I joined youtube June 16th 2007. Not the oldest account out there, but it's been awhile. I've only thumbs up'd 67 videos since the thumb system was started. It takes a lot for me to do that. But thumbs up for _shiznit._ Definitely deserves a thumbs up...
Mum was saying "kabob? What's a kabob??" i was saying, dunno, maybe his name is Bob? 😂 Then we googled it and found out that's what the US calls kebab! Never heard of it before!
Thanks for another nice video, I really really enjoyed watching it! Would be nice to try the burger place one day, and that pizza half and half looked great too, but I'd rather to have it with baked salmon and not raw. Just one thing, I still don't know your name, sorry mate.
All the food looked delicious. I think salmon on pizza is an acquired taste. I personally love anchovies all over my pizza. Another favorite is salmon (lox) on a bagel with cream cheese, lettuce & tomatoes. Ask Vee to try anchovies on the pizza (I'm trying the salmon on the pizza when I get to Thailand next year!, but skip the Catsup)!
Oh Wow! Your #5 reminds me of the kabob I used to get at Jomtien Night Market! The guy would put it together just like this guy did and then load it up with cheese and melt it with a blow torch! No joke, a blow torch! It was awesome! I would always order it "Phet mak mak" (means "very spicy") and he would load it on. Excellent stuff! You should go check it out if you ever make it over to Jomtien Night Market, and assuming he is still there given the COVID shutdown.
Hey big boy....that pizza looked very much like smoked salmon (not raw)....if I was only allowed one food to eat for the rest of my life....it would be smoked salmon....you should try it....Cheers.
Nader Ahmed Abdulla, you are correct to a point, we call it “kebab” here in the UK, but thinking back to my childhood in Canada, in North America it is spelled and pronounced as “kebob”.
@Andrew Robinson In Serbian it sounds like Che bop, but it doesn't matter since neither the Serbs nor the Arabs invented the dish. It originated in what is now Turkey, where surprisingly they speak Turkish and not Arabic. In Turkish it sounds, to me at least, more like Kebob. In North America it was most likely introduced by Greek immigrants and in Greek it sounds like Kebob.
@Andrew Robinson Maybe in Arabic but the word comes from the Turkish Language not the alphabet that is or was to used to represent Turkish in written form. Two different languages can use the same alphabet but have different pronunciations. The language not the alphabet determines the pronunciation of a word. You are arguing the opposite. Take Justice for example; two languages, English and French, use the exact same spelling and the exact same alphabet but the word is pronounced differently in each language. If you want to pronounce it with the long aa sound more power to you but it is incredibly arrogant to tell other people that they are pronouncing wrong if they pronounce it with an o sound. Especially when you are basing that pronunciation on the alphabet that was once used to represent it and not on the actual language spoken by the people that came up with it.
I don’t think it’s IF Pattaya gets busy but a big WHEN it gets busy ! Once the boarders open up I think it will be a trickle leading up to an avalanche of tourists
Have no idea why you would want to leave the serenity & beauty of Bang Saen for the madness & hustle bustle of Pattaya!! I know you explained your reasons why in one of your previous videos, but surely you could commute from where you are now!!! Only my opinion, good luck & a safe move!!!
I've watched quite a few of your videos and have now subscribed...I plan to move to Thailand within the next two yrs...Liebe Grüße aus Schleswig Holstein. 😊😊🙏
That kebab looked good. But I haven’t bought one in 2 years since I found a gyro recipe online. It is unreal how it tastes 100% like the ones I grew up with in Montreal, at chains like KOJAX. The keys are : marinating the chicken and letting it sit overnight, using naan for the bread(not pita/tortilla), and of course the tzatziki made from Greek yogurt.
I agree, less farang and less sleaze and seems more relaxed. Maybe Louis should tell us the reason he has decided to move to Pattaya. Maybe more subjects to make vlogs and maybe temporary until the borders open for farang to flood Pattaya again.
1:49 BACON! That Kabob and chicken looked delicious I think the colour is from Turmeric. That bike ride looked a bit dodgy bur fun. San Marzano Tomatoes are the best for ALL Italian dishes/ + wood-fired oven? = Perfect!
I like the way you put your videos together, very good to watch and very helpful. Love the food aspect you put in every video! Looks like you're living the good life in Thailand! I'm stuck in Australia for now, looking at moving to Vietnam or Thailand next year.
It seems Bangsaen is a pretty quaint little city.... and I’m wondering if you will have that feel in Patts? Been to Patts only twice and didn’t get that feel...
Yeah but if u have any idea just let him know coz he's working alone and he can sell more than 150 pieces within 4 hours. How many times he has to change the gloves? and just watch it how many seller use the glove?
@@ronruffneck3072 yes sir. When u have a company u have to show ur workshop or office than u can get the work permit within 90 days. Immigration will come to check ur address and that time u can report them where u will work. Important thing if u have work permit that’s not mean u can work everywhere. I mean if u have work permit from pattaya u can work only in pattaya.
Sure wish you had shown how he wrapped that kebob. I was just waiting to see how he did it. Wrapping a filled kebob is an art unto itself. Great vid otherwise, ha.
I'll do a vlog when I go to cash mine in 🤣😂🤣 I think you go to the main lottery office in Bangkok though. A lot of people go to the police station with their ticket and have them selves photographed with the ticket so nobody else can take it from them or lay claim to it as well.
Can you share some of that grilled chicken, looks good! And I'm don't think they are making much money off of you the way you load up those crabs! Looks good!
She sure does, but I've already given it, (and chances are you won't want it). I did a video several months ago called Down and Out in Pattaya and living on $500.00 per month. That is all of her advise of how to live when you come here 🤣
