kommi1974 Autonomous sensory meridian response(ASMR) is an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. Dude! Fantastic tones, and some seriously great riffing! I've owned a two rock, top hat, spatial, vintage fender, vox, matchless, bogner.... the list goes on. Been wrestling with whether or not to go this route because of the price point.

I just purchased a Kemper this week, still getting to grips with it, but it’s so good!! I’m running the powered unit through an Orange closed back 1x12 cab. Sounds amazing, a lot better than the FRFR setup I tried previously. Like playing a real amp, and also downloaded M.Britt D pack profiles with all the dumble stuff. It’s an amazing amp pack, especially the dumble voices for John Mayers amp clean!

Always been a Matchless guy, so hearing these makes me so happy! LOVE my Matchless Clubman... And I also had a HW AC-30...it was SO loud, it made me physically sick. those little chicken head knobs couldn't be turned low enough to get it to sound right, lol.

Very cool video ! Thanks for sharing. If I could give you just one little note/advice, I would have turned of the sound of your room/speaking mic to focus more on the real sound of the kemper without the pick sound and ambience. But apart of that, you got yourself a new follower !

This helps me a lot! No A/B comparison, but just juicy tones. And of course there’s nothing that compares to an amp in a room but recording and a lot of live things I do are just an amp mic’d up and blasting through my in-ear monitors. Maybe I should invest in making the switch to kemper🙈

Peter, With all due respect, there is no such thing as a 1970's Blues junior amp. Fender didn't introduce the Blues Junior until 1990.

Love the tones and your playing is great! I'm tired of lugging around a heavy amp, pedalboard, mic stand, etc. I'm considering selling them all and just going Kemper and Remote. I did that before with the Line 6 HD500X and regretted it - the tone just wasn't there live, even if it sounded fantastic in my house. Do you use it live, and does it sound great with a band in a performance situation? Thanks!

Used a Tim pedal in front of amp. Probably amp set to gain of 6, version 2. Just a guess, but based on Britt’s explanations, it is a good guess.

I love the video. Thank you for profile tips. I have almost every MBritt profile available. But, my question is. Can you share your go to effect settings for live use? You could copy effects into some free profile and post it on Rig exchange for example. I like your reverb and delay settings. Thanks!

I recommend you: tone junkie match chief (matchless), tone Junkie lowman 69 (bassman), Bert mertjenulik (I problably spelled wrong) Friedman be-100, and for heavy things STL tones Lee Malia. These are my top profiles, much more tight and articulate than the previous ones that I tested before (that includes the ones you listed). Regards, master.

Luiz Roberto Carvalho Bert meulendijk. It’s a hard one but I think I got it. His are great too because he makes them ready to be used for studio use. So they sound good at home. Not a lot of tweaking needed. He’s the Dutch Michael Britt. He has some freebies to test.

I think that for many of us that just like to play at home, the "experience in the room" criteria that you mentioned at the beginning of the video factors in quite a lot as to why we buy tube amps and build pedalboards. Sure, the Kemper accomplishes great tone through recording. But when I'm in my room, with my tube amp cranked and my pedalboard on the floor, for a brief couple of hours during my week, I'm a fucking rockstar!

I do gigs where my acoustic is plugged in the aux input at the back and electric at the front so I can switch guitars in seconds, use effects and eq... only problem the tuner doesn't work for acoustic

Nice. You run stereo outs into the audio card? I've run it that way before, but use SPDIF out to keep it digital all the way to Pro Tools. Is there an upside to using the stereo out? Is it to get around the 44.1khz limit?
