"you can keep that in, Kirk" 💥 My fave accessory is a 3-in-1 Anker cube charger that I keep on my office desk. I don't have the airpods yet but it helps with charging both my phone and watch at the same time.
I went with the 15 Pro Max White and its a beast of a phone!!! Griptight magsafe and magsafe otter box case clear...I love the Anker 3 in one it charges phone watch and air pods all at once...Got that coming also...
I’ve heard charging has increased from a 20w limit to a 28w limit. Not anything crazy but I wonder if noticeable? Would be interesting to get a 30w charger or whatever and test it out.
I'm going from an 8 Plus to the 15 Pro Max, my first accessories for it are ready and waiting, a griptight magsafe tripod mount from joby and I'm going to give one of those pop sockets a go for everyday use see if I like it. I am interested in the new LiteChaser 15 that is coming out so I'm very interested to see your thoughts on that.
Sir- thank you! Can you direct me to a channel or video that could break down the different wireless options vs wired options for MagSafe iPhone 15. It’s overwhelming how many products there are and this is my first time with MagSafe and I have very little idea where to start. I’m confused about the magnetic power banks. Do you use them and then leave one attached to your car in order to charge wirelessly or do you plug in your magnetic charger to a wire when in the car? Do I need that round thing plus a power bank? You keep saying you I use 20 watt but at the apple srore thef said I should look for 30 watt stuff and that over 30 watts could damage your phone. Can you point me to someone who can simplify all this?
NO, you DON'T have to get the cable that Apple "blesses". There are tons of qualified USB--C 3.2 cables that work as good and even better and less expensive than the Apple tax cable. I get it, RU-vidrs love to push Apple products, but a lot of us techies out here know better.
is the 20W charger bad for battery health? i used one on my iphone 11 for awhile but stopped because it would get a bit warm. Upgrading to a 15 Pro now, should i start using the apple 20W over the apple 12W adapter?
It is my understanding that the 20W charger shouldn’t have adverse impact on battery health if you have optimized charging turned on in battery settings. my iPhone 14 Pro in the last year mostly using the 20W charger has only gone to 97% battery health. Totally worth being able to fast charge on the fly.
