I absolutely devoured A Love Letter To Whiskey after seeing your rec on tiktok. It was life changing. That book felt like a drug. I think it made me realize that I love toxic books lol. I remember spending two weeks reading the most angsty books to try and chase the high that A Love Letter To Whiskey left me.

Im almost finished a love letter to whiskey but I think what kept me was less of the storyline itself and more of the writing ! omg it was just so beautifully written
I love your videos. Watching them makes me feel like I'm hanging with a bestie. This year hasn't started that great for finding awesome books. I haven't found a 5-star yet according to my StoryGraph stats. But, looking at my 4.5-rated books, there are a couple authors I love that I don't think I've seen you mention. (My memory is crap tho, so maybe you have? lol) If you haven't check out Samantha Young's Adair Family Series and The Highland series you totally should. They sort of remind me of Catherine Cowles books with the hint of suspense they have in them. Both are in KU. Laura Pavlov is another favorite author for me. I haven't read her early books but I started with Honey Mountain series and have read every book since. She does great family/found family interconnected series. And she always has a family group chat channel in her books that are hilarious. Her books are also in KU.
A love letter to whiskey was SO good!!! I couldn't shut up about it.. still can't 🤣 I have to say B was a tad annoying but it doesn't matter because it's their love story and I cannot understand why someone wouldn't love this book!!! Actually I do, if you only read the first edition 😅

Just for the Summer was one of my favourites of Q1 as well. Side note but I also just finished Still Beating by Jennifer Hartmann and OMG it was so good.

I just discovered your channel and I'm loving your videos! I agree so much about Just for the Summer. The premise is dumb but the story managed to be perfect. Actually, all three of those books are 5 stars for me. They are so much more than just romance novels to me. I also agree 100% that women are judged so differently for being broody and troubled. We don't give our own gender grace. It's so frustrating
