I used to work in a perfume store and at that time I had a huge fragrance collection, I stopped counting at 150 perfume bottles. Today, almost 20 years after, I only own and use one fragrance every day, every season, all year round and this fragrance is Alien. I have a 19 year old daughter and I admire the way your mum made you feel special by giving you precious perfume. It's amazing how fragrance can make us feel conected with our emotions and senses. It evokes memories and feelings. I guess this perfume is a symbol of the live and care your mum has for you and how she wants you to feel good about being a young woman despite the broken heart. I bought Maison Lancome oud bouquet because of your recommendation. I didn't blind buy it because it's not a cheap one. Instead, I smelt it in a department store and I prefer the new version to the older one. They are 90% to 95% similar, but the new one begins with a softer start, while the old one is a bit more woody and smoky, which stops me from buying it instantly. Now I got the new one and it is so fascinating in winter. Fragrances with rose-oud combination is definitely my favourite winter scent. I love both oud bouquet and oud satin mood. I would also recommend Indonesian oud by Ermenegildo Zegna for the rose-oud accord.
I agree and may I go even further. IMO, Demi and Jeremy are on different levels. Her presentation is Mature and professional. Her descriptions of the fragrances are detailed and well thought out. Demi is about her business! Collaboration with Fragrance du Bois speaks volumes
Alien is the love of my life! I've gone through 3 bottles already… I get endless compliments with this… it makes me so happy…. Ugh!! I love youuu.. I have Lancome l'autre oud…. I definitely will be trying oud bouquet.
I love Guerlain too. I love wearing their classic masculine designers like Habit Rouge, L'Instant, Vetiver, Heritage & Homme. Very Gentlemanly. Love your faves too, you must smell irresistible. Good job I'm on the other side of the planet!

just bough amouge sunshine! and i am loving it! literally, smelt it for a second at an airport boutique, and bought it immediately without hesitation. definitely get a sticky sweetness from the apricot, but nothing to overwhelming and it smells complex. only downside, is that it doesnt have great projection, and i really would love for everyone around me to smell how great it :)

I just bought the lancome oud bouquet, sprayed it and i hated it... it made my nose runny and can’t breath!!! I immediately returned it... my delina is my number 1 scent as well 👌
You must try from the Exclusive line of Chanel Curie de Russie (my fav) very mysterious tobacco, leather oh so good. Also from Chanel Le Lion what do you think of both of these. My all time favorite if 540 Extrait, and MFK Al La Rose. then Curie de Russie. Please try it. You don’t need to go faster in your video’s, they can be longer we love them!
Yes you must be right about people either loving or hating Alien. I don’t like it at all! But, it probably just smells better on you than me 😆 My favorite purfume is Samsara by Guerlain .
Tastes absolutely change. Oddly enough, I loved wearing a lot of floral perfumes in HS and at the time hated gourmand/vanillery perfumes. But now I absolutely have to have a really good vanilla based perfume in my collection! I'm also totally addicted to spicier scents which I never used to love. I could not live without... Robert Piguet Fracas, Lancome Trésor (the original), Lancome Oud Bouquet (Girl, you got me hooked to that!), Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot, Hypnotic Poison, Bvlgari Black, Alien (such a masterpiece!) , L'eau d'Issey edt, and I have just recently become obsessed with Byredo Eleventh Hour - HIGHLY recommend, like a gourmand spicy scent soo addictive. I love that you love Coco Noir! It is really gorgeous but bummer it doesn't mix well on my skin ugh. Oud Satin Mood I NEED. Your taste is amazing as usual and I love hearing your favorite scents!

Lol I used to be a gourmand lover when I first got into perfume. It was all about the sugar and baked goods, now it’s nauseating. Then it was all about the fresh citruses and aquatics, now I hate those. 😅😅 I wonder what you’d be into in a few years. I’ve been into orientals for about 3 years now
I tried Alien about a year ago, and I was shook. I loved it. But it's such a statement fragrance I didn't think I wasn't confident enough to pull it off. I think I'm just gonna say screw it and get it now!
I love your channel & your style is impeccable too that’s a great pinstripe jacket. Also if I don’t like the opening of a perfume it never seems to grow on me, I have to love it from the first note.

I agree 100% with you about Alien: intoxicating. I think it's a smelling bomb. I hate it. Strangely I love and own Alian Eau Extraordinaire which is lovely in Spring and Alien Essence Absolue which is perfect for winter.

I tried Delina and it is not for me. It did not last 4 hours on my skin. I tried Oud bouquet and big YES I am in love with Oud bouquet by Lancôme incredible good.

I’m a new subbie!! For a while I stopped using all fragrances due to their health concerns but now I’m starting to get back into it because of persons like you whom I feel I can trust. I already own a few fragrances but I’m so torn as which to add to my collection. Delina sounds so tempting as you described but it’s so $$. I’ve been using Scent Split for decants because at this stage my perfume collection is getting out of hand and I’ll never probably use them all in my lifetime lol... so what is your opinion on decants? What is the best company to use do you think?
I don't think I've ever liked smelling like food lol. Sweet isn't for me. Guerlain is indeed a mainstay in the perfume industry, they know what they're doing. I don't find Chanel fragrances peform well. I bought Delina when it first came out...but alas it's popularity makes me back off of it though I still love it so much.
Beautiful collection! I've had my eye on Lancome's La Nuit Tresor L'Eau for well over a year now so hopefully I'll get getting that soon. Also the way you described Memo Paris Granada and Oud Satin Mood makes me want to try those too!
I reasonly became intrested in collecting fragrences. Alltough i always liked smelling good but only had one or two bottles at any given time, so in the last 4 weeks i got 4 new bottles. Dior Sauvage edt Yves Saint Laurent - la nuit de l'homme intense Paco Rabanne - Pure XS Armani - Stronger with you (gifted to me by my sister) On friday it's time for another bottle or two. Guess i will spend a couple hours in the fragrence shop trying to decide which ones to get.
I tried the Lancome Jasmins marzipane and i am obsessed. What a unique smell, omg i am in love. I saw that Dominique Ropion is behind it, that's another explanation why i like it that much 😍 But next time i will try a perfume that you like i will first check the price 😂 Girl, my pocket hurts 🤪🤪

I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been loving your perfume videos. Can’t say I’ll be able to try some of the ones you recommend because they are so expensive. I can’t see myself spending over $100 on perfume. Maybe one day I’ll treat myself. I do however have a few perfume subscriptions where I can get some high end and niche fragrances for the low lol
Can you review oud bouquet with the new 2016 formula versus the old? I love the old formula and haven’t made the switch yet. I also tried Aerin Rose de Grasse and received so many compliments on it. Not sure if it’s a newer scent but would love to know if you’ve tried it!
