I can't even wear them during the day because it gives me headaches. I just do a loose french braid on each side B4 bed. When I'm at home I do a loose pony, braid the end, twist it into a bun, and clip it with a very small claw clip. My hair is nearly to my butt. 😉
@@yourmajesty3569 those two things are not contradictory. You can protect ends whilenot using a lot of tension on your scalp. Protecting only the ends leaves lots of room for hair breakage/loss above them.

I sleep on my back so I just brush my hair to the top of my head & loosely wrap a satin scrunchy around it once then tuck 1/2 in the 2nd time around. Adds tons of volume at the top of my head by morning.
@@JaneParkerBowls I pull all my hair together at the top of my head, put my hair thru the scrunchie , twist the scrunchie & then pull my hair thru like a ponytail again but I only pull 1/2 my hair thru. Like a messy bun.
❤ please make video of protective hairstyles for short hair during traveling. I go to college by bus so I want some hairstyle that will protect my hair and also I will look good with it.
No one will probably answer this considering legal issues. They say it's not curable. I don't believe this though. I believe with the correct clean healthy diet and using the correct products and protecting your hair from harmful products and the environment will heal your scalp. I've had serious scalp psoriasis and have figured out how to heal it and it was extreme
Half of these are not protective hairstyles. Ends must be tucked under for it to be protective. And braids don't protect from friction of all day rubbing against your body and other things. 3/10

To be honest these are not what you call protective hairstyles.. I mean most of these tips. Like sleeping with a bun on? Wearing claw clip to sleep? Seriously! Please there are better protective hairstyle than these..
