Hey...nice videos... Can you please review Carolina Herrera's confidential range? Or give your opinion on them? Midnight patchouli is what i have and it confuses the heck out of me...sometimes i love it and sometimes i cant stand...it has never happened to me before.

I haven't tried any of these. Will have to order samples. Cuir Mandarine by David Jourquin is one of my favourite patchouli fragrances. Coromandel is awesome, too.

Patchouli is a love and hate relationship for me haha. Some are too earthy, but they one I do like is Patchouli Imperial. Now I don't know if I'd want a full bottle, I don't think I can go through 125ml but I definitely like it. Awesome video as always man. And congrats on 1,000 subscribers! :)

I like the super cheap Arthes Essential Patchouli Sumatra and wondered if you ever tried it. I will say that longevity seems slight but I never spray too much for it is patchouli. I also wanted to know that are some of these patchouli scents listed as for women? I always associated the scent as unisex no matter what is added to it but it seems like quite a few patchouli scents are listed for women.

I actually own a couple of patchouli scents that are marketed directly toward women but that are fully unisex. Molinard Patchouli Intense is an example. I haven't tried the one you mention but I'll be on the lookout for it. Thanks for watching!

I have reminiscence patchouli elixir and psychedelic joyoy. Love love them. Just a week ago I bought montale patchouli leaves, wow, not sure if I like it, too strong. I'll try it again when the weather a bit colder.

Coromandel is one of the nicest, but among the ones where Patch is the most dominant/only note I would list Profumum Roma Patchouly (also the one I like the most), Les Nereides Patchouli Antique and of the cheapest ones Patchouli by L'Erbolario. Tried any of those?

Coromandel I have, it's a classic! I've also tried Patchouly, it's very high quality I just don't own a full bottle. The others are new to me, thanks for bringing them up!

Solid choices bruh,gotta check a few of those out.Last time I was in a Dior boutique,I was mad close to picking up patchouli imperial,but ended up getting 'oud isphahan' instead.Here's a few patchouli's I dig...Nasomatto's 'Hindu Grass,'psychedelic' by Jovoy Paris,Perris Monte Carlo's 'essence de patchouli',and although not patchouli dominated,Amouage's 'Beloved Man'.Right on bro,Happy Holidays to you and yours man.Big up/Bless/Peace

I wore the original Opium for years. When they changed the formula, it just wasn't the same. The change ruined it. I.tried a sample of Imperial Patchouli and I love the spicy scent. It isn't strong on the patchouli, all the spices tone it down, but I really, really like it. I didn't know it was a man's fragrance. I'm probably going to order and wear it anyway. I love the spicey notes. I wish it came in a body cream.

Patchouli tends to become too powdery and creamy in my skin w/c I dislikea lot because no matter how good it smells, it tends to choke me out. I probably own a few but don't reach out to it often. Great list for sure for patchouli lovers.

Yeah man, I know this isn't going to be for everyone. Patchouli can get really funky at times and the open on some of these would be brutal to someone who only enjoys people pleasing type scents.

Have you tried javenese patchouli? I loved it, then I quickly fell out of love with it. It's quality but I it's just not for me. I replaced it with TF Patchouli Absolu. I really need to try more patch scents. All the reviewers pretty much hate patchouli based scents, so we're stuck with fresh and sweet and incense types. No love for the dirty manly stuff.

Sometimes you just need a little funky patchouli. Haven't tried Javanese Patchouli but I'm interested in that general line of fragrances, I'll see if I can pick some up at a decent price and check them out.

Ok, so I applied Boss Cashmere Patchouli about 45 mins ago. I find it masculine and smooth. I agree the opening was a bit 😳, but as it settled the magic appeared. I will say it reminds me of Zino Davidoff. I actually sprayed Zino on my left arm, Boss on my right, and the two are very much siblings. Boss is definitely the higher quality of the two. Zino carries a slight urinal cake note in the base, while Boss stays refined and classy all the way through. Let me know if you also see the comparison. I can see myself wearing the Boss fragrance with more formal attire. Zino is a fragrance I wear during the summer with a white polo shirt and jeans. And some Ray Bans 😎

I think you hit it on the head there. The opening of Cashmere Patchouli is a little on the unpleasant side but once that backs out of the way it really starts to show its true colors. I can see it being along the same vein as Zino and I agree that it's kind of a more "classed up" fragrance. You'll wear it well I'm sure.

I adore the scent. It's old it's been around forever. I have the real oil. I hunted for it. The first time my nose got the smell, I was in heaven. It last for a long time. I wipe it on everything. I love it. I put the oil on wrist, and pair with another purfume.

For my personal top 5 patchouli, my #5 doesn't quite fit the 95% patchouli criteria. 5. Aramis Havana or Zino Davidoff (vintage) 4. Patchouli Patch by L'Artisan Parfumeur 3. Patchouli by Lorenzo Villoresi 2. Classic Patchouli by Von Eusersdorff 1. Patchouli Imperial by Dior Top 3 in particular are close together.

Havana and Zino are classics, no doubt. I haven't tried Patchouli Patch before, I almost pulled the trigger about a month back but ended up getting Dzongkha instead.

Love love love love love love patchouli frags. I have most of these, dont have the Boss. Great list, well presented. Thank you for not discussing the presentations for 5 minutes per frag. I had a strange reaction to Patchouli Absolu. Bought 50ml from my main decant guy, shoutout to Saurabh Sinha from many of the Facebbok groups. I thought it was too strong, and sold it after wearing it twice. Barbershop on steroids to me. But....shortly after selling it I was craving it. So I bought it again. Now I just wear less of it. Two short sprays on the neck. Perfect. Love the Molinard. Love their purple bottle line. The Patchouli and the Amber are magic together, as well as by themselves. Another I love is Midnight Patchouli by Van Cleef and Arpels. A ted femme leaning, but WGAF. Leather Patchouli by Montale is quickly becoming a fave of mine, dont think it was out when you did this. I am new to fragrances but I think I am coming to the conclusion that I hate patchouli. I watched, and then appreciated, this video because I am trying to figure out if this is the note for me to avoid and I need to know what patchouli smells like. I first found it in Mugler’s Angel, which I actually still love. Then I found it in Flowerbomb, and that is exactly what it is: a cloud of dust that surrounds you like smoke. Then in Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, I think, even though I’m not sure it’s listed as a note and I half wonder if I have the wrong sample here. It dominated the other notes so much to my nose that it smelled exactly like Flowerbomb after about a half hour. Then I bought La Vie Est Belle Rollerball and it’s nothing like I remember the tester. Again it’s like the cloud of dust overpowers everything and I can’t smell any of the development I smelled in the store. It stuck to the couch I was sitting on, my bedsheets, and my clothes and is hanging on 24 hours later. Thanks for the good descriptions that further support my notion that patchouli is indeed the note I hate. It may save me money and time knowing what to avoid.

Patchouli. The essence of the gothic-scene since the early 80s. So it is a fellow of mine since my teenage years. The one and only Patchouli for me is still the "Original Patchouli" which is the absolute essence of Patchouli. Strong and earthy. Smelling like the humine soil...... Of course, meanwhile there are some nice; also tempting fumes, based on Patchouli combined with rose, or cedar, sandelwood or even musk and moss. I like them too! But the soul if Patchouli is and for me always will be the pure gothic-patchouli!
