more I prefer over this lovely red - Ghost (#6) -- very light, but I love this one !

It's one of the few habits I haven't been able to stop. I only tend to do it when I'm bored, so you can tell how busy I've been by the length of my nails.
