That one is clean Acura bro... I've got a white 06 TL but the guy I bought it from only had cheap coilovers. No camber kits or anything. So I'm saving for airbags, air tank, compressors, etc... its just way too low with the Tien springs and its a very rough ride. But its parked just because i dont want to wear my low profile tires. Once i get the air suspension system it will be back on the road. Ive already replaced both front fenders (the previous owner had 20in rims which wouldn't fit under the fenders (he pulled and creased the original fenders.) But switching to 18's, getting the skunk2 front upper control arms and rear SPC adjustable control arms for the rear. But before i go and get an alignment i want to swap out the busted Tien coil overs. Living in Jacksonville, FL potholes are a lowered cars worst nightmare. Thus why my TL will sit until i get the air suspension.
damm! I had a 2005 TL 6 speed 4 years ago. I loved the manual but really didn't like the front end and the weight. Seeing your car made me fall in love with the look again

Those NSX style taillights are amazing 😍 yes I have the 2012 TL fwd they're 😊 to drive and LED lights are One of the best way to go with a custom tekeda intake and the aspect kits also some good ☺️ tires very nice ☺️ upgrade for the TL 📴
First off love the car.. Great job overall with everything, with that being said my father owned a speed shop called East Coast Performance (NJ) so I personally have built nothin but muscle cars, first one 72 SS Nova, 2nd 69 SS 396 Chevelle and lastly 84 Corvette with 383 Stroker motor, street and slolom suspension... OK enough about the past. This is my second Acura, my previous one was 02 CL type S ( should of kept🤬) I now have 07 TL one owner, super clean, so to say I'm excited is an understatement. I was wondering if you can share with me the wheels and tire size on your Black TL? Also as far as the suspension, can you tell me about that? Lastly can you give me some places to buy parts, websites? I guess anything that would help me dive into the whole scene.. My OEM visors only lasted about a year or so until they faded by the Sun. Got a paint correction done and then buff out the visors they lasted about another 8 months then went back to being faded
I’m kind of partial to the ones that go inside the window channel so you don’t see any the plastic on the outside, except for the visor part of it makes it really clean
As you said, blacked out chrome on black looks good, but the chrome also looks good on the blue, it adds a bit of character that blacked out chrome would not. Possibly white would look best on blue?
Hey Dante have u heard of the pump sprayer called: ik pro 12. I just got one off of Adams’s polisher for $112 . Haven’t used it yet but to be able to have a foam sprayer is awesome.👍👍. The soap I bought for it is Meguiers. Gold. It also has a valve if u want to use an air compressor. I think you’ll do wonders if detailing other people’s cars, wheels 👌👌👌.
i have a base TL and honestly this is how i picture my shitbox in the future, but i like my silver so imma just wrap it matte black but sheess very clean build
I keep it simple... Probably gonna do the aspec body kit, coilovers, swap the wheels... Literally, thats it. Can pay for all the other mods... And i upgraded the audio system
Hey man, I got an 08 TL Type S auto, a new set of wheels n tires, front wheels with 15mm spacers to clear the brembo, rear's with 5mm spacers, 10mm spacers in the back would look flush with fender or close to it, It is lowered with megan racing springs but the back is too low so I can't go with the 10mm spacers. With the 15mm spacers up front, the front wheels r more out n not flush or match the rear. How do u choose the right size wheels n offset to clear the brembos n still look flush both front n rear. I pretty wheels in size 17inch only.
I was just looking at a ‘13 and ‘14 TL SH-AWD 6MT, and they look super beefy imo. I wonder how much better they are, compared to the prior gen Acura TL-S 6MT.
I emailed HIC about the purple hue problem i’ve had mine on since 2019 and honesty it destroys the look on a black car, HIC won’t cover ANYTHING even with this effect. I even told them I wouldn’t mind paying shipping or brand new ones. But i’d say OEM is the way to go. pay once and never pay again.
Hey, I have a 2008 TL-S and I wanted to know if there is a mod you can do that will allow you to have all of the front lights on at the same time (fog lights, daytime headlights, and nighttime headlights)? I'm asking because in your intro your car has the daytime lights and the nighttime headlights on at the same time.

TL-S: My Xenons and white LED fogs are good, but what LED bulbs do I need for the center daytime headlights? (switch set to off or auto) my middles are still halogen 🤔

Would this apply for an 03? As well just curious I just picked up a mint 03 TL-S from Florida with no rust no nothing with 201k miles on it. Had to replace the o2 sensor for emissions an that's about it so far, but I love the car drives like butter on the highway I don't even fell like I'm going 80mph at times when I'm not paying attention lol.
